It's so nice to see them playing in a good-sized venue, with backscreens, full-blown professional lighting, et cetera -- the environment that they deserve to be in each and every time they hit the stage. They were born for "The Big Tent"!
You often times hear people say, "Hey, we caught the band on a good night!". Can you conceive of Band Maid having a bad night, even a mediocre night? They are so consistently, so relentlessly excellent -- you know exactly what kind of night that you're going to have before each and every Band Maid concert starts!
Miku's idea of the gap - kawaii and Maids VS rock and roll is way evident in this clip, if you didn't know BAND -MAID and saw 5 petite, pretty women in their outfits you might have some interest but man o man right out of the gate (unbroken of course) they go at you like seasoned champion rock and roll cage fighters, farking wonderful and yes on the Misa, Akane gel and chemistry, this is what every rock and roll rhythm section should aspire to, thanks for the reaction and your ongoing support and promotion of these incredible Rock Goddesses, Viva the Maids peace and love Po 👍🎼🥁🎤🎸🍻
Kanami basically goes off nonstop from the beginning of the song till the end….she didn’t get a break. It’s incredible to think that she played probably played hundreds of notes in this song and she hit every one of them perfectly (or maybe missed one note tops) and she kept her timing. This is not an easy song to play at all for any of them. Saiki has to go on long vocal runs as well. But of course the Maids slayed it as usual. There simply is not many rock bands out there that can play this song this good….let alone write it.
