My kids have never stepped foot in public school, fully homeschooled. The one issue I have is Voddie in the beginning not mentioning another very big issue. The issue of not being able to homeschool your children if both parents have to work to make a living. The cost of living is different in most places personal sacrifice only goes so far you can't homeschool out of a cardboard box. The system is designed currently to keep us enslaved, 2% of the population take chances and start their own businesses etc. This has to be addressed with maybe a plan on how we can make proper sacrifices. Because one sacrifice we don't want to make is the public school system where we sacrifice our own children

I'm so sorry, Carly. I wish I had known homeschooling was an option. If you think you can be responsible about getting your work done why not ask your parents if you can homeschool? I'm praying for your depression. God loves you and you are valuable.
I will pray for your situation and for your joy to be full. This passage has gotten me through a few situations I felt stuck in. 2 Peter 2:7-9 “and if he rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked (for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard); then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.”
Schools consume the students. Even after school they have homework, afterschool programs and sports. It leaves little time for family. And now many kids attend summer school too.
As one who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology, I completely agree with the statistics about teachers being the lowest scoring group in college. Which is one reason I believe teachers should be people who are experienced in the real world workplace. I’m glad I gained work experience before having and homeschooling my kids.

I wrote a song called Juhighnah. Junior High - Gehenah. "The bell rings and its time for sheol" "Jules Ferry's not one of the Apostles. I dont believe in his this gospel, representing a God who gave the condemnation before he gave the law." "Tell me to work hard or you will get nowhere, your work ethics and sayings, when the apropriate alright is its like working in a colemine, but, the only conection is the organisation has retracable structural roots in child labour." "So to be the bad one and get sent to failure so what is it, abadon."
What a wake up call! Thank you. I’m thankful my friend recommended this video. ‼️🚨I was alarmed when I collected old library books from the Christian Academy I graduated from and there were tons of books with millions and billions of years ago and typical public school education. My heart was broken to see this. Our boys will be guided by the Bible and our education MUST put God (the father of Jesus) first!
If you played this in a church, 90% of people would get up and leave. They would say "legalism" and "fundamentalism." You cannot take Christ too seriously.
God requires us to homeschool our children if it is at all possible. And if it is not currently possible, we are required to get ourselves into a position where it is possible. How do we know this? God told you to raise your children, and education is not peripheral to the raising of your children, it IS the raising of your children. If you are deliberately abdicating that duty to the state, and the state is training your children in a way they should not go, then you are guilty of sin; because whatever the consequences of your approach to the education of your children, you are responsible. Homeschool cannot and will not save the souls of your children. But it is necessary as the same because God requires you to be the one to raise your children. And the little bit of time you get with them in the evenings when they're already exhausted will never be enough to counter all of the propagandaizing and brainwashing that they sit under all day, even if you are completely consistent with spending that time with them. The fact of the matter is, schools raise your children. And they do not and will never love them like you do.
Your college? I'm interested, please explain further. My kid is so little still but I'm already thinking ahead about college and what that will look like for her.
We have no doubt that the Lord has called us to homeschool our 14 year old daughter who is about to begin her 9th grade year. She feels like she’ll miss out on a lot by homeschooling through HS. How can we help her to see the good things about homeschooling? She is the only one of our children left at home now, (our son graduated from public school), and so we will need to be intentional about getting her involved in a co-op and activities to keep from her feeling isolated. Any thoughts or advice would be very much appreciated! Thank you! 😁
Hi Tonja. Thank you for your comment. Honestly it may be hard to get her to see the good things about homeschooling to start with. But just hang in there knowing you are doing the right thing for her because the Lord called you to do it. Sometimes its not until children get older that they appreciate the decisions that were made by their parents for them. But my advice would be to make it as fun of an experience as possible. Play to her strengths. Do things that she would never be able to do if she attended public school. For example we used to take our children horse riding once a week. In the UK...this would never be possible if they attended public school. (And we often reminded them of this 😅) Keep it exciting. Don't become too rigid in your learning. One thing the Lord continues to remind me is that the most important thing is that their souls are saved...not that they can read, write and spell. So YES my children are bright and very well able....BUT the main thing is that they know the Lord and are saved. Stay around like minded people so that she can make and keep good godly friends. And just trust and be led of the Holy Spirit concerning her, as He knows her better than you do. ❤️❤️❤️ It is well. God's got you.

And The Serpent Smiled Bright young saints pour in through doors, Eagerly filling desks and chairs, Busily preparing books, paper and chores, They pause as all heads bow together in prayers. Children gathered together in his name, To give the Lord Glory, honor and fame; And the future to proclaim. And Jesus smiled. So the day begins. Slowly, quietly, as time goes by . . . “In the interest of fairness,” false prophets lie; A moment of silence replaces prayer; And soon, nothing at all. Dead air. Suffer not young children to Jesus anymore, Young saints are worn down as never before. The daily sacrifice has been removed, And Lo! A statue of Zeus stands there! And Jesus cried. So the day goes on.
No longer restrained, the serpent slithers in among the chairs, Smiling at the unprotected children sitting there. Softly, sweetly whispering, he sings: You will not soar on eagles wings. Instead you’ll learn of evil things. Babylon, O Babylon, looms so near; But children, you have naught to fear, For all that matters is you, and here. Forget the wars your fathers fought. Gratitude is no longer taught. Instead, on teachers’ desks a big red apple shines; Mesmerizing, erasing from young minds, God’s precious, wondrous promises of yore. The bell rings, and the loving Father long forgotten, Young saints are gone as orphans now pour out the door. So the day ends. Copyrighted 7-4-11 And the serpent smiled. Klyneal.

Some parents don't have the patience or temperament to teach their kids. Most families need dual incomes to make it today even though some could manage if they were better with money. It also depends on the state you live in. He is from liberal California. The teachers in the conservative states would have better values.
Wow just 4 years ago and the argument could be made that they have moved past secular humanism in the government schools and are now onto the new religion of wokism.
I like voddie but when he says people who ask about is that legal for homeschool he says that comes from sheep. Using sheep as negative. I would ask voddie to use a different term as we are sheep and the Lord is our shepherd and that is a good thing . So use another word voddie
The Nazis just came to America and got jobs in the medical and science fields. A bunch of Simon the sorcerers running around, nothing new. College professors and “experts” summed up in “professing to be wise, ever learning, but never coming to full knowledge of the truth”
One student in 13 was sexyally engaged in any way, by staff. Why are we not talking about school? We talk about Catholic s all the time, yes, its worse what they're doing.
That is a shocking statistic. We actually discuss this in one of our other videos (linked here: ruclips.net/video/iblSf2ENmi4/видео.html). Thanks for sharing.
I’ve watched this twice now. Agree with about 80% of it. I’d like to know where you get your statistics, especially homeschoolers scoring better on national test. Seems you’re painting a broad brush. I want to see the data for your claims. On another note, the audience laughing and jeering at general statements you make about Christian teachers and others is annoying and frankly condescending towards them. I know you’re preaching to the choir of a homeschool audience, so their reactions are to be expected but it’s still condescending when others are watching your video and it’s your message that you want heard and not their laughter or judgement.
Citing Deuteronomy 6 as a command to homeschool is twisting scripture. I love Voddie but this thinking is in error. Doesn’t mean homeschooling isn’t a great way to raise your children just means condemning anything else as evil is false teaching.
Ok protestant tone it down on the assurance of salvation and we straight 👏 the bible doesn't teach that. The Bible teaches " work out your salvation with fear and trembling", St Paul says "I do not even judge myself but the Lord judges."
Homeschooling is great. And it’s a great way to pass on Christian truth. But please do not teach the reformed, deterministic God of Calvin. Think: if that form of Christianity is true, it doesn’t really matter if they go to public schools or learn at home. They are elect or not. Once the kids grasp this teaching it breeds smugness or despair.
@@Mynameisjoof No true Scotsman, I know. I have studied the reformed dogma extensively, both in contemporary expression (MacArthur, Piper, Sproule, washer) and it’s historical roots (Augustine, Calvin, Edwards etc). And it’s actually not that complicated. It’s really just a paradigm that turns Gods love for all into a different message entirely. Frankly, there is no way for a “reformed” person to have any assurance of salvation. Limited atonement means there are people whom Jesus did not die for (maybe this includes me???). Perseverance of the saints means that only on one’s death bed can any confidence be grasped. We see many once fired up Calvinists who are now atheists - men and women with ministries who were once fully convinced of their “elect” status. Some call it effervescent faith. When I ask calvinists how they know they are “truly” saved, they point to their experience or “fruits” (works) as proof of their salvation. This breeds pride or fearful doubt. This may do for them, however, I rest with complete confidence in His gospel and Jesus’s offer and promise of salvation to all who believe in His life, death and resurrection and receive the gift of salvation. This indeed is a living hope! How presumptuous of me, they say. And, Mormon like, they urge me to fix my eyes on my works instead of on His. If you wish to continue to discuss this, can you refute the initial assertion: if my child is elect, it does not matter if I send him to public school or choose to school him at home. God, in His sovereign plan and according to His will and for His glory, will ensure that elect child is saved. And, for the rest, they have been doomed from the womb, reserved for His wrath. These passed over children can go to school on the moon for all it matters.
Neither side can point to book, chapter and verse - there doesn’t have to be one biblical option and the other one is sinful. Voddie has some good stuff and he is a great speaker but that doesn’t excuse taking your preference on something and trying to impose it as biblical. He throws out random examples of sinful teachers but how is that biblical or even the slightest bit related to children leaving the church.
@@sklanguage589 - I am very aware of the current problems in our public schools and am as alarmed as anyone. I guess my thinking is that it’s impossible to shield our kids forever and prepare them to handle it head on, and learn how to think critically. @@fndrr42 I don't understand. Either you are as concerned as anyone about CRT and sex ed OR you think leftist indoctrination is good for your daughter because she has to "handle it" and think critically. The woke teachings are either good or bad for her. It can't be both.
@@sklanguage589 - very interesting take. When did I ever say the teaching was good? I would say CRT is a toxic and dangerous ideology. My position is simply that I don't think it is possible to keep our children completely insulated so I have to trust she is learning how to differentiate truth from lies. I had a very positive experience witnessing to unbelievers in public school, as did my father before me. The schools are the starting point for how this stuff gets into all of society so it may not be for everyone but it is important for believers to participate.

Just prayed for you! If you believe homeschooling is the path that God is pointing you to, then I'd encourage you to move out of Germany, because whatever path He sends you on, will be better than the one that feels comfortable right now.
@@SkywalkerOne1977 thank you. This is also my belief and desire!
Move ❤
Definitely pray for the Lord to open the door for you to move away and have freedom to home school as the Lord would have you do. The Lord led the Israelites out of Egypt with a mighty hand, we serve the same God, He is the same yesterday, today and forever! Trust him, he will lead you to greener pastures if you pray and ask for his guidance. Then step out in faith.
Thank you for this and thank you Lord, this year the Lord really put on our hearts to homeschool and got us into wonderful fellowship with many home schooling families. I've struggled much the past few months settling in with this ,but God always has his plans and we need to listen ,obey and trust in his every move. I needed this much and know this is his Will for us
My kids have never stepped foot in public school, fully homeschooled.
Amen! I have no words, this message is so important for all parents to hear!!!!
Thank you! I've watched this now 3 times and have shared with several people who have watched with me. Blessings!
Thank you for sharing. It's a much needed message. 🙏🏽
Bless you.
I hope they aren't just watching, but applying it. Homeschool should be our first choice.
This talk aged very well.
Extremely well
Best teaching on this subject ever! Thank you!!

I've been homeschooling my four children for 2 years now. Soon it will be 5. 🥰
What a blessing. Stay strong, God is faithful to support.
sadly I’m 14 watching this thinking how depressed and tired I am. Teachers are so ignorant to kids, and I one. Teachers talked behind my back and and make me feel so unwanted there. Seeing how school makes a child feel is so wrong
This is the greatest most informative video I've ever listened to on why to homeschool children!!!!
Schools consume the students. Even after school they have homework, afterschool programs and sports. It leaves little time for family. And now many kids attend summer school too.
Wonderful! And so true! I homeschool for the same reasons!!!
Praise the Lord for the Truth.. Thank the man of God!
This is so informative!! Thank you for taking the time to release this into the world and invest in our families!!
As one who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology, I completely agree with the statistics about teachers being the lowest scoring group in college. Which is one reason I believe teachers should be people who are experienced in the real world workplace. I’m glad I gained work experience before having and homeschooling my kids.

Thankful for your ministry and your teaching with respect for the truths in Our Heavenly Father’s word. The way, the truth and the life-JESUS! Amen!
Would love to find a church with other homeschoolers and support from the church .
Churches sponsor most of the co-ops in our area. Maybe there's one near you?
Made 110% sense.... when you dig into it you can see why homeschooling is valuable
The fruit never falls far from the tree & in this case , Thank God . Last night I viewed a video featuring Voddie Sr. from the Mayo Clinic . It happened to be some of the best news I received in a long time . God bless you & yours . Jesus Christ 24/7 . 365 by the power of the Holy Spirit . Amen

What an amazing sermon. Wow.
Wow this is the first time I have seen Voddie Jnr, wow he is the spit of his dad, what a blessing, same voice, same facial expression, size height. Good heavens, WHAT A BLESSING, GOD CREATED HIM SO THAT IF HE NEEDS HIS DAD IN HEAVEN, VODDIE Jnr will adequately stand in for his Dad.
Bob Jones University has an excellent curriculum through their University Press. I homeschooled my children through them, and am now teaching my granddaughter through Bob Jones.
My homeschooled daughter is working on her PhD.
Amazing. Simply amazing. God bless you sir.
This! Is such a powerful sermon! Thank you 🙏
We thank God. The real value is in how our lives (and our children's lives) are transformed by our diligence to live out God's words.
Excellent!

‼️🚨I was alarmed when I collected old library books from the Christian Academy I graduated from and there were tons of books with millions and billions of years ago and typical public school education. My heart was broken to see this.
Our boys will be guided by the Bible and our education MUST put God (the father of Jesus) first!
This is incredible
So may kids are being save because of the cv19...they are out of the system!! Thank you God!!
If you played this in a church, 90% of people would get up and leave. They would say "legalism" and "fundamentalism." You cannot take Christ too seriously.
I hate that this is true 😔
Wow! Well put.
I thank God for Voddie 🙏🏻. I increase the playback speed on his videos though 😆

(And we often reminded them of this 😅)
Keep it exciting.
It is well. God's got you.
Legendary, almost as if he knew what would develop in the public school system these many years later.

I don't know how any Christian parent could listen to this and part 2 of this lecture and walk away still justifying public schooling for their kids. But sadly, the excuses abound.
Wondering if anyone caught where the statistics he stated are from? I want to have them handy 🙏🏾

He says that the curriculum question comes from sheep… So does that mean I don’t have to find a curriculum for my children I don’t have to have them tested by the county like my state says I have to? I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing for my children and if he is saying that they don’t need a formal curriculum at all that would make the weight on my shoulders, much lighter can somebody please clarify for me? I really appreciate this.
I wish I would have been able to homeschool my son. Caesar's system has won and my son is lost. So now what???
Get on your knees pray and bring him the word of God
Pray and share the truth in the ways you can! God is still sovereign
And The Serpent Smiled
Bright young saints pour in through doors,
Eagerly filling desks and chairs,
Busily preparing books, paper and chores,
They pause as all heads bow together in prayers.
Children gathered together in his name,
To give the Lord Glory, honor and fame;
And the future to proclaim.
And Jesus smiled.
So the day begins.
Slowly, quietly, as time goes by . . .
“In the interest of fairness,” false prophets lie;
A moment of silence replaces prayer;
And soon, nothing at all. Dead air.
Suffer not young children to Jesus anymore,
Young saints are worn down as never before.
The daily sacrifice has been removed,
And Lo! A statue of Zeus stands there!
And Jesus cried.
So the day goes on.
No longer restrained, the serpent slithers in among the chairs,
Smiling at the unprotected children sitting there.
Softly, sweetly whispering, he sings:
You will not soar on eagles wings.
Instead you’ll learn of evil things.
Babylon, O Babylon, looms so near;
But children, you have naught to fear,
For all that matters is you, and here.
Forget the wars your fathers fought.
Gratitude is no longer taught.
Instead, on teachers’ desks a big red apple shines;
Mesmerizing, erasing from young minds,
God’s precious, wondrous promises of yore.
The bell rings, and the loving Father long forgotten,
Young saints are gone as orphans now pour out the door.

Conservative state here: still bad.
It's almost like he's saying we lost World War 2

St. Paul was a child of Caesar and appealed to him for justice.
Thank you for your comment @Fndr. It is important that we teach the whole counsel of the word.
If we’re commanded to teach our children throughout the day and into the night- how can we do that when they’re away from us 7-8 hours of the day? :/
With all due respect, it seems like you have a poor understanding of reformed theology and the doctrines of grace
@@Mynameisjoof
No true Scotsman, I know.
You think that public school isn’t slightly related to leaving the church?
Research critical race theory and sex education in public school.
@@sklanguage589 - I am very aware of the current problems in our public schools and am as alarmed as anyone. I guess my thinking is that it’s impossible to shield our kids forever and prepare them to handle it head on, and learn how to think critically. Obviously there is a line with what I am going to accept my daughter being exposed to, there is a line and I am paying close attention to what she is hearing.
@@fndrr42 I don't understand. Either you are as concerned as anyone about CRT and sex ed
OR you think leftist indoctrination is good for your daughter because she has to "handle it" and think critically.
@@fndrr42 CRT is toxic, but my daughter goes to public school and be taught it because ________. She will handle it and think critically.
