Basically how I understand it is that adjusting your hands between reps is a mark of an inconsistent approach rep to rep. If you force yourself not to adjust between reps, then you are coming at each rep with a more consistent approach. Across a line this more consistent approach makes things easier to clean.
Nicholas Dillion it helps because when people say reset it is habitual to set your hands back to proper technique. By keeping your hands still, it highlights areas in your form that you need to work on.
I don’t know what they are but fun fact, that guy is a perc tech for my school’s marching band and indoor percussion and he’s a really cool guy, he gave my best friend (a snare for my school’s marching band) one and he showed me how to do it, I just don’t remember what they’re called 😂
