About The Daily Show:
Trevor Noah and The World's Fakest News Team tackle the biggest stories in news, politics and pop culture.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airs weeknights at 11/10c on Comedy Central. Приколы
I’m a white woman and I live outside the South. One of the reasons I love The Daily Show, you guys don’t lie about racism or pretend it doesn’t exist.
Now, if we could get the rest to not "lie about racism or pretend it doesn't exist."
if anything, is part of the Tourism in America.
"come to Mississipi! see how stupid our Racism can get! bring your kids."
This is great. What a world when you go to comedians for serious news reporting. And you go to the Impeached president for comedy. Actual journalists. Good one.
If you're coming here for your news reporting you'll end up horribly misinformed.
@@St0pTheSteal ANYWHERE you go for serious news reporting and don't take some critical thinking skills along with you, you're going to wind up horribly misinformed. Sorting facts/opinions/perspectives is your job not theirs. An irresponsible viewer is a misinformed viewer.
mostlyHarmless love your name and I know how you feel said the same thing earlier today about this very show. And honestly comedy strips things down and can make some really good points.
Don Taylor that is so well said!! I am trying to explain that exact situation to my mother!! I am so afraid she gets all her news from fox....

Never seen Roy so serious.
Right..seriously serious..
Ikr🤯 is messing with my mind
Yeah he's actually a really serious person
The rooooaaad.
There is one or two bits where he gets real serious on the show but it only lasts maybe 30 seconds
My respect for the show and correspondents was already high. It just went up higher with all this insight.
Jon Stewart made a brilliant choice when he chose Trevor Noah...
Trevor also chose BRILLIANTLY...
ROCK ON!!!
Just proves how talented and funny they are
And how dumb and untalented Trevor is.
@@ahmeds.2290 Why are you indulging an Obvious troll? I mean TasteMyStinkhole? How bait is that? Let em sprout their hatred. Trevor was chosen by Jon Stewart and not That person... So clearly their opinion doesn't count for much
Ameya Gokhale you are absolutely correct

yup
Not everything needs a podcast.

I never knew that there were feral camels in Australia! I think that would be a great story to cover and it would tie in with the culling of wolf packs etc. in America.
Better get on it before John Oliver gets his pale mitts on it
You do know that wolf's are good for the environment right?
I don't understand comparing a native species which is good for environment and sn invasive species that is not
@@mahnamahna3252 the farmers and ranchers claim that the wolves are invasive because they occasionally lose livestock. I didn't read anywhere that the camels were invasive just that there was a drought so they decided to cull the camels.
@@jenniferh8148 for people who raise livestock predator animals have always been an issue. Wolf's, bobcat, fox cougar are native species. They eat prey animal ie rabbits mice rats deer that deviate crops native plants-ecosystem when out of balance.
It is hard to protect livestock from native predator wildlife I agree. But we need them.
@@mahnamahna3252 yeah we do!
The look on Dulce's face when Roy began to compare Trevor and John's tenures though...
But my man walked that line
LIKE A BOSS!!!😎
Couldn't stop grinning, at the intelligence and the humor at the same time - this crew is fun.
Agree...they are seriously funny and like Desi says "entrenched" !
"I'm excited to see America confirm its identity." - Ronny Chieng accurately distills what the rest of the world is thinking - except with a lot more glee outside of America.
i'm actually terrified to know but i'm trying to be hopeful
@@lukenzur1667 I'm terrified to know how America really think of its identity.
Step 1: admit there is a problem
As a Texan... I really don't want to see the confirmation of what I already know to be true, but we will.
Desi, Ronny, Roy, Dulce, Jaboukie ... and then there's Kosta. Kosta is the only crew there called by last name. LOL.
the black one
It's the gang f idiot's
Watch CollegeHumor's "Stop Naming Your Children Michael" video, and it will start to make sense.
Theyre cast theyre not crew
Pretty much all of them more talented than Trevor. Roy and Desi way more talented than Trevor.
Jaboukie is so beautiful and so smart. And the only one who mentioned empathy. Love you, man.
I'm not used to seeing Roy acting so normal.
Jaboukie is my favorite. Hands down. I hate that he stays quiet in this so much. He's the next generation and his words matter *says the 47 year old*
You're right! Why is jaboukie so quite?? I want to hear him!!
I appreciate that he says something...when he has something to say. So many folks just talk to hear their own voice or to fill in a quiet spot. He took his shots and they were all good ones in this talk. Well done to him.
i miss jordan klepper and Hasan Minaj on daily show...happy for them for their own show but i miss them
Klepper is a correspondent again as of December.
His name is HA-san MIN-haj, not ha-SAN mi-NAHJ. They pronounced his name wrong the entire time he was on the show.
I feel this
Shanti Abdumumin - That was his decision. Hasan didn't start using the proper pronunciation until midway through the first batch of Patriot Act episodes.
@@KiraBKADestroyerOfWorlds it's been pronounced as Hus-sin on his show by his staff, who are going out of their way to say it right.
This is the only late show I watch because I genuinely find everyone funny.
@Mohamed Hamzah Mohamed Osman Oh bullshit. They're not even moving in the same direction Stewart's show was. They're making it a new show. And people are loving it. (Barring the exceptions that make the rule)
@Mohamed Hamzah Mohamed Osman Do you know em personally? Then Don't assume shit. Comedic personas are very different to their real life people

I want to see Roy interview Samuel L. Jackson, go make it happen!
Mairsil Pretner I want to watch that too
Kinda wanna see that “how to fall” skit by Costa lol
I now want to hear about camels
Me too!
We need to know about feral camels!
Same
At least as an online exclusive or something
I walked away from this wanting to see Senior Camels in Australia taught how to fall...without getting hurt..., well, that and an even deeper respect for the whole show.
I love how intelligent they all are. They're all very thoughtful. It must be hard to put the persona on because they seem so serious.
It was so great to get a chance to see them as people beyond their performances. What a great group of people. Thank you for making the news bearable.
Ronny just slid pass the last question like a boss
True, I wanted them to get back to him. He's one of my favorites.
Lol, ronny
He's already interviewed Andrew Yang!
I love this team. And can we please take a moment to acknowledge how damn sexy Jaboukie's voice is?

I have a good friend who took the how to fall class and when she falls no injury! Everyone should take the class.
Stephanie Sylvestre
The last time I fell I broke my left arm in two places-I’m left-handed.
I did take some Judo when I was 7-8. It saved me many times since.
Jaboukie is adorable omfg when he mentioned his mom’s position and then giggled I laughed so hard HAHHAHHAAHAHA
Every correspondent should get a certain budget they can use specifically on a golden buzzer (pass Trevor) pitch. When the piece is announced it is announced as ---‘s golden buzzer pitch. That’s my pitch :)
Lizz Keiper Do you really feel like Australian camels would work? The point of the consensus approach is to inject perspective into the process. If someone can’t convince another single person on the show to run with an idea, it probably wouldn’t translate well to viewers.
This interviewer has the best segways. Her knowledge about the subjects is phenomenal. This kind of work is truly appreciated
13:45 my Siri went on when Roy said „serious“ 😂
Honestly, if Dulce Sloan were to get her own show, I would watch the ever loving sprinkles out of her. She's got such an enchanting presence.
Rakashael O'Morgan
She’s incredibly funny, wildly self-assured, and (imho) an actual goddess.
This was so needed. They are so genuine. It’s genius how they have to keep making satirical comedy out of the sad stuff happening around us. And the way they respect each other, the show and trevor and how hard they work for giving us great content. Plus they are hilarious af. Love them so much❤️❤️
I love Roy and I had no idea he plays such a predominant role in the production of the show
2:00 On falling school: That's basically the main thing you learn when starting judo, and bizarrely it is probably the most useful thing I learned as a kid. I honestly think it should be part of standard education. Simple things like pressing your teeth together (to keep from chipping your teeth or biting your tongue) and putting your chin on your chest (to keep from bashing the back of your head against the ground) prevent tons of potential injuries that can happen during this common event.
They do such a great job with the show that it's almost like they're different people here. And I love the way they approach things, especially Roy. I feel smarter listening to this and feel like I'm learning
Ronny’s face when Roy is talking though 😆
You hire the best people. This proves it.

As a foreigner watching (and enjoying) the Daily Show in Germany i'm shocked to read comments like "why do i have to see this show to be informed about this topic". Is the US so bad in telling political news on TV? Is there only Fox News out there?
Sometimes. They don't look at anything to deeply anymore. Quick clips then commercial. There are different independent news sources that are good, but they may be considered left wing. Sometimes you have right wing stuff. But both sides have crazy stuff too. The regular media is more about entertainment.
As a US citizen living in "the South", I regretfully confirm that our President has had significant success in sowing distrust in our oldest and most respected news outlets. Those "mainstream" providers, with their built in fact checking and commitment to integrity, still report the facts, but not in a way that is entertaining. For some, the lack of entertainment value combined with the general negativity of the majority of news worthy stories (looking at you Impeachment and Brexit) makes getting news from those old school providers an unpleasant chore, at best. TDS wraps up those very unpleasant stories in a wrapper which allows people to absorb the pertinent information about those important stories without the typical accompanying depression and anxiety.
I like to get news from the BBC, as I find their presentation to be less repetitive and to focus on facts without so much spoon feeding of context.
I would say that comedy has gifted news reporting with some much needed progressivism and as a result some things are best discovered /talked about on comedy shows
Most news stations in the US are subsidiaries of the same parent corporation. This way you get different shades of the same bullshit. They rarely tell the side the rest of the world sees on tv.
@@TheAaronBaird Isn't that a typical American issue:
everything (incl. news, docus, all kind of information) has to be entertainment, so everything is dumbed down as much as possible for higher ratings.
There's no in-depth coverage of anything anymore, because too many idiots might switch the channel...
Since WW2 the average IQ in the western world was generally rising steadily BUT a few years ago studies showed that for the first time the average IQ is dropping.
Now what might be the reason for that?
I love the current line up of correspondents. They are so very good at bringing laughter to serious issues
man, it was a surprise that roy’s voice is soooo calm. i love them all.
Comedy helps to weed out the b.s. the idea of highlighting a small point for comic relief but it brings out a different point about how something is looked at. The A B conversation looking at the C for comedy it's one of those ideas for remembering by looking at the comedy. It's a great show.
Dulce: "Iowa do something!"
Me: *Flashback to Iowa Caucus*
Me: How about never again? 0-0
i literally heard this before reading the comments great timing to me lol
Why do I get the feeling that Costa is the only one not playing a character at the show and just being himself?
This is an awesome look inside one of my favorite shows!!!
Roy and Ronnie are my faves
I luv yall so much! You guys keep me informed and make me laugh on hard days. One day, i hope to meet everyone at the daily show.
I wonder if Jaboukie realizes that he physically cringes every time Kosta speaks.
He doesn't tho goofy
Kosta is pretty tall, and his arm keeps whipping out next to jaboukie and since he's wearing glasses his peripheral version is blurry as fuk, which makes it easy to flinch at stimuli.
Jaboukie looks like he feels uncomfortable or out of place. :(
@@mariee.5912 It's probably his early correspondent interviews
@hollyrashell I also noticed some kind of discomfort/tension in his face, I have a feeling Kosta annoys the F outta him!
Wer is Jordan Klepper? He is the best on field pieces.
Disis Moi Maybe he is busy
He's not part of the show.
yeah he is
I don't think he has a permanent contract yet. He's only back for this season doing a specific segment.
He got his own show. But it got cancelled after a few months.
Jaboukie is fine!! And presents an air of calmness. We as watcher appreciate the diversity of this show.
I ADORE the correspondents, like. Seriously so much. Jaboukie is my fave fave but I do love them all.

Thanks to RWJ for answering the questions so seriously and thoughtfully. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the cast made me laugh a lot but Roy's sincerity balanced that out nicely. Sometimes comedians who are too busy riffing can get to be a bit much. ( like that one ADHD friend on sugar, you love em but damn!)
