surprisingly much better. more investments and growth. people are mostly free. on the other hand, inequality is on the rise, exploiting labour market and of course tax tax tax
Not "mostly" but as an albanian I can tell the democracy has high standards, the country is moving forward and for us, communism is only a creepy nightmare. My parents lived that period, and nowadays they are proud that Albania is a NATO member, soon a EU member, the GDP has increased a lot and high quality/standarts of living ❤😊

They don't equate critical thinking, obviously, and then, instead of reaching out to other explanations, they jump to religious ideas to explain everything, leading them down Nowhereville.
It's like reading Harry Potter (fellow Jewish brother who plays Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe, and he's a fellow non-religious person, like most of us Jewish people) filled with some truths (like anything), and they are engulfed in the story while believing it's reality. The idea of questioning life outside of Harry Potter becomes illogical, and even blasphemous to them.

Leaving aside all of this, Albania has a pretty culture and landscapes and speaks such a unique language. As a Brazilian, we share this sort of economic issues, inherited from the Military Dictatorship, where plenty of intelctuals and professors against the rulement were expurged, unfortunately some guys here wanna put back this nonsense. As matter of the fact, I think the true history of our nation must be taught with no triumph and romantism, just the true and anything more. Maybe no one is going to read this. I just want to state my word and my opinion.

Our relations go back since 1961. growing up as a kid i remember me and my dad watching Brazilian team in the world cup. i knew each player at the time and was fascinated by what they had to offer. there is a great number of muslim community in brazil , mostly arabs and we love the support that your nation has given to Palestine eventhough this world is run and threatened by evil Zionist. this is actually true. most brutal it was in albania romania and few other countries. a bit like north korea today. but the west should have intervened an topple the regime. other foreign nationalls including italian, russian and polish were held in prison . but europe was tired of wars and instead they let albanians rot in these camps. sad
