What Horror Characters Will Be Added To MultiVersus Next?

- Hey guys! Naterz here, and Jason was revealed for MultiVersus yesterday, and I've been thinking about horror characters that we could see in the future. So, in the video I go over horror characters owned by Warner that could get into MultiVersus

Sorry everyone, I had to blur part of the Pennywise portion. It was copyright claimed, and it was the only way to keep that segment in without cutting it out altogether.
I'll go with Pennywise as my main horror rep, but I can say I'd also root for Freddy Kreuger, Chucky, and Michael Myers.
I’d love to see Chucky and Michael as well! If they do get added, I look forward to seeing their model. With what they did with Jason, we have zero idea what they could look like!

Freddy and Ash for me. I’d also take some guests like Resident Evil characters.
Ash would be really neat. He would have such a cool moveset as well!
Pennywise, Michael Myers, and Xenomorph/Predator would be so sick
Predator would be so awesome! I’d love to see his character model, and moveset would be amazing
It would be cool if pennywises dead lights applied a debuff that when fully stacked, causes the other player to levitate uncontrollably for a few seconds.

I totally agree! I wanted to include those characters, but I haven’t watched the movies, so I wasn’t sure what to say for them
In terms of horror cartoon characters I'd like to see, I'd go with Victor and Valentino. Their show is super terrifying and explores a ton of monsters across Latin American culture so I'd love to see these two brothers react to every new horror monster.

I'd most likely see Dwight and The Trapper as DBD reps. And I think DBD x Multiversus would make sense due to both games involving multiverse crossovers.
personally I would love Jack from The Shining
He would have a really interesting moveset!
A Nightmare On Elm Street was the first slasher I ever watched so I might be a bit biased but its also my favorite slasher. Freddy Krueger would be a dream come true

The horror characters I want for MultiVersus include (not in ranking order):
1)Freddy Krueger
2)Chucky
3)Ghostface
4)Pennywise
5)Critters

For me I want Ash from Evil Dead and Sam from Trick r Treat
I really debated about adding Sam. I feel he is iconic, but I’ve never watched Trick r Treat so I didn’t know what to say about him. I would love to see him though!
Ash Williams should be in MultiVersus, no matter what!!

I doubt it'd be the first horror character they add but I'd LOVE to see Gabriel May from Malignant in this game, one of my favorite slashers from one of my favorite underated horror movies

Pale man would be really cool, but I think Faun would bring more to the game. In terms of moveset possibilities Faun just has so much more
Ash Williams. Evil Dead is owned by Warner Bros. and he got screwed out of being in Mortal Kombat so add him to Multiversus. And for a bonus, throw in the Knowby Cabin as a stage.
I forgot Evil Dead was WB when I made this. Otherwise, I totally would have included Ash
I feel that with Gremlins and Friday the 13th already well represented, we're definitely going to get at least a few more horror characters. Pennywise and Freddy Krueger seem to be the most obvious snubs that should be in, and personally I'd like the Martians from Mars Attacks to show up although it isn't as "horror-centric" as other movies (I think you covered them in a video before). Maybe have there be a stance change where they ride dinosaurs, that would be cool. While I don't think he has the chops for fighting, the Crypt Keeper is iconic and is definitely announcer pack material.
Personally, I've wanted Courage the Cowardly Dog as a semi-horror character. He isn't scary by himself but his show can get very disturbing at times. I don't think going up against Jason Voorhees could faze him.
I almost put the Martians in! They were actually in the original script, but I wasn’t sure if they were considered horror or not, so they didn’t make the cut.
Courage would be awesome! Him VS Jason would be really funny

I feel like Freddy Krueger and Pennywise are likely at some point. Audrey II would be really cool. I know that account has been around for quite some time and I know they would absolutely lose it if Audrey got put in. There are a few characters I haven't heard of before in this video which is pretty cool. I like your ideas for the various characters' movesets.
Glad I could introduce you to some characters! That is one of my goals with these videos. I love raising awareness for characters not many people know about.
They could also take some inspiration for Beetlejuices moveset from the cartoon. It did have 4 seasons so there's definitely a lot more there to draw moves from.
Yeah I'd rather get David over Edgar but wouldn't be surprised if they did Edgar instead.
The cartoon would probably give a lot more options for a moveset. I’d bet the devs would definitely take it into consideration
Surprised you never mentioned the Terminator! I guess there could be an argument that he’s more action than horror
Terminator is definitely a character I’d love to see. I didn’t think of it being horror, but people keep mentioning it. I would have totally included him had I thought of it.

Chapters would help this video a lot, trying to skip sections for characters I'm unfamiliar with and don't wanna spoil anything about is very tricky

Personally, I think Freddy is the most likely horrror character we'll see after Jason and before Beetlejuice, I mean, there was an entire film about him and jason clashing, so it is very likely that because of FVJ, Freddy will make it in.

I think the theme was villains not necessarily horror. So, given leaks Poison Ivy, Wicked Witch of the West will probably be in the line up. Maybe Kong as well.
I know the theme of this season was villains. I’m just talking about some horror characters that are possible. I actually uploaded a video last week on just specifically villains. Consider giving it a watch!

I think pennywise would be a perfect next horror character for multiverses because when you think about Warner bros owns pennywise so why not that and also I would love to see both joker and pennywise team up in 2v2s.

We could try to work something out in the future! As of right now, I’m struggling with time to even put out my own videos. I think a collab would have to be something I do a bit further down the line. We can definitely try to do something though!
I love your videos but lord not everything should be smash. If I had a nickel for every time you made a smash comparison/move idea...
I don’t mean to compare everything to smash, it’s just the game I’m most familiar with. I get an idea on how a character could work in my head, and I try to figure out how I can express that idea best. Comparing characters play styles to a smash characters seems easiest to me. Sorry if it’s excessive. I know MultiVersus is it’s own game, and I don’t mean to be comparing it. Thanks for watching and saying you love the videos. It really means a lot.
