Four Paws Bear Sanctuary - Prishtina, Kosovo

A small video I made from the Bear Sanctuary, just outside Prishtina when I was visiting Kosovo last Summer (June 2021). An incredible place, and a must visit if you are ever in the area. Four Paws do incredible work for animals throughout the world, so please look them up if you wish to donate.

Hi Gazza. Is there any other good things to see near the sanctuary or just outside of Pristina? If there is I'll rent a car (going to Kosovo and Albania very soon). If not I'll use the bus. Thanks!

Not really I'm afraid - but if you look at my other videos before and/or after this, I did stay in Pristina and also went to Mitrovica. I actually went to Tirana in Albania the following month, but I never got around to editing my footage from there (which I really should, as Tirana was awesome!!!). But if you are going to be starting and finishing at the exact same place, then I would definitely rent a car to get around: the borders were easy to cross (if in Kosovo, Skopje in N. Macedonia is very much worth a visit) and all officials were really friendly. It is so cheap to rent a car and you then also have the reliability and flexibility of being able to go venture whenever or wherever you choose. Enjoy the trip anyway - and I envy you going to Albania, as it really is an undiscovered gem! 😊

@@GarryMcGovern Wow thanks a lot for such a detailed response! It's really appreciated. I fly in and out of Tirana with only a week to spend so trying to figure things out and there's only so much I can see in a week. Looking forward to watching some more of your videos :)
