You noticed Emppu passing Floor and Marko with his hands up and waving.
He was „saying“: See, I am doing nothing
To understand that, you‘ve got see, how he pranked Floor earlier that gig during „I Want My Tears Back“:
At about 45 secs you can see Empuu talking to Troy telling him what he is going to do. At about 4:00 you see Empuu go behind Floor and turn down the volume or turn off her in-ear monitor. Then she reaches behind her. The funniest part is at about 4:30 when Empuu crosses the stage again. Floor turns around to watch him so he can’t do it again. Here you see the height difference between Floor’s 6’1” in heels and Empuu’s 5’3”. They laugh at each other.
Floors small growls in this song, Floorgasm every damn time!
Some of these Wacken videos are uploaded by fans and don't have more than 720P quality. Hope the craziness gets sorted out in your life. When you listen to shows that are film indoors the orchestra and choirs are louder in the mix.

Marko has great menacing tone here , and Floor Growls ( only few will notes this ). Plus , this song has a crazy Van Halen Vibe to it ( Van Halen - Aint Talkin' Bout Love comes to mind ).
This song took me several listens and deep dive at first , and now I listen this song daily . Love this song !!!

Watch when Marco and especially Emppu walk behind Floor, often they will grab for her in ears. You know eventually Emppu (the Elf lord) is going over Floors knee. If Emppu is scared, I'll happily take his place.

This is a straight up banger! Loved Emppu being his goofy self along with extra shredding!
Another song with Marko and Floor back and forth is Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean.
And for an.older tune, ft. Anette, but mostly sung powerfully and passionately by Marko...check out the original video for Bye Bye Beautiful...its another great rocker!

While the Wacken recording is doubtlessly one of my favorites, I fully agree regarding the mix. The symphonic parts, including the choir, would have benefited from being slightly higher in the mix. I think that's very apparent in songs like "Ghost Love Score" and "Storytime" as well. Heck, some reactors didn't even notice the choir in the Wacken performance of GLS!
For real! It's just so low and its such a big part of what makes these guys so special 🔥

Well, being outside with 80K or so people, you lose a lot of those parts, and it can be a pain in the butt to mix it, so that was probably why. There are actually earlier harmonies that didn't get put in on some songs and I like Tarja's version at end of an era because those parts are often more upfront, but like with Elvenpath and stuff, they were playing smaller venues where it's easier, or they actually got others that would come do harmony, like on Sleepwalker Eurovision 2000. I don't think the backup was part of the band. She blended nicely though :) Upload when it's best for you, we'll all be here
