Easy to remember (good thoughts, good words, good deeds). They say Parsis are among the most respected people in India. Small minority with the biggest impact for the better. I wish there were more people like them.

I am also Christian, I think it is just as likely that Judaism is what influenced the Zoroastrianism/Magi religion. I say this mainly because of what is written in the book of Daniel.

@@augustYHW it is totally opposite! After Cyrus the great concur Babylonia and freed all the Jewish people and sent them back to their homeland and given them money to build their temple, Cyrus the great (Kourosh) name become a only and not Jewish Messiah to the Old Testament! and also Jewish people was in contact with the Magi(Zoroastrian priests) and you can see the shift of so many things in the Old Testament at this time! 550 BC

I listened to the first part of discussion. I agree that there is one God in the Gathas to be worshiped, named Ahura Mazda. Mazda is the name and means the Great Wisdom and Ahura is the attribute or creator. Ahura Mazda means the Lord of Life and Wisdom. Mazda is exclusively the name of God, but Ahura as an attribute is shared by God and perfect humans who by attainment of the Divine attributes have become Whole and Immortal, like God. A perfect human is the mirror image of God. In two verses, the word Ahuras refers to the divine attributes and by some interpretations, the prefect humans. Ahura Mazda is realized by good thinking and the best act worship is by conduct of good deeds. Daevas or the pre-Zoroastrian gods in the Gathas are considered as the imaginary creations of evil mind, Y32. Yazatas are not mentioned in the Gathas, they are all referred to as Daevas. The word Cow is a mistranslation and it is incongruous. The correct translation is "the living world". The soul of living world, not the Cow, laments of aggression, injustice and bloodshed and asks for a savior. The living planet has body and soul. The soul laments not only of pollution, but when there is injustice, aggression and rapine. Also the person of devil does not exist in the Gathas. Good and evil are the two opposite Mainyu (Phenomenon), born in the mind, and humans are granted the choice to think and by considering the results, choose one of the two. there is no compromise at the Great moment of decision. Therefore humans and not God, are responsible for the evil in this world. If all choose good, evil is vanquished.

It’s not actually a dualism! I’m Zoroastian my self, and I know we believe in one and only and only one creator! The Sepanta and Angra meynoo is not a two different God but is the absolute necessity of creation! For creation should be no creation first and for understanding light you need darkness(no light) for everything else also(happiness-sadness/ day-night / known-unknown...) this is the facts of to having the creation of what we know and to have the game of life can be going we need this to force! But we(human) as a co-works and friend of the AhuraMazda consciously we can choose to be part of the Sepanta maynoo( the mind of expansion and life and creativity and righteousness and light...) or trapping to the mind sets of Angra maynoo which is the representation of the mind of anger and destruction of life and lies and darkness... those mindset existed in the reality of life as needed but in our mind we create one is as bad or good and after realization and consciousness(Vahoomana) we can choose to be in the path of Asha. and on the end be one ☝️ with the source of creation MazdaAhura ✨

As a Zoroastrian I know, It’s not a The soul of Cow 😣🤯😳 the translation is coming form the “Geo sha” Geo is as in English Geography… it’s a soul of Giti in Persian or Zamin ( planets, material world)
    Love Zaratushtra❤️‍🔥🌞❤️‍🔥
The golden light ✨🌞✨The golden star🌟
Zarathustra’s cousin name was Madiyoumah means crescent(Half) moon🌛
Nobody ask about meaning of other people name! Reza! Jesus! Abraham!… Why then when we are not sure about Zarathustra name meaning, translate to some nonsense meaning 🤔 if we have to choose between the camel or light/star I think it is more make sense to choose light or star as he was the star of the humanity ✨🌞✨👑
Magi was the Zoroastrian priests ❤️‍🔥 Zarathustra’s followers was the one called Magi ❤️‍🔥👑❤️‍🔥

It's hard to put a timeline on Hinduism. When Hindu doesn't even know when it started. But they do know when it became popular which is in the empire of Gupta. Just chilling is that both came from the same area which is modern-day Afghanistan.

It started when Gupta Dynasty of India started trading Zoroastrians. They learned half knowledge from India and other half from mid east ancient Persian Empire. Hindus are still struggling protecting the world's oldest religion, but largely been converted either to Muslim or Christian or Positive Atheist(Hindu), we need the help of all over world to revive this religion.

The earliest extant manuscript for any Zoroastrian text is the Vendividad dated between 1288 and 1325 A.D.
For the Denkard, the earliest extant copies are between the 17th and 18th centuries A.D.
The earliest extant of the Avesta (Gathas and Yashts) is between the 18th and 19th centuries A.D.
All extants of the Avesta are demonstrated to have been derived from a single copy from about 1000 A.D.

The majority of the ancient religion of Persia is based on the star movement within the constellation of the Zodiac system. The universe is stabilized by two forces fight against each other, Light Sun versus Dark Sun (Blackhole) to create the orbital direction around them. While the specific pathway will reveal by the moon's lunar and solar eclipses each time, to occur on the line to show their alignment around this mysterious object (Black Sun or Blackhole). So, from the circular orbit of the sun in a regular harmony system, we are able to see the gravity of the black sun and therefore its existence, just by following moon eclipses while we are passing through the constellation of the Zodiac. To prove this, you can find more information in the Book of King Delo in three parts, 1- Universe, 2- Atom 3- God (named after an old name for the constellation of Aquarius), or check the below site for more explanation on RUclips (in English or Persian language) in regard Universe, Atom and God, please watch them by respect as one will open another door to view next part clearer.

Druids, Magi of persia and "Brahmeans are also the Magi but fled from Iran to India during Rashidun caliphate's religious persecution in the 7th century AD"
Because rigved written in sanskrit and sanskrit is a fusion language of Pali language and ancient iranian language....
And the aryan invasion is a conspiracy theory prepared during the British raj. Iran word is equivalent of airian, aryan etc....

it's a shame that it's dying out, but I guess it's pretty amazing that it has survived this long since being a minority a good 1200 years ago. I wonder how the pandemic is affecting the community too as well, because even a few hundred to few thousand would be a big blow on this just over 100,000 populated community

Wouldn't it be more accurate to refer to Zoroastrianism as henotheistic/ditheistic rather than monotheistic? Or is the Zoroastrian conception of the "Devine Heptad" similar to the Christian concept of Trinitarianism; as in seven distinct forms united into one godhead (Ahura Mazda)?
