As we head south from Uluru we cross the border into South Australia and spend a few days in Coober Pedy! We explore everything this unique little town has to offer - from underground churches, opal mine tours and opal noodling! And then we book a night in an underground stay!

Coober Pedy is a unique place. It was once a bustling town with many migrants from all parts of the world trying their luck in those mine fields. Bus loads of tourists everyday & many famous people have visited this town. The underground Serbian Church is an amazing place & it's the most famous in the world. You missed it.
Coober Pedy also has a hidden, dark side to it's history but this you would only know, by hearing real life experiences from people who grew up there in the 90's.
