What Would The Ideal MultiVersus Roster Look Like?

- Over the past couple weeks I have been revealing characters that I want to see get into MultiVersus over on twitter. So, I decided to make a video on it! These are just a bit of characters that I want to see, not most popular picks or anything like that.

This is such a solid list. I’m really hoping most of these characters make it in!
The Mask is one of my most wanted characters
He has so much potential for a moveset! I really hope they add him
I really hope that someone comes to voice him. But I'm gonna be surprised if Jim Carrey comes
Honestly, blackhat would go hard. I just hope they add a final smash like mechanic
Black Hat would definitely be a very unique fighter!

As someone who has Yogi Bear in my top 5. I'm pleasantly surprised how many videos I see on here that mention him in a roster discussion. Really gives him a boost of possibly happening
It feels like it would be wrong not to include him. He’s definitely one of the bigger Hannah Barbara names

There are so many great characters on this list. I really hope most of them make it in!
Paul's shield could work in a way where if you hit it with a fast attack, it blocks but if you use a slow attack it ignores but doesn't break the shield

I think that there should be a few more cartoon network characters, but it's your opinion.
I sadly didn’t watch enough Cartoon Network characters to be able to form connections with characters. I included a few, but yeah probably not as much as there should have been
If multiversus is gonna make another joke character, they gotta add dog welder.

I want Animaniacs the most. But I’m a huge Steven universe fan and spinel would be really cool

That would be awesome!
I think we'll be getting the Animaniacs/Warner Brothers. The Warner Bros. Water Tower is confirmed a playable stage, so PFG I'm sure has the gang on deck.
Speaking of villain rep, I'd be elated to see Cheryl Blossom from Riverdale. I know Archie Comics has no ties to Warner Bros., but Riverdale the show is another story. Plus, I think we would have another great ninja/assassin character. And Madelaine Petsch could give the character a comedic twist for Multiversus.
I feel that with a catalog as big as WB's they could bring the roster up to 100 and I'd still be dissatisfied, and many people would share my opinion as well. If this game succeeds or at least finds its footing, then I can see this being the celebration of the company it wasn't during the beta. Many character hints and newcomers make this seem like they're starting to learn from their mistakes.
It will be very interesting to see what the games roster looks like when it is done adding characters. Personally, I think there is already a great selection of characters to choose from, and I’m excited to see what they work up next!
5:19 Tom and Jerry: 🗿
While yes Tom and Jerry are a small and big (ish) fighter, Max would be around the size of the Iron Giant, and Darla would be maybe Stripes size. So it would be much different compared to Tom and Jerry

Time for me to once again redo my Multiversus Suggestion list.
Tracy Turnblad (Hairspray) (Tank) Almost all of her attacks would be based around dance moves, One of her special attacks would be getting out a can of hairspray which would unleash a cloud of hairspray material which could cause opponents to take damage, Her stage would be the set for the Corny Collins show where a medley of songs from the 2007 movie would play.
King Kazma (Summer Wars) (Assassin) His attacks would be combatant moves as was seen in his original movie, his stage would be the fighting stadium in OZ, and Love Machine would make for an awesome boss battle.
Parzival (Ready Player One) (Mage) Some of his attacks could be based on the movie he’s from and others could reference retro video games from companies Warner Bros owns like Pac-Man in the Super Smash Bros games. Art3mis could be an alternate unlockable character like Fern, Cake The Cat or Uncle Shagsworth and his stage would be the racing level in the Oasis from the movie and would function like one of the F-Zero stages in one of the Super Smash Bros games.
I Am Weasel & I R Baboon (I Am Weasel) (Bruiser) Weasel and Baboon would be a duo fighter like Banjo And Kazooie from Super Smash Bros Ultimate and their charge up attack would be Weasel jumping into the air with his finger pointing up shouting “I Am Weasel!”. For their stage, we could either go with an obscure online flash game they starred in called “The World Has Gone Bananas” OR we could go with one of the sets for Cartoon Network’s Friday Night programming.
What would you say to those?

@@Naterz_ Being someone who watches Thorgi’s Arcade’s Build A Roster videos, I’m one of those geeks that believe that ideal crossover fighting games shouldn’t just have the popular or familiar faces, they need the freaks and lesser knowns to get everyone talking.
@@Naterz_ I also had an idea for The Conductor aka Amelia Hughes from Infinity Train being in the game as an Assassin Type fighter.

God, hearing Copernicus gave me so many memories of me eating each week for each episode of Unicorn Warriors. I honestly feel bad forgetting about it, but I hope he does get in!
I think he has a ton of moveset potential! Any Unicorn character would be really neat in my opinion

I think lord vortech would be a great fit as he is the perfect character for the big bad of the story mode. I mean he even would fit always escaping as he just opens a portal. Also he did come back in post credits, also in real life it’s been getting near to a decade since his defeat with the release of dimensions and maybe he was planning this all that time. I just think it would be good for story. Also I think scarecrow could be a good fighter I mean imagine fear toxin and it being a mix of a ton of versions with the scythe, gauntlet, chain, broken shovel, and the fear toxin.
Those are really good points! I’d absolutely love to see Vortech. Lego dimensions was my favorite game for a long time, so I’d be super hyped. Scarecrow is a neat idea!
@@Naterz_ I mean vortech can be the nothing character as I wouldn’t be suprised if the cliff hanger was him returning and maybe the hand was his old self in a time loop of sort.

Me personally, for an underrated character pick Ruby Rose from RWBY, she'd be a great assassin character with her scythe sniper hybrid and her semblance

Lmaooo not tryna hate but out of the 44 u did, i only see 4 good ones. Its too many secondary and tertiary characters the public wouldnt care about with a huge lack in 2000s and 2010s cartoon network stars
This is perfectly understandable. I didn’t grow up having Cartoon Network, so it’s sometimes hard for me to pick characters from it. The goal of this video was to introduce people to characters they may have not heard about, and show that Warner has some characters that could be fun that people don’t expect. I wasn’t trying to make a super solid list of banger picks. Just some fun ones I had thought about.
I am curious, who would you be interested in seeing?
@Naterz_ Yes a lot of ppl havent been pleased with the release of characters like Stripe and Black Adam (even Agent Smith) because truthfully nobody cares too much about them so we need the heavy hitters like Mordecai and Rigby, Gumball and Darwin, Ed, Edd, Eddy, Kids next door Number 1 and Father, Billy, Mandy and Grim Reaper, Chowder, Snitzel. With the stars in it will appeal to a broader audience to keep the game popular, and then u hit it with the secondary charcters

bro why are u trying to fill the roster with all these random gimmick characters. If any devs are watching this to get an idea of what fans want, PLEASE ADD characters that are actually popular before adding the random garbage. by popular i mean protagonists and their villains. not the random garbage that dont fit.

It won’t be for everyone and that’s okay. I tend to like more obscure characters. A video on purely popular picks would look much different.

@@Naterz_ I’m on my phone at the moment so I won’t list anything long really. Just an example. Like I want mortal kombat characters. Personally I’d want characters that are relevant. Like sub zero, scorpion, shao khan, Liu Kang for example. Judging from your list, it’d be like wanting mavado and meat (mortal kombat characters) over the 2 ninjas. Like no please nooo.

@@sonic-bb that’s completely fair! I’m honestly surprised I haven’t gotten more of this criticism yet. One of my goals is to introduce people to new characters they haven’t heard of. Most of the time, they will be obscure. I tend to have a lot of fun with it. I do hope they add the popular picks, and people get who they want, but I do hope we have some more obscure picks sprinkled in as well.
