Home churched as well, because after our third child we began to lose all support and encouragement within our church. We couldn't find one church where we were supported in our decision for me to be home as a mother, or parenting of many, or in home education. Our bible colleges and seminaries are leaving these principles behind for secularism and worldly 'success'. Leaving these godly family principles by the way side...but only at the expense of our future generations. Who should be emboldened and brought up within the church. Coincidentally, the few parents who are serious about their roles as Biblical warriors are left without training and support. So many are leaving the organization and beginning grass roots home based churches where they are returning to His whole word. But I am encouraged by your message here. Thank you for your boldness. It is much needed.

We are in our second year of homeschooling our daughter. She’s in 9th grade this year, and it’s going very well. I do however, have thoughts of why would we want to take her away from her public school friends, and school her at home where we have no other school age kids at home. Also, our local public school is covered with teachers and staff that are true, born again, believers. It’s known as the “Christian Public School” around the area. And yet, we still homeschool. We’re trusting that God led us in the right direction. Thank you for these msgs. All glory to God!

Remember He is a GOOD GOOD GOOD Father. So even when we "let Him down" by our calculations, He is NOT yet finished with us. He still loves us. Still forgives us. Still leads us. Your son's heart is in the Lord's hand and He is able to turn His heart in any way He desires. (Proverbs 21:1) So keep praying for your son. Keep being a living witness to him. Scriptures to meditate on: Psalm 91:4 Proverbs 3:5-7 1 John 1:9 2 Peter 3:9 Philippians 4:6 It will be well. It is well. ❤️

Sadly in our economy some women are basically forced to work to keep their families fed, clothed, housed. Sometimes the husband's pay isn't enough. It's not the mother's or father's fault. But it's what today's world is.

Also, school is gratuitous abuse. Example, I talked with someone and said "... Kuweit.." and he said he didn't know what it is. Someone else, I said "I was reading about the Peloponnese war." They say "What's that?" If I agree with this school business, how might I find it appropriate to be considering those people? And what I might have said? School is abusive, over knowledge such as spelling, maths, history, biology. Things aren't that way.
Of course it’s not always the best. Nobody’s saying “you’re sinning if you don’t have at least x children” But I know scores of couples with at least 4-5 children, and probably close to a dozen with ten or more. And they are doing fine, thank you. Childbirth is not an illness or a disease.

" Knowing the lord" (whatever that is) has no bearing on how well a student is at a given subject. Being a home schooled myself in a "christian" house, I am VERY happy I demanded public education at grade 7. Being home schooled in a christian setting leaves out fundamental sciences and basically attributes anything that could possibly go against what the christian bible says to satanism.

They’re still subjected to the mainstream curriculum even if the teachers are faith based .
We had worried about that too since our son is an only child. But extra-curricular activities helped with that.
