Makes sense to celebrate 30 years of Need for Speed with Most Wanted, as the characters and the cars still resonate with NFS fans, nearly 20 years later since the game’s launch in 2005.
Maybe they would do Blacklist style races with the Campaign characters and Racer X. Thus finally finding out who racer x is. Speed Pass will probably have the M3 plus another iconic car from MW, probably Razor’s mustang. Most wanted like items, (license plates, rims, body kits, player cards, etc) The Cash + XP Boost events will probably be Races with cops chasing everyone. Maybe some type of augmentation to the “Be The Cop” mode. That’s all I can think of for now

I think the developers said they are considering the idea of making some EA Play cars available for everyone. If so, the M3 GTR could be a candidate for the Speed Pass content.
I see the Ultimate Edition go on sale maybe around christmas holidays, for 30-40 bucks. And if you never got Unbound... this is an INSANE DEAL! The 9 content updates are no joke, i usually always try and wait for ultimate/complete editions of games because the value is so good

In my opinion, the 2000s represented the peak of Need for Speed games with Hot Pursuit 2, Underground 1 and 2, Most Wanted, Carbon, and Undercover. Even NFS Shift should get some recognition as it was the franchise’s attempt to enter the simulation racing genre.

It seems like they are only discounting the people who bought the catch-up packs, I have bought a lot of the speed pass, and the only discount is what I have through EA. Before sale: $84.99 and after sale: $76.49
I noticed a lot of games are moving away from it. TCM with the prestige tickets, FH5 with the backstage passes, Forza Motorsport bringing lots of "year 1" seasonal cups next update.

It existed, it's called NFS World and it has some of the worst micro transactions in history, you can't even call them micro when cars like the F1 Elite were 100 dollars, and it couldn't be bought with in-game cash until a few months before the end of the servers. Didn't help that it was the best car in the game
