    Yundi Li should be paid a million dollars for each note he plays. This is what perfection sounds like, people!

    Stunning version of the Andante Spianato, no matter how much mistakes he did, he played in an astonishing way, showing that we're human and we can make mistakes but the Yundi's stump will be always one of the best. A very great pianist, remember: we're not machines.

    Chopin could've written an entire piece upon that melody from 9:00 to 9:45 and it'd be my favorite piece ever. What an incomprehensibly powerful melody, ugh.

    why does people always point out mistakes aka wrong notes? they're not important compared to the musical understanding and effect he created. Still, very beautiful playing.

    • @shroomieguardians
      @shroomieguardians 9 лет назад +15

      Totally agree with you. It's impossible to play perfectly every time. Plus as a person who played this piece for quite long time... It is truly a difficult piece for both technically and emotionally even for professional pianists. I don't understand people who just point out the mistakes. Just saying, I've watched and heard of so many videos and albums of this piece, Yundi Li makes almost the least amount of mistakes aka wrong notes. Why don't people appreciate their understandings in music but just point out mistakes? To show that they are in certain degree in piano or music so that they can hear wrong notes in such difficult pieces? Well, if anyone's truly good at piano/music do not show off pointing out wrong notes but just feel the piece.

    When he plays, something extraordinary comes through, a lovely thread that touches the heart. Another pianist may play all the same notes similarly, but each conveys their own energy. Yundi Li raises that energy to a high level of spirituality.

It imprinted on the wrong pattern ! Soooooo annoying. I know you can relate Yundo Li ! I feel your pain ! But......you playing it Bro, YOU PLAYED IT ! :)

    thats actually a great version (better than 2000).. until the end happened, where he lost concentration..you´ve got the feeling he simply wanted to survice the ending, but until then it was really, really great, one of the very best versions there are of this piece. You guys also have to understand, concerts pianist of this caliber have got a huge pressure, having dozens and dozens of concerts with various repertoire, they sometimes have not much time to practice and there something like that can easily happen, they are not machines
