LOVED this movie so much, I think I've watched it like 5 times in in the past few weeks already, and I agree I think this might be the best sound direction of any film I have EVER seen.

I loved this film and went in blind. It's one of those movies that I feel will fly under the radar.

Probable one of the slowest burns of any that I can think of. The acting was great and kept me invested until the end with a very nice payoff. So many horror films run a nice run and completely fail at the end souring the entire experience.
You're either gonna love the ending or hate it. I really liked it.

I watched the film like 4 times in several languages. The main reason is because English is not my first language, so I wanted to make sure I understood correctly. I’m a film nerd and i totally love it. Im also into the occult rituals and I’m very familiar with this ritual, however I never performed it, cause it’s a ritual you need money 💰 as it’s a long ritual where you have to be out of society for almost two years. I think the director did a good job at doing research.

I think what catches the imagination about this movie is its different perspective on summoning the supernatural. The clash we have today is our desire to want to believe in the supernatural and our scientific minds constantly denying that to us. This movie puts forth this ritual that appeals to our scientific minds just enough that makes it enticing. The overall idea is reaching out to the spiritual world through months of rites and seclusion and eventually after many months signs will start appearing showing it's working. The ritual has a history going back to ancient times which also made it interesting. This idea that you can break down a barrier to the supernatural through knowledge and persistent ritual over months was much more realistic to me than a haunted house.

I hadn’t been able to put my finger on exactly what it is about this movie that makes it feel real and authentic when you’re watching it, but you just nailed it. The ritual seems less magical when you have to work so damn hard. Our brains don’t expect a spectacular payoff if it’s just as simple as a few magic words and a candle or two.

I have a certain respect for this film.. taking such a spiritual angle during such demonic times.

One of the best horror movies I’ve seen in a while. I watched this movie alone and had nightmares that same night. I saw it for a second time and it has really stayed on my mind. By the way I love your shirt I’m a huge Beetlejuice fan!

Well we went to see IT and Anabelle yesterday, right after the movie starts they announce that the projector has stopped working and the drive-in will be closed until next Friday, we now have 3 car load passes to go see any movie there for free 3 times this year and next year.

Very slow burn but that payoff was so incredibly powerful and moving it just doesn't leave you. The poster doesn't do justice to it i will say because it just makes it look like a shitty cheap exorcism movie which is why i avoided it for the longest time. but it's anything but that and i would recommend to anyone who loves true horror. Great review my friend.

That's the thing I absolutely love a nice slow burn with a great pay off. I found this movie boring and uneventful unfortunately.

Sinister Cinema Reviews the ending was incredible, almost jaw dropping that they went there and didn’t leave it at a conventional horror film.. The lack of conventional jump scares and cgi are brilliant choices

The film score of this film was the weakest feature. If the music had been written to match the film's tone, it would be a more memorable film. The film score was written for a slasher/thriller, not a serious supernatural horror.

Goes shit when she returns to the house after breaking the circle, the guardian angel scene is almost laughable. Thoroughly enjoyed it until that part though.

May I say....sadly....that this movie needs more reviews....but this is not a great review by certain metrics.....thank you for the effort. The content is there, but try again. The material is very very good, I just hope you can try again with regard to the execution. thank you for trying and giving love to a very very good movie.
