Man, Johnny is sure spaced out on pills here. Great to see though. I'm a life long JC fan, got more than 30 books on him and I keep seeing new stuff turn up like this video on "Shindig". Thanks so much for your contribution to humanity Johnny. Love you. And thanks JC Infocentre for posting.
@@reeceblinman7469 Studio version yes. It was Charlie McCoy and Boots Randolph who did all the Saxophone and Harmonica work on the Orange Blossom Special album... But they were studio sessionists... You had a higher chance of seeing Boots Randolph live than seeing Charlie McCoy Live. If you look, McCoy was pretty much the only Harmonica sessionist in Tennessee. Fun fact, he did about 90% of the Harmonica work on Waylon Jennings' albums. between 1965 and 1972
He had a stormy emotional life...love him as he was...great songs...don't judge him...dislikers stay out

Yeah, not his best performance but still a treasure. 30 books, wow! Big fan!
Exelente
So glad you’re back!
Glad to be back! I'll upload some nice 'new' ones again from now on.

Just great 😊 👍
Luther really cuts through in this! I love it. I wonder who is on the harmonica and sax since this is live
Charlie McCoy and Someone else

In other videos I’ve seen Johnny do the harmonica
I’ve looked for this video all over since I saw it in 2016. Thanks for uploading
What a sad story, I'm crying.
Probably the strangest Johnny Cash video I’ve ever seen.
I know his use of the pills is evident here. But strange Johnny Cash was good too I guess.
Johnny Cash here seemed very happy doing what he loved in spite of the drugs. This phase is interesting
Johnny was like Elvis , with all the beautiful gals around...
Es de lo mejor del gran johnny cssh
Descripción perfecta de mamarracho, el gran Johnny Cash, videos que huelen a alcohol. Que gran personaje el del video. Lo admiro
You're back!
Absolutely! Time again to unfold some more Cash treasures :)
I bet he was embarrassed about doing this. LOL
But with the right pills it was okay for him.
Trotz pills, mega
: ' )
Pre recorded backing track with live vocals?
Charlie Daniels bring me here
what appeal this would've had to kids in 1964-'65 is a mystery.
Has appeal to me. Johnny Cash is charismatic, the song is great, it's just a good time
Lag version lol
Definitely the mid life crisis confidence with this stance video😂 jk ik it’s the pills
Wishing, Lord,
that I was stoned.........
