here's how i see the former warlords ending up -we already know crocodile, buggy and mihawk formed cross guild (also the first 3 we ever met). -boa hancock definitely wont stay on amazon lily. will 99.99% certainly go to luffy for help. -gecko moriah is either dead, with blackbeard, on his own or about to join cross guild. -jinbe is in luffy's crew. -doflamingo wont break out on his own, and i dont see a breakout happening without outside influence, so either cross guild or stuck in impel down forever. -edward weevil probably wont join cross guild even if his mother tries to get him to. will probably be on his own. -blackbeard and law are the captains of their own crews doing their own thing. -kuma is with the revolutionaries and will probably stay that way.
With latest situation, the chance of Weevil joining Cross Guild is raising. Marco, Weevil, Doffy and Bon Clay. We maybe heading for Cross Guild vs BB fighting for supremacy, which one is the no 1 real pirate crew. Luffy will be the pirate king but in term of true pirate, i think Buggy will have it.
As for Edward Weevil, I think Oda has his own plans in place for him, not sure yet though. Maybe he'll fight Luffy or even join Blackbeard. Or maybe he'll join Crossguild.
If Doflamingo does join, I am betting everything that Enel is going to as well. If the Cross Guild is really another way to reuse old villains, I WANT Enel back.

I have a feeling cross guild will join up with Straw Hat Grand Fleet by the end of the story. It would fit with what Mihawk said about Luffy's power getting others to join up with him. I also think Mihawk vs Zoro will be towards the very end of One Piece. I know bounties aren't everything, but they still suggest that Zoro still has some growing to do before the duel with Mihawk.
My biggest hope is that Mihawk vs Zoro is literally one of the last chapters. That Cross Guild and the Strawhats start having a Roger Vs Whitebeard-esque rivalry. Zoro has specifically stated that Luffy's dream comes first so it makes sense the Duel might not happen until after Luffy has found the One Piece.
I love Crocodile so much. I don't care where he falls in terms of power levels these days, he still deserves a ton of credit for being the first real 'big league' pirate the crew fought and this seems like a perfect place to put him for the final act
I feel like Croc, Mihawk, and Buggy all have a bit more moral fiber than Doffy. It's possible, but I see them as being very different. I think Luffy had a great impact on Croc and he may actually have some regrets about how Alabasta went down. I think a lot of what Croc did in Alabasta had to do with being defeated by Whitebeard and losing his confidence. Doffy is still insane and I feel would still try to destroy Dressrosa again given the chance.

I have always enjoyed Crocodile's character. Maybe because his Fruit is amazing, probably because his design is so appealing, but I've always been a bit sad he was such a "weak fighter". Sort of like Enel, overdependence upon your fruit is good for Luffy and bad for others... but whatever, as soon as he gains some more personal power, he's in for a good time in the life of crime
Crocodile is one of my favourite one piece characters too. His character design seem very reminiscent of Candyman, which is darn cool. I think Oda will likely buff up him, like he did in Marineford.
Luffy doesn't overly depend on his fruit..... He has 3 advanced haki's and very impressive physical stats. He absolutely uses his ability to its fullest but he doesn't focus on it to the detriment of his other skills and abilities
I think Moriah fits in too well with the Blackbeard pirates the same way that Jinbe fits in with the Straw Hats. Plus I think it sets up a final face off against Brook.
why? moria has no beef with brook and at no point does brook hint at having a grudge agaisnt moria. If Moria does join BB, he is bound to betray him, nothing BB does will justify killing his nakama in his eyes.

I’m expecting every former warlord besides Jinbei, Teach and Law to join Cross Guild. All of them are gonna team up as a super crew like Rocks where they all have their own ambitions and don’t necessarily get along super well. They have their own goals and are just going to work as a joint group to achieve each of those with each other’s strength. Edit: also don’t expect Kuma to join up but he will likely play a role with the revos (they might be able to reprogram his brain)

Liam here ya go. The magic trick was taking whitebeards fruit and infusing it in two rings, one on each of blackbeards hands. Blackbeard didn’t eat a second fruit, he simply made everyone believe he did. The Yami Yami no mi can take fruits and infuse them into things. The reason he covered himself was so everyone didn’t realize he infused the ring and didn’t actually consume a second fruit. I don’t remember seeing blackbeard ever use a quake quake kick for example. Everything blackbeard did with quake quake fruit was his hands. Whitebeard infused his stomps with quake quake and in his prime probably infused everything
The Cross Guild Trio are all former Warlords. I could see Doflamingo join as well. He's too arrogant to take orders from anyone, but he could try to manipulate the others to do HIS bidding.
One thing I liked about the newest chapter was showing black beard isn't completely unstoppable. Some people were really thinking black beard could confidently fight against anybody in the one piece universe and this chapter showed that he isn't even confident enough to fight against old man Rayleigh

What I find interesting is if Perona joined with Mihawk, Crocodile has the sum total of 4 warlords resources (or at the remnants as Gecko is prolly ded) and all still active non filler villains defeated by Strawhats Buggy encompasses most of the East Blue villains with buggy now having Don Kriegs claim to fame of biggest crew and has recruited Alvida If he takes in Doflamingo I can also see him taking in Arlong as a stand in for Jinbei so I guess Weevil would work for 7 and maybe needs to name someone else a 7th warlord in Moria’s place
I always did wonder how a character as broken as crocodile got smoked by a pre gear 3 luffy. He’s got a bad water weakness, sure. But all fruit users have that to some degree. Two reasons. First, Crocodile lost due to lost will, he wasn't even using his fruit in the last battle. Secondly, Luffy was much stronger than we expect in Alabasta. We believe he was weak because it was the beginning of the story but if you think about it, he had already defeated no3 of the Sun Pirates... Luffy was indeed strong.

What if that assassin was Daz Bones (the most famous and successful one we know of) what if Croco Boy sent his no.2 back then to recruit Doffy for Cross Guild? You have to remember that crocodile hates dolfy. Crocodile actually saved ace once and dolfy got in the way and beheaded crocodile but the sand sand fruit saved him. Honestly the fact crocodile saved ace at all is very very over looked. Crocodile could have went to really finish off whitebeard since by that point whitebeard had been stabbed and beaten up. At that point whitebeard was at his weakest we had ever seen. Crocodile could have gotten the fame for slaying whitebeard but instead decided to save ace for some unknown reason.
I love the thought of Doffy and Moria in Cross Guild. Also Weevil maybe, if only so the Straw Hats can have them be a wild card 3rd force set against them in whatever big battle comes against the World Gov't. Imagine Sanji and Doffy going toe to toe in a much more grandiose fashion than on Dressrosa with the addition of Kizaru in a grand threeway battle, Brook vs. Moria, Nami vs. Buggy, Robin vs. Crocodile; all these old rivals who Luffy had to beat for his crewmates, now they can stand up to these Warlords as the Commanders of the Grand Fleet to prove they are the equals of any Yonko's crew. Plus you can get Zoro vs. Mihawk and Jinbe vs. Weevil in very thematic fights. Also calling it now. Franky fights Green Bull. Plants vs. Machine. Lemme see it. I think if Boa is going to align with anyone it would be with the Grand Fleet though. (Especially after the most recent chapter). The Marines going after the Warlords is a majorly dumb move...or....is it a brilliant one? What if the real reason the World Government okayed this move (Besides having Vegapunk's new toys), was to weaken the forces of SWORD? Marines who are not aligned with absolute justice or loyal to the Celestial Dragons are being sent after the Warlords...to make it all the easier for the **PURGE**.
I just hope Luffy's mother is not Garp's daughter since he never said Dragon was his own son. Garp just said 'I met your father the other day' . It would be hilarious if Garp declares that🤣🤣🤣
Honestly, while I could see Doffy joining Cross Guild, I doubt he would allow himself to be a subordinate. Obviously, that applies to Mihawk and Crocodile as well, but they’re both pragmatic enough to use that situation for their own advantage; Doffy is too arrogant (plus his past as a Celestial Dragon) to be a subordinate. Also, I like the idea of Moria joining Cross Guild!
Let’s say crocodile is caribous boss. Then assuming he can get pluton out of wano. Which isn’t impossible given his resources. He could use pluton to destroy impel down which could lead to very interesting dynamics for late game story telling. So that no only does every prisoner escape but the world government will also lose one of its biggest powers.

Crocodile is one of my favourite one piece characters too. His character design seem very reminiscent of Candyman, which is darn cool. I think Oda will likely buff up him, like he did in Marineford.

and very impressive physical stats. He absolutely uses his ability to its fullest but he doesn't focus on it to the detriment of his other skills and abilities

I think Moriah fits in too well with the Blackbeard pirates the same way that Jinbe fits in with the Straw Hats. Plus I think it sets up a final face off against Brook.
why? moria has no beef with brook and at no point does brook hint at having a grudge agaisnt moria. If Moria does join BB, he is bound to betray him, nothing BB does will justify killing his nakama in his eyes.

It is also highly unlikely that there is affinity between the two. I could Doflamingo convincing Mihawk to leave the guild somehow, but it is highly unlikely that they would ally.

When Caribou tells him about Pluton's location, Crocodile has the one devil fruit power that can easily drain the waters covering old Wano/Pluton. And Oda did stress the point that the water is not sea water so it wont affect his power in the slightest.

I’m expecting every former warlord besides Jinbei, Teach and Law to join Cross Guild. All of them are gonna team up as a super crew like Rocks where they all have their own ambitions and don’t necessarily get along super well. They have their own goals and are just going to work as a joint group to achieve each of those with each other’s strength.
Edit: also don’t expect Kuma to join up but he will likely play a role with the revos (they might be able to reprogram his brain)

Liam here ya go. The magic trick was taking whitebeards fruit and infusing it in two rings, one on each of blackbeards hands. Blackbeard didn’t eat a second fruit, he simply made everyone believe he did. The Yami Yami no mi can take fruits and infuse them into things. The reason he covered himself was so everyone didn’t realize he infused the ring and didn’t actually consume a second fruit. I don’t remember seeing blackbeard ever use a quake quake kick for example. Everything blackbeard did with quake quake fruit was his hands. Whitebeard infused his stomps with quake quake and in his prime probably infused everything

One thing I liked about the newest chapter was showing black beard isn't completely unstoppable. Some people were really thinking black beard could confidently fight against anybody in the one piece universe and this chapter showed that he isn't even confident enough to fight against old man Rayleigh

Two reasons. First, Crocodile lost due to lost will, he wasn't even using his fruit in the last battle. Secondly, Luffy was much stronger than we expect in Alabasta. We believe he was weak because it was the beginning of the story but if you think about it, he had already defeated no3 of the Sun Pirates... Luffy was indeed strong.

Remember when a mystery assassin was supposedly coming to Impel Down to seemingly kill Doffy?! Well, here's the thing. What if that assassin was Daz Bones (the most famous and successful one we know of) what if Croco Boy sent his no.2 back then to recruit Doffy for Cross Guild? It's not like Doffy had any other options or better plans and he did want to collab with Croco Boy during Marinefold but he wanted him to be his no.2 but now the tables have turned because Croco Boy has essentially united all pirates and pirate crews against the Marines and with Mihawk as Cross Guild co-founder they're essentially unstoppable, especially with Buggy being Mihawk and Croco Boy fall guy lol

You have to remember that crocodile hates dolfy. Crocodile actually saved ace once and dolfy got in the way and beheaded crocodile but the sand sand fruit saved him. Honestly the fact crocodile saved ace at all is very very over looked. Crocodile could have went to really finish off whitebeard since by that point whitebeard had been stabbed and beaten up. At that point whitebeard was at his weakest we had ever seen. Crocodile could have gotten the fame for slaying whitebeard but instead decided to save ace for some unknown reason.
Gecko Moria’s name is also a lizard so the only question is “between himself and his shadow which one is the lizard and which one is the clown?”
I think most of luffy's past enemies will join cross guild such as arlong and the xmen from ussop's village

Lowkey I was hoping Bon-Chan was dragged along with them and would be start of the reuniting with the Straw Hats.
I love the thought of Doffy and Moria in Cross Guild. Also Weevil maybe, if only so the Straw Hats can have them be a wild card 3rd force set against them in whatever big battle comes against the World Gov't. Imagine Sanji and Doffy going toe to toe in a much more grandiose fashion than on Dressrosa with the addition of Kizaru in a grand threeway battle, Brook vs. Moria, Nami vs. Buggy, Robin vs. Crocodile; all these old rivals who Luffy had to beat for his crewmates, now they can stand up to these Warlords as the Commanders of the Grand Fleet to prove they are the equals of any Yonko's crew. Plus you can get Zoro vs. Mihawk and Jinbe vs. Weevil in very thematic fights.
Also calling it now. Franky fights Green Bull. Plants vs. Machine. Lemme see it.
I think if Boa is going to align with anyone it would be with the Grand Fleet though. (Especially after the most recent chapter).
The Marines going after the Warlords is a majorly dumb move...or....is it a brilliant one?
What if the real reason the World Government okayed this move (Besides having Vegapunk's new toys), was to weaken the forces of SWORD? Marines who are not aligned with absolute justice or loyal to the Celestial Dragons are being sent after the Warlords...to make it all the easier for the **PURGE**.

Obviously, that applies to Mihawk and Crocodile as well, but they’re both pragmatic enough to use that situation for their own advantage; Doffy is too arrogant (plus his past as a Celestial Dragon) to be a subordinate.

Let’s say crocodile is caribous boss. Then assuming he can get pluton out of wano. Which isn’t impossible given his resources. He could use pluton to destroy impel down which could lead to very interesting dynamics for late game story telling. So that no only does every prisoner escape but the world government will also lose one of its biggest powers.
Those new PX are a bigger threat than the Blackbeard Pirates. Further solidfying that Imu is the final antagonist, not blackbeard.
I mean, it would make sense if the animal named warlords would at some point team up, one piece usually has a thing for people from certain groups having similarly themed names

i noticed recently while rewatching the marineford arc that the gura-gura no mi shockwaves looks like the burst of conqueror haki leading me to theorize that blackbeard does not have conqueror haki and is using the gura-gura no mi as a replacement maybe? idk but it could be a fun twist
Funny enough I made a video 2-3 weeks ago about Caribou working for Crocodile and the premise that as soon as Pluton info leak Crocodile is seen once again. I also went on to say that Buggy's yonkon crew epithet will consist of former warlords or pirates with animals names: a Crocodile, a Hawk. A Weasel, Caribou, Flamingo and a certain Boa. I certainly support this great video.
