With a national audience on Thanksgiving evening 2021, six K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch League Teams competed in the Extreme Dog Catch competition of the World Pet Games on FOX TV.

American TV is awful. This is such a good concept.... but the stupid music through the entire show, the braindead commentary and coreographed audience reactions added in post production are insulting.
What kind of BS is having Americans saying they're "representing" some far away country that has nothing to do with them. This is just perfect American TV crap.
I hope world pet games will be held in different parts of the world like Olympics.
Betty didn't return a frisbee
In this competition, multiple discs were allowed and the dog did not have to return any disc . . . they only had to make a catch and return to touch the throwing box. Betty didn't return all the way after one catch and was called back before another throw was made. She won fair and square.
The poodle did just fine,the handler couldn't throw. That's the most important thing right there. You're dog will do his job. He have a Catahoola/Kelpie cross dog that can catch anything. I play with her but in competitions my husband throws.

I disagree. I watched it 3X. She was in the 100 pt box.
I originally thought she did too but I went back and the announcers said the dog had to return to the throw zone, but they didn't say the frisbee had to. I guess it's ok to drop the frisbee once it's been caught.

Can anyone tell me how many yards is the 50 & 100 point zone? My Australian sheperd can catch a frisbee nearly every time, if its a good throw, & no farm implements get in his way! Lol.

They retracted point from other contestants but not from the only American contestant just do they could give gold to themselves basically.
