+T.W. Milburn (skillet210) -I cut it today & sanded it! Going to stain & seal it next! Thank you as always for watching & commenting! You are so supportive! TY!
Love it! Your van is very organized and looks fabulous! Thanks for sharing your tips for organizing using the Velcro and pocket organizers. I also love the plastic drawer idea. They look great! :)
hey, a lightbulb went off in my head right there towards the end when you showed the black hanging nets that you only hook up when you need extra storage space! i have a van similar to yours and tho i have a place for everything, and everything in its place usually, when i go grocery shopping on the road to stock up for a long time boondocking, i suddenly have more supplies than storage for a while, and it always bugs me not to have a place for all of it in the meantime. hanging a net only when needed is perfect! i have watched a million videos and done a lot of pondering while traveling on my own as to coming up with "the best setup" in the van, but never thought of or saw that idea, GOOD ONE! missed the rtr this year (sad) but would have liked to meet you, good down to earth videos on a woman like me making life on the road happen. thanks!
Thank You! I am very street smart and learned much from my life experiences. (I Have 5 brothers that really showed me to learn not to be afraid to try things.) Been pretty adventurous all my life. Thank you for watching! I Love traveling and exploring!
It appears you have room to hang one if not two of your nets in your garage area to utilize the wasted space from the metal cabinet to the ceiling. Also you might look at the 'shrink' plastic storage bags found at Walmart's linen dept. to shrink down off season clothing and linens/blankets. It removes the air and compresses the contents down to much smaller size. I too like the green and brown combo. And you are the 1st I have seen using the command hooks in a van to hold up curtain rods. Thank you for sharing.
good job, I all ways have my eyes on those Ben's every time I go into Wal-Mart.... they look really nice... I think that when I get my van I will buy them.... thanks
You have no idea how much I respect somebody who thinks about their pets' safety when travelling! I cringe at how many people have their dog just sitting up by the dash, untethered. I know it's awful but I like to make people aware that the saddest funeral I ever went to was a young woman, and her dog's leash was draped across the coffin, because they both perished in a car crash. 😢
I have so much more space with it out! I originally did that for the pet cage for pet travel. Now it is in another location in the back. I have updated the van completely since this video. Check out the New "Cinnamon Girl".
Great video! Do you ever get scared on the road, like when you're parked for the night? Do you go to regular camp grounds? You go girl! You are living your dream. :)
+Copswife Kaye -I was married to a cop, so I learned much about being aware of your surroundings. I park where I feel comfortable, which is Walmart, Campgrounds, Rest stops, and Free BLM Camping in the Boonies! I love it! I have found other spots that worked for me Too. I was a bit scared the first few days when I started out living on the road. Then it becomes so natural. I have street smarts, so I am always being careful! Wanted to do this for years! I am living my dream!
+Christine Lowery (BEACHCRICKET) Good for you! I've been married to a cop a long time and I'm tooooo aware of my surrounding. lol....Just know too much, I think. You be careful out there. Your doggies are great to have along side!!
The problem with using tape on the torn armrest is that in hot weather it gets sticky and feels gross. I recently bought a van that the previous owner tried to tape repair the armrest, I couldn't stand touching it. I found a much better solution, I bought a pair of women's trouser socks (the straight tube type without the sewn in foot) for $2.70 at Walmart. They slipped right on and the fit and color match were perfect.
for fires inside you should just use baking soda ,fire extinguisher you touch that inside van seconds you wont be able to see it is baking soda super charged...get out window if someone sicking their face where it does not belong one quick squirt fire extinguisher surely gets you on your way...;)
In my state wasp spray is illegal to spray at humands. My daughter who's in van life carries walmart cheap spray paint. She needs an other can. She also carries pepper spray.
question.. Do you recommend someone who also has a conversion van to replace the carpet with vinyl or laminate flooring if they were going to be a full time camper??
Carpet is never a good idea where you have a lot of traffic, in a van, it's all high traffic area ! I live in FL where there is no dirt, just sand and I am amazed at the Northern people who out of habit of having cold floors install new carpet in their homes in FL..When taking up a carpet in a FL house you could fill a kid's sand box with what cuts thru to the underneath side.
Yes, this was My " Cinnamon Girl" that I traveled in for 2 years covering 48 states. She had an accident with the wheel bearings going out and was totaled. Now I live in My Shuttle Bus named "Shuttle Babe".
I have re done my van since this video. My ice chest is located in the passenger area and my stove is located in the back of the van in my new kitchen area. Check out some of my new videos on the van.
🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋 Your walking stick reminded me of the movie "The Way " with Martin Sheen when he does the trails of el Camino de Santiago In Spain , check it out it might be on RUclips but definitely on Netflix

ENJOY....THE SIMPLE LIFE
+Wolf Travels2 TY my friend!
That looks really awesome sweetie! Is it still the same way or have you changed it up some?
I am now in a Shuttle Bus!
question.. Do you recommend someone who also has a conversion van to replace the carpet with vinyl or laminate flooring if they were going to be a full time camper??
I wish I had! It is so hard to keep clean. I have 2 little girl dogs and it is much work with carpet. I plan to do that in the future.
Heeeeeello neighbor! Looking good.🚐🚐

I couldn't find info on the $55 dresser from Walmart...Can you tell me how you found them?
They are in the hardware section in some places and near the paint department in other Wal-Mart's.
Where is your ice chest or fridge and stove?
I have re done my van since this video. My ice chest is located in the passenger area and my stove is located in the back of the van in my new kitchen area. Check out some of my new videos on the van.
Where did you get ur curtain from
Walmart!
Really great tips...Thank You...
