Happy Sunday maya, thank you for this video as a mom of a almost 1 year old, it can be very hard balancing everything and so I can only imagine how you feel at times being a mommy too 2 under 2 and a lot of people don’t understand that this is a full time job that never ends. And at times I find myself losing my patience and even faith being a mother but I know that god has me and I have to just keep pushing and keep my faith ❤🙏🏽🙌🏽

I just wonder, do you feel like Javaughn does enough in terms of chores around the house and in parenting duties? And do you ever feel resentment when you feel like he isn't meeting you halfway? Im recently stepping into my walk with God. I want to order my bible, but I’m not sure where to start. Can you do a video on how to read the Bible, where to start, how to take notes, etc.?
Personally, I would say start with John. From there you can learn about our Saviour and the importance of His Cruxifixction. Or even Matthew, which focus’ on what Jesus said! Then after John / Matthew maybe Acts, Colossians, Galatians, Philippians or James. But do ask God what HE wants you to read. In terms of note taking, I would say since you’re starting off with John, read it through and ask God what He wants to reveal to you, then if any verse / passages stand out use the SOAP method that Maya mentioned. SOAP stands for - Scripture, Observation, Application and Prayer. First with S(Scripture) Write down the specific scripture(s) that God put on your heart from your reading. Observation - What is it that you learned from that scripture? What do you think God is revealing to you. Application - How can you apply this scripture to your day-to-day life. Prayer - Write down a prayer regarding this verse. Ask God to help you navigate a lifestyle surrounding the verse. Always remember to pray. Your prayer doesn’t have to be ‘perfect’. It’s simply having a conversation with God. Express to Him how you feel about your day, ask Him to help you through your day. Invite The Holy Spirit to work within you. Other than that I am glad you found Christ and may He continue to strengthen you throughout your walk 🩷 Not everything will be perfect and you will face trials but although trouble is guaranteed, God is with you. He will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7) Always remember it’s about having a relationship with Christ not religion - not about being ‘perfect’ but having Genuine love and Faith in Him.
