- Yundi Li - Frederic Chopin Andante spianato et Grande Polonaise Es-Dur Op. 22 2010
Grande Polonaise Brillante précédé d'un Andante spianato, Es-Dur (1836)
from the Opera Narodowa in Warsaw Видеоклипы
The best interpreter of la Grande Polonaise i know.
Yundi Li should be paid a million dollars for each note he plays. This is what perfection sounds like, people!
I come here when I had a tough day and I need to relax... makes me forget for a time how hard life can be.
Beautiful・・・ I can't say any more. Chopin is the most fantastic composer ever. We love you
Chopin must have heard the voice of an angel... this kind of music is not human...... Yundi Li, you saved my night... once again!!!!!
so beautiful so delicate like it's touching your every nerve, and the emotion is just pouring out.. perfect!
I'm Yundi Li's fan. He's amazing!!!
Great technique, sensitivity and art: I seldom found so young a player with so many qualities
such a beautiful technique ! so fluent & soft...yet an outstanding articulation..
8:57 to 9:47 ....
Best 50 seconds of music I may have ever heard in my life. Wow. Wowwwww. Just wow.
Stunning version of the Andante Spianato, no matter how much mistakes he did, he played in an astonishing way, showing that we're human and we can make mistakes but the Yundi's stump will be always one of the best. A very great pianist, remember: we're not machines.
you are right...it is my opinion, too
.
Best interpretation of this piece. Yundi here plays so delicate, elegant with right tempo and such feeling and talent, just amazing, both the andante and the polonaise ❤
Chopin could've written an entire piece upon that melody from 9:00 to 9:45 and it'd be my favorite piece ever. What an incomprehensibly powerful melody, ugh.
I don't listen to this kind of stuff so much. But I have to admit that he and the song are great.
why does people always point out mistakes aka wrong notes? they're not important compared to the musical understanding and effect he created. Still, very beautiful playing.
Totally agree with you. It's impossible to play perfectly every time. Plus as a person who played this piece for quite long time... It is truly a difficult piece for both technically and emotionally even for professional pianists. I don't understand people who just point out the mistakes. Just saying, I've watched and heard of so many videos and albums of this piece, Yundi Li makes almost the least amount of mistakes aka wrong notes. Why don't people appreciate their understandings in music but just point out mistakes? To show that they are in certain degree in piano or music so that they can hear wrong notes in such difficult pieces? Well, if anyone's truly good at piano/music do not show off pointing out wrong notes but just feel the piece.
because thats all they hear
What wrong notes? I didn't hear any. This was wonderful!!!
This so far has been my favorite performance of the Polonaise...
A beautiful piece
Something about this song just feels like it narrates the life of love between two people who are meant to be together. Absolutely beautiful.
there are 2 pieces
The way his hands float over the keys is purely beautiful
One of the best pieces of music ever written in the entire universe.
One of the best pieces of music ever Played in the entire universe.
Yeah I love his interpretations of chopin compositions.
Sublime interprétation, amazing
When he plays, something extraordinary comes through, a lovely thread that touches the heart. Another pianist may play all the same notes similarly, but each conveys their own energy. Yundi Li raises that energy to a high level of spirituality.
Absolutely astounding to hear. I see the way he curves his fingers to play the music. A very sensitive rendition.
my favourite Chopin piano player
Mine too. He plays wonderfully.
For all his mistakes, his interpretation is deeply moving and very natural, very chopin-esque :-)
Caprice Royal did he made a lot of mistakes?
i couldnt have said it better, Caprice royal
@@crli88 not too many , however maybe its his own interpr !etation.... what really ruined his perforrmance was all those bloody adds!
Maravilhoso pianista !!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful!
sounds very very beautiful ! music touched my heart.
Absolutely amazing, so good this piano man!
This is very interesting.
I really loved this piece when he played at the chopin competition, but now he is more mature and has different understanding of chopin and different approach.
So beautiful!!
absolutely, positively, utterly... amazing.
Aaaahhhh...so very, very beautiful...
Meu Deus, que coisa mais linda.♥♥♥♥♥
Whatever people may say, Chopin must have had a heaven of a lot of fun writing that polonaise. There is simply nothing like it.
andante spianato is so beautiful...
Gente...ele é lindo...♥♥♥♥♥
Can you imagine being a friend of Chopin's way back when.."Hey this is what I came up with today" (plays piece) "What do you think"?
Wow. This is how you play Chopin.
love it!
Absolutely amazing! :)
I love this guy...you can tell he likes whats hes doing
Respect. He played it. I hate it when I'm playing a long piece, and the fingers go, but the notes get missed. It was almost perfect ! Seriously though, this happens to me all the time. 12:34 Most people won't notice if they havent studied the piece.
He done it again in the same passage ! Noooooo ! 13:05 And he shook his head, to prove it. He's a boss though, but that passage..... ! It's the fricking brain ! It imprinted on the wrong pattern ! Soooooo annoying. I know you can relate Yundo Li ! I feel your pain ! But......you playing it Bro, YOU PLAYED IT ! :)
love it!
soooo peaceful~~ totally enjoyed :)
Perfectly executed. Best interpretation I've ever heard, way better than Lang Lang's
You should listen to Sergio tiempos' rendition of this piece, it's amazing. But this guy plays it well too.
Fuck bang bang, not a real musician just a ridiculous flashy technician.
Wonderful to listen to.
It's just soooo beautiful
very crisp playing!
Sublime and subtle...
fantastic !
Bravísimo maestro!!
so beautiful!!
Formidable
awesome!!!!
thats actually a great version (better than 2000).. until the end happened, where he lost concentration..you´ve got the feeling he simply wanted to survice the ending, but until then it was really, really great, one of the very best versions there are of this piece. You guys also have to understand, concerts pianist of this caliber have got a huge pressure, having dozens and dozens of concerts with various repertoire, they sometimes have not much time to practice and there something like that can easily happen, they are not machines
aĺl this is controled by professionals
its almost like this song illustrates the life of love.
You cannot be serious, BarbronaGianni, Lang Lang is very good no doubt but Yundi Li is almost perfection.
Amazing.
EU AMOOOOOOO.♥♥♥♥♥
Beautiful!!!! But, 12:34 - 12:35 & 13:05-13:06..poor Yundi, he must feel terrible that he couldn't remember that part :((((...and it happened not once but twice >
You are much improved than the last time you played!
beauty
I like this version even more because of its ever so slightly mistakes, it is called the object cause of desire, like michel pfiffers mole! isn't it ? according to zizek ahahah cheers!
Chopin realmente e genial
Superb !
I luv the setting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it shows that they're just humans like us! :) on their way to perfect themselves.
Despite the 3 obvious mistakes that were listed :-
5:07 - 5:08, 12:34 - 12:35 & 13:05 - 13:06, we are still lucky to see him performed this song after 10 years. His overall performance is way more mature than in 2000. Not an easy piece though!!
Not gonna lie. I absolutely love Yundi Li, don't get me wrong, but he really chopped the Grande Polonaise Brillante in this performance :\
Overwhelming.
mad piano skills.
@sebulban You have to remember that a lot of that is the fact that this was recorded much better than most piano concerts on youtube, and that's why you have clarity and warmth. He is incredible, but part of the effect is the great quality of recording.
9:11 My favourite part
Same
Alejandro Mer yeah, me too. very impressive
Without a doubt, the most poetic and best part of the piece. But I'm still waiting for a pianist to fully express that poetry it contains. I hope being able to do it myself.
Alejandro Mer omg mee too
Oh come on a mistake each time on that deathly rising alternating pattern towards the end? This man isn't a god and I think besides those two small lapses it was the best interpretation i've ever heard. Kudos.
try his performance in 2000 Chopin competition.
Why would you enable ads on this piece of art.
hermoso, me agrado mucho
my god.......monstre
I totally agree :-)
Maravilhoso!!! Sem palavras para descrever!!!
Totally agree !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you Pink Martini!! :-)
so sweet :x :x
life of love and loss.....
Those long and elegant fingers keep his forearms relatively quiet.
uh, that's not too bad I guess! Kidding, it is just insane how good this guy plays Chopin!
Best~~~
Amazing performance, but is not right play advertisement during the performance
He made some mistakes ? It was so beautiful I didn't even notice it ! As long as music flows it doesn't matter with a few wrong notes,I think.
quite a lot actually compare to chopin competition
I believe it went something like: "Sure, I can play without making mistakes... but if you want me to feel the music, then yes, there will be wrong notes."
Better than Yundi Li playing Chopin, only Chopin playing Chopin
Looking at these comments about a few memory slips recalls the words of Horowitz which went like: No wrong notes usually means BORING playing!
