Jungle Bush Quails

These small species of Quails...quite common in Jungles of India...but not easily seen since they are so shy.
Was absolutely overjoyed to watch them climb down steadily into the valley....checking each step as they go.....Eventually they reached the waterhole after a good 20 minutes or so.
The Juveniles/Females were the first to drink. Note the two males taking turns as a sentry high on the rock while the others drink. When one male came down the other took his place.
Absolute Joy to watch and document this.
