Been that way for at least three years at most Chargers home games. Even in San Diego I saw plenty of Dolphins jerseys the last time I saw them. The only NFL fans that go to Chargers games nowadays root for the other team.

I used to blame the nice weather and sunny beaches in San Diego for their lazadasical attitudes. I would blame the smog in LA but uh the Lakers have 17 titles so its not that, its that the Chargers are perennial losers and the only thing they accomplished by moving to LA was alienate a fan base that was loyal and at the same time became a husk around LA's neck. I don't think the MLS champions LA Galaxy appreciates them stinking up their stadium.

We're not a big market city. We are definitely a loyal fan base...but Kansas City is not a big market area
The simple answer is there is nothing else going on in K.C. You go the Royals & the Chiefs. Only difference is the Royals have had success in recent history. The Chiefs on the other hand follow the same formula every year: go on a run early in the season, lose the next 5, 6, 7, or even 8 games straight, sneak into the wild card only to get shut out. Happens every time. Yet the fans will still go and pay the ticket prices and parking that increases every year. I don't get it myself...
