Alli Malarum Adhikaalai ( English Title : The Water Lily that Blossoms in the Early Morning ) revolves around Arun, a newspaper delivery boy, whose life changes when he sees the beautiful college girl Swapna. Taking time out to admire her every day albeit from a distance, Arun’s world is shattered when he learns that Swapna is about to move to a new area, one that’s off his route.

I feel the college guy doesn't make any impact on this movie. In fact, this movie tells that enjoy with all the things around you. Whether you are getting it or not. It is not love, he knows that she is more for him. But still he wants to see her. Good job Arun. Nice ending...

Water Lily is a generic term .....which can be translated in tamil as neer malargal or neithal malargal...under the genus of nymphaea
Alli is not a generic terminology is a specific species ...
Nymphaea Alba, Nymphaea Nouchali-Alba or Nymphaea Lotus...these three can be categories under Alli/Aambal, the White Colour Water Lily which only blooms in the night otherwise you are just proving ancient Tamil scholars were just a clueless dim witted doughnuts..

Super! I like this movie. I read some fellow's comment that he watched the movie more than one time to see this heroine. Same happened to me too. Since this movie is completely rolls around her beauty, i should say that you have got the right heroine. Only one dialogue the rest is just the expressions, she has done a good job too. Music is good too. Definitely music will keep the audience sync with the movie.
But one thing I can't understand. In the 18 minutes. He and his friend taking a picture of her while she is leaving to the college. But again, he is chasing her to the college bus stop to see if she hasn't got the bus yet. This seems bit confusing. Even if i could take they are taking that picture somewhere else, the hero should know the time of college bus arrival. Most importantly the climate is not looking like a early morning and its looks like evening... Not sure if anybody noticed the same. Just wanna let you know this for your information.
