@@tanikazesen2188 exactly, the reason admins limit redstone dust is because they are one of the most laggy things you can have since they have many states and every single time they update they will check their state, causing shit ton of unnecessary lag. The vanilla redstone experts all use rails with/or observers (but there is no observer in 1.8). Comparators dont cause nearly as much lag so i dont think it will be patched so quickly. Also cactus farms have always been a thing and the admins have a lot more things to deal with than sickos who spent hundreds of hours filling up their islands with cactus.

You are literally a genius, you discovered a way of fast transporting of items with a very limited use to redstone and also used it with your farm that you have been working for countless hours, i really hope hypixel doesnt come and just remove that mechanic with the excuse of that being a "bug", sadly normally when people found things like this and share them in a video, literally days later it will be fixed/removed, but if it doesnt happen, you well deserve all the skyblock coins you get with that madness that you call farm, keep the good work

Uh, btw, I'm pretty sure that dropper lines are popular fast way of item transportation on technical servers :D Why? Items on ground (in water) cause lag, droppers just move an item to other dropper. Oh and that comparator line. I think there is an instant dropper line which is made of like uh... don't know actually, but I think it requires observers, which we don't have, but it's super low laggy. So yes, what you made is actually less laggy than hoppers and redstone dust, it's crazy. You could try using powered rails, but I think those need observers too. I have a feeling you've done it, there is nothing else you can do, right? Full island, working full collection at max. efficiency both speed and item loss wise. Unless you wanna cut the farm in half to... raise the efficiency of upper half. Yea... i think the island can't take that.
wait, one thing that could be optimized. furnance fuel and how to refill. - fuel which will last long - fuel which is easy to store and be manipulated with - cheap So, lava buckets are most efficient, but hard to work with, like so bad. don't even bother. Next are blaze rods... but they get expensive, however super easy to refill and very good fuel. After that I assume coal/charcoal is next best fuel, whichever is cheaper. Making charcoal should take few minutes, just refilling might be harder, since you can't buy from bz. Unless you make a smelting station next to every furnance. I'd actually try blaze rods, they are expensive, but might be paying off since you use hyperfurnance at max. efficiency. unless.. you already solved it and I wasted time by writing this

@@SomethingLT 1. okay so how rails work is they change block state, which is block update that is detectable by observers, which picks-up the signal. however, block updates can be used to power some redstone components... somehow? it's weird block updating thing when a block is powered, but if it's not updated, the action of block (dropping an item) won't happen until it gets updated. this was rather just an example rails are actually used, but can't really be used on hypixel since no observer 2. not really redesign collection, just make a second collection at Y128 or somewhere in middle, so you have 2 cactus farms stacked on top of each other. with that dropper system it shouldnt be hard to move items pretty much anywhere. right now the ONLY losses the farm has are caused by naturally cactus items dropping on other cacti, which can be optimized by reducing the height of the farm (starting from the bottom, first layer has 0% loss, second layer has small loss and the loss % is going up every layer), so say a collection every 5-10 layers? of course this would have to be again optimized since collection is always lag issue and it takes up space. splitting it in 2 or 3 farms stacked on each other might be worth it tho 3. coal blocks.... right I knew I forgot about something. yes, that's 100% the most efficient, is it 14 hours for a stack of coal blocks? So in theory, if you could use a single hopper and a doublechest for each furnance, you can have fuel refilled for a full month. sounds good enough

for the ice breaking, you could have used dirt blocks and placed a couple grass blocks since the dirt with blocks on top will stay dirt while the rest turn to grass making it easier to destroy
