Hell yes! They have incredible talents, and they will go far! They are the first band to make me wish I were in the music biz so that I could help promote them.
They did go to Warped Tour this year. So it's a start.
iloveyourbacon I’m not sure what warped tour is but I know they’ve been at this for at least seven years so I’m glad they’re FINALLY starting to get more opportunities! I’ve loved them since I saw I heard Bridges in a homestuck video in 2014!!

To everyone saying too bad they went pop, you should not be surprised. If they had pop sensibilities before, it's only natural if they just went out all pop. Besides, this felt like a good natural progression for them. Really good song!

I agree. They didn't go "all out pop", but they are following their passion and their instincts. Synesthesia is just as original as For Now.

I love the old CML but we must to understand that they have grown. Mercedes and Phoenix decided to change the singing style and now I just respect it.

Your english is better than most english people that use youtube lol. One small thing you probably shouldn't have used the infinitive of understand in your first sentence. More grammatically correct variations would have been "... we must try to understand..." or "we must understand..."
I dont know why bands always decide to throw away their awesome unique style to make music that may attract a wider audience but is basically what everyone else is doing
I agree that bands do often do that way too often. However, I think in CML's case you have to consider just how young they were when they began creating music.Their decision to change was certainly part decided but a lot of it is due to their growth as people. Their more mature, gone through difference experiences in life and that certainly changed and shaped their music.
Wes Snyder I'd argue that this is more about pandering than maturing. but I'm not gonna fault them for wanting to get on the radio and subsequently rich.

They sound the same to me, just a sad type of song in a way. But if they did change their style, its only to get more fans, it doesn't matter if there's way to many bands doing this very often, we live in a world where pop culture is the strongest genre for this generation. Where Country is second or tied (even country pop is big today), so if they changed their style, just trying to notice more. CML will eventually go back to their "old ways". They all nearly do eventually.
I understand you wanted to show a melancholical face to tell us in the video, that's great! That tells you are humans and it is a personal song... When I heard the song for the first time... I knew it has a lot of potential, and a huge load of feelings that is reflected in this beautiful video. I was really put off by this song and the new Synesthesia album, but after giving it some time and giving the whole album a listen, i honestly love the album dearly. You're sound may be different, but the drums remain, the voice remains, and the heart of the lyrics remain. Amazing songs you guys made really!

Honestly this is one of my favorite songs of theirs of all time. I love ALL of their albums, and honestly I never want them to stop doing music that THEY enjoy. Their passion in their music is what should/does make us like them.
