Hi Blake and Kenya, I am sure you are full of ideas after leaving that amazing zoo so many species from around the world to tantalise your mind . You mentioned about getting flamingo's I have suggested in the past how great they would be on your ranch plus the bonus of being your mom's favourite bird well what can I say everyone's happy .😉 Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺

Great video that brought back a lot of memories. I'm Stan. I was a member of Sylvan Bird Park for about 6 or 7 years but ended up with a spinal injury after I retired in 2012. I used to be a professional freelance nature photographer in my spare time and have been published in over 25 countries. I absolutely love birds! I would take so many photos there and would be unable to identify some of them when I got home! Lol Luckily, I made a contact there who would help me what needed. I even donated some of my photos to them. Hopefully, I am moving to Florida by the end of April and buying a lakefront home with some land. I have been thinking of possibly getting a large aviary or two to try raising parrots but I also want something more natural with a small pool of water and a running stream. My goal one day is to go to Costa Rica. My mom has gone and told me how beautiful it is! I would love to keep in touch with you and even donate a few photos to you if you can use them. I am having medical issues and just had my 2nd leg amputated last week but I am lucky enough to be able to afford to move to Florida soon. I'm actually getting married next week! Anyway, thanks for the video and God bless you!

Loved every minute of it. On my Bucket List now. Thanks for sharing. From my past exotic animal experiences, I wouldn't recommend a Cassowary. They don't play well with others and have been known to break a keeper's leg with one kick. Rather be safe than sorry. Keep thinking colorful and unusual.
