The smallest time measure is 1 tic or 1 frame. An action is performed in 1 frame minimum and more than 1 can occur at once. I'm assuming that half a button press means holding it, some action would be active constantly, although only the first tic matters. Therefore, it's possible, if the spawn of the map is the same size of the hitbox of the player and the next map change is 1 hammer unit away.
Ill try to RE EXPLAIN THIS (Edit) Lets get the basics. In game we have Cordinates, For example 999/999/999 X Y Z. These cordinates determinate the player position in a 3 dimensional Space. Level warp is an Abuse of commands that allow a player to change from a level to another with cordinates taken from somewhere else in the past map. For example 0a1b0 to 0a1b1. To pass from the first level to the next you touch a trigger wich leads to a console command that changes the level. Now in this run They Use the WAIT command, This allows to make all Commands wait until the Wait command is over, Ussualy some ticks, Now if we use a bind that makes a lot of Wait commands you can make a Change level trigger take place for example 10 seconds later. Now the trick of the run is that between the bind command there is a Save file load command that allows us to change to go back to any area you saved. So bassicly they do this. They go through the level and Make a save file at the cordinates 457/297/378. Before they touch the level change trigger they use the bind Whit a LOT of waits and a Saved file load command between those, Now they touch the trigger making a command pop up, But it has to wait till the Wait commands are over to Process. The Save file load command will send you back to the cordinates 457/297/378 and then the wait commands will end will finish and the Level change command takes place. NOTE: When changing levels your Cordinates are the same as before, It means that it will load the level but not move the player from the area. So now the level loaded and now here is the tricky part, if you managed to get your cordinates match with an In bounds area of the next level, You level warped.

Raven His latency cheat stopped working. I played him in MM. Watched his stream to see what was up. He can counterstrafe past a wall and he sees you waaaay before you see him. Really weird effect. Probably why he has opponents muted all the time. For the record, I enjoy his videos as they are fun to watch. Cheating or not. They're all well made. He's also a great entertainer.

That moment when the renasonse cascade broke physics just enough for Freeman to physically appear in All the levels at the same time... In fact... The cascade was Soo powerful that Gman had to intervene!
It took them 3 mounth to edit to not feel the pain of checking and editing every frame since they are using 1000 But It can be edited in 18 hours for hard work.
Not really considering this is a major bug performance, instead 20 min run goes the real way and probably no one will ever beat that time without using the warp bug, that is still glory for him. This run in any case transform the hl speedruns in general about finding more hiper-break-bug than actually finding tactics and skills, but still even with the major bug there is still a lot of work. But for me is not gonna be pissed off considering that now is like there are two categories. Doing the quadra way or breaking space time with major bugs. There arent on the same side.

Gordon was equipped with a weapon for only ~10 seconds.
When you operate on this level, weapons are obnoxiously slow.
They used whole 6 seconds to get the weapons, too. Might be room for optimization.
