So much love hearing this legendary band. So, here’s a story: First off, I grew up with Led Zepplin. Moving forward. Our daughter went to the University of Texas at Austin. Robert Plant was living in Austin (Texas) at the time. Anyway, my daughter Adrienne (born in 1992) was in downtown somewhere. As she walked down the sidewalk to her car, she saw Robert Plant. He was wearing a t-shirt, khaki shorts, and tennis shoes. He was carrying a box of books. They stood at the intersection waiting until it was safe to cross. She was standing next to him and said “Hey young lady, how is your day?”. She replied “It’s good”. She knew exactly who he was. And that was it. They crossed the street and parted ways. Adrienne had no intention of bothering him for an autograph. Good for her. I mean, what does it matter anyway? Another thing. So Plant lived in a modest house in an older neighborhood. He was known to do a bunch of Halloween decorations and would sit on his front porch handing out treats to trick-or-treaters
Led Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time. I’m so glad that you are doing this on your RUclips channel. By the way, the graphics and visuals are incredible.
Hi Rebeka, a bit of Zeppelin live in their pomp, what's not to like! Also made better by your great reaction and enjoyment in this video. Keep on rockin' beautiful girl!
Just look at the swagger on stage. A band that knew it had the whole world in the palm of its hands. This is an incredible performance considering it was at the very end of a two and a half hour show at the end of a 3 month USA tour in the middle of Summer.
I feel this performance (MSG 73) more than any other captures what rock stardom is. The swagger and confidence, the music and the musicianship together. I can think of few others that combine all of that which we can still watch today (Stevie Ray Vaughan "Live at the El Mocambo" is probably another for me. The Stones have to be up there, but I haven't seen such extensive video footage that really captures it so well, just the odd snippet).
The ocean is a metaphor for the "sea of heads" faced by lead singer Robert Plant. In the last line, the "girl who won my heart" refers to Robert Plant's daughter Carmen, (born 11/21/68), who was three years old at the time of recording. Another great reaction!!
I was a little too young to have gone to this show. Back then parents didn't send their 12/13 year olds off on trips like this. It would be another 7 years before I hit my first concert at Madison Square Garden, it was Queen, so there's that. The 3 nights they played the Garden were incorporated in to "The Song Remains the Same" a wild ride of a movie.
I'm a bit aged. I seen them in the late 70's. It was an awesome time because the concert tickets was cheap and there was concert's everywhere. The Zeppelin show was number one until l seen Pink Floyd Animals tour. All the talent that was touring was unreal.
4 youngsters covered this song in Las Vegas. A world class (Already officially in the top 500) drummer, 12 year old Yoyoka Soma, with 9 year old Bassist Ellen, and 2 teenagers Mateo and Eva on Guitar and vocal. If you think this is a hard song you'll be impressed by the job they do. As a lifelong fan of Led Zeppelin, I was. Even if not for the show, take a look. Love the passion. Have fun.
To me the live performance of a band is the true test. You gotta review live performance of "The Song Remains The Same/The Rain song" from 1973. So diverse, such an incredible live performance of two songs played back to back, from The Group of all Groups.
He can still rip it though, but granted he doesn't do this everyday anymore. He still keeps doing vocal exercises but tries not to strain himself till a gig.
Awesome - the song and the reaction in equal measures :-) You're now getting to some of their lesser known songs Becks - and finding out that they are just as good! xx
Back around 2014 there was a TV Competition show called "Sing Off", for Acapella groups. Three fantastic groups emerged from that show..." Home Free" which lean towards country music, Pentatonix who are more mainstream and pop, and VoicePlay who are very theatric. You should react to all three at some point but since you like Johnny Cash, please check out Home Free doing "Ring Of Fire"...Or, VoicePlay doing a cover of The Dragon Born Comes, from the video game Skyrim. They get into the costumes of the warrior characters they play. Their bass singer Geoff (Jeff) Castellucci starts it off with a C#1 Growl that gets your attention. Thanks!
they do all the songs from Houses' better live, Robert said they were experimenting in the studio with the albums sound (speeding up the vocals slightly) but due to a contract deadline they had to release Houses and didnt have time to fix it or re-record it. Hes not pleased with it, neither am I. He sounds like he's on some Helium on some songs (song remains the same). Really good progressive album though with some fantastic songs. (Rain song!)
@@verginithe That's really interesting. This was the first Zep album I heard and Plant's voice put me off them for quite some time, until I saw the movie. Then I was hooked, and this is now one of my favourite albums.
Jimmy Page's True Gift was His CompositionaL TaLents It was Never about Guitar SoLoing Chops, but His ability to Create the Perfect Guitar Parts He's the ONE Player-Composer that would be the Biggest Loss to the Rock World, if He hadnt Existed >Immensely Influential ! And Rebeka was just a GLeam in Her Grandfather's Eye when this song was Out ] : --))
Wow, that was a great live recording. On that album Jimmy Page was overdubbing multiple guitars on every track. But live he just plays so hard it sounds as full as the studio recording. Great review!
Jimmy Page I think said the riff in Reelin' In The Years was the best he'd heard. All I know is I'm glad they all put out this music in great quantity when I was a kid.
The best reaction only rebekka !!!!!!!!!!! Stop!!!!!!! No Copy rebekka reaction ...no imitation!!!! The best reaction and the best beautiful woman Is rebcis😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💚🌡️🥴
I was never a Led Zeppelin fan in my younger years. It just wasn't my kind of music. But I am giving it some of my attention now at being 61. Just listening out of curiosity. Hahaha. This song, to me, anyway is ok I guess. This young lady is fun to watch shaking her head like she's doing. Good reaction.
Zeppelin never had a live version of any of their songs that was better than the original studio release of the same song. Your experience would be even better, with the original studio release version.
HI WONDERFUL REBEKA, PLEASE REACT TO HER MAJESTY DIANA ANKUDINOVA, IS THE BEST SINGER AND PERFORMER OF ALL TIME OF ALL TIME OF ALL TIME, IS THE GODDESS OF VOCALITY, IS THE GODDESS OF GOOSEBUMPS, IS LIKE MARADONA AND MESSI, IS TOTALLY UNIQUE, IS TOTALLY VERSATILE, IT IS A PATRIMONY OF HUMANITY, IT'S MY IDOL.PLEASE REACT 🙏🙏🙏 FROM ITALY SICILY 🇮🇹💪❤️🤝🇷🇺

Really cool story!

Zeppelin does have the most interesting songs!
"We've done four already but now we're steady
One, two, three, four!!!"
I was 8 when they first came out.
Hi Rebeka...Love your hair .You look gorgeous ...Gotta be at your best for Zep ...I get it .
You are stunning and my favourite reaction channel 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I will keep on watching x PS Hair is on point 🥳
Gotta love the groove of the main riff that alters from a 4/4 to a 7/8 time signature.
the ocean is awesome
If I had to choose only one band to listen to the rest of my life, it would be Led Zeppelin. Most versatile band ever and so much talent.
Totally agree...saw them in '73, it changed me ..
Rock. For all the right reasons.
“The Song Remains the Same”, live is even more awesome in my opinion. Would love to see that reaction.
MSG 1973 version
Into the Rain Song
Along withthe rain song in continuation.
One of my favorites!
Great reaction n hair ! Fabulous
Rebeka great job with your reaction to The Live performance of The Ocean from Led Zeppelin from "73 .

Led Zep is a drug by itself......
I think you're gonna enjoy LedZep's Trampled Under Foot

They are magnificent live!
Led Zeppelin. What else can you say? Nothing.

Can’t go wrong with Zeppelin!! Check out Immigrant Song live 1972. John Bonham wears the drums out on that one 🥁 Another great reaction 😊
Yes, they annialate the music on that one...in a good way.( to say the least.)
Thank you.:)
Looking fantastic, Rebeka!
Beautiful!
Great job sweetie!

I really enjoy watching you and seeing how Led Zeppelin gets into your soul and moves you. Wish you'd been around to go to their concert with me!
Yeah, I think she would be like a template for the perfect concert date, lol.
1973 Led Zeppelin is when the human race reached its peak.
This was a time WHEN GIANTS WALKED THE EARTH 🌎 LED ZEPPELIN ❤
Love your channel and love how you rock!
Love your video's , i do believe you are born 50 years to late , a child of the 70's . Keep it up :)

Dead Can Dance - The Ubiquitous Mr. Lovegrove, live at the Gibson Amphitheater 8-14-12... please see this.
Gorgeous and you rock out❤
And if I have not said it before, I love watching you get into the music.
this version is fantastic!
Were a single song and performance to be used to define 70's arena rock, this one would be perfect. Great choice!
Thank you.:)
Hey Chair Dancer you cant go wrong with LZ , I have seen them twice once in L.A. and in Seattle. Loved t he reaction as always
Thank you.:)
Hell yeah Rebeka! Love your reaction. Such a killer groove in this song. One of my favorites ever! You are awesome and you look amazing. 🙂🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you.:)
Anything from their 1970 Royal Albert Hall show is amazing. Roberts voice was at its prime in 1970.
He can still rip it though, but granted he doesn't do this everyday anymore. He still keeps doing vocal exercises but tries not to strain himself till a gig.
Awesome - the song and the reaction in equal measures :-) You're now getting to some of their lesser known songs Becks - and finding out that they are just as good! xx

Think this live is better than the studio. Love this song from "Houses of the Holy".

I liked when Spin Magazine named this simply the BEST ROCK RIFF EVER.
I mean, yeah. If it's not this one, it's another Jimmy Page riff.
Jimmy Page I think said the riff in Reelin' In The Years was the best he'd heard. All I know is I'm glad they all put out this music in great quantity when I was a kid.
I’ve always thought this was one of the greatest riffs ever! Criminally underrated
traveling riverside blues is their bst non-album song. check it out.
Your eye make-up is beautiful
Jimmy Page '73 at the top of his game strutting his swag up and down the MSG stage 🎸💥💥

You should react to Whole Lotta Love from the same concert.
Hi Rebecca ❤
Why do some videos get blocked? What is the point of not letting people are them. Well the music is great anyway.
Would you react to No Quarter live by Zeppelin please at madison square garden? Thanks!
It would be great if you could react to Guns N' Roses' Welcome to the jungle from the 2016 selects
Buenas tardes, me gustaría poder ver una reacción tuya de la banda YES con el tema Turn of the century o Awaken, muchas gracias desde España

You nailed it when you said how predictable today's music is. That's why I don't listen to ANY of today's music.
Still looking cute.
I didn't watch due to blurred video. The viewing is just as important as the watching for Led Zep, in my opinion.
And the award for RUclips's best and most easy on the eye reaction video poster goes to...
Shit, I hope my missus doesn't read this.
Thank you.:)
This woman is HOT. GREAT song.
Zeppelin never had a live version of any of their songs that was better than the original studio release of the same song. Your experience would be even better, with the original studio release version.

Time for The Immigrant Song from Australia,1972 !
I understand if you can't show video for copyright so instead of having a distracting, blurred out box, maybe just react to the album version.
