      Eden Binns I agree, I have Crohns on top of a super fast metabolism. All I do is waste away I can never seem to eat enough to stay well. Then I end up being 70lbs end up in hospital then on prednisone. That's the only thing that has kept me alive and put weight back on me. It was really nice to see and show that not all workouts are great for everyone. Working out is still important we just have to find what works for each of us.

      Yes me too! I’ve always been skinny due to genes and I lose weight very fast if I’m not balancing my diet and exercise very carefully. And I feel like ppl like us with maintaining weight and not dropping too low are always missing from these videos so it was amazing to see this video

      @@mandybizaillion1416 Protein doesn't help GAIN muscle, it helps MAINTAIN the muscle you already have. But I think what happened to her was that she lost fat mass and she doesn't realize it. After the 30 days she looked more toned which means she didn't lose muscle. Those exercises would still help build the core and legs. I didn't see any good arm exercises though.

I started off with home workouts as well and fast forward a couple of years, I am now a proud gym member that is actively working out min 4 times a week! I think the best part about starting off with home exercises is realizing that workouts can be fun and it doesn't always have to be about achieving a certain goal. It's good to have a goal but it's important to fall in love with exercise first because it's the only way to make it sustainable!

    I committed to the gym in the new year. I've been going 3-4 days a week for almost 3 months and I'm starting to see results. I lost 8 pounds from surgery that I didn't have on me to lose, and I never gained it back until I started working out, even through the holidays! I've gained back the muscle I lost and I feel amazing. I know it's improved my mental health and I feel so much more motivated in life. I want to be fit and healthy, but I absolutely can't afford to lose weight, as I am already very underweight. Ideally, my workout would gain me some weight. If not, that's ok too. I've been trying to gain weight ever since I was a teenager (so for at least 10 years) and I've since resigned; I just can't. I'll just have to wait for my metabolism to slow down as I grow older, lol.
    But I do want to become fit, improve my stamina, and help my blood circulation. And that's what cardio's for. Is there a cardio workout that doesn't come with weight loss?

    • @KC-qh2vu
      @KC-qh2vu 5 лет назад

      Mixing cardio and doing workouts at the gym with weights would probably be the best thing for you. Since cardio would improve stamina but can also cause weight loss, but weights would improve strength building muscle, and gaining weight through that muscle. It would also make you hungry which would allow you to eat more to keep your weight up

    I feel so sorry for Brenda. The struggle of gaining weight can be just as tough as the struggle to lose it. And participating in something to make you healthier that results in losing weight that you already struggled to put on can be very demotivating.

    One big think when exercising is you need to take breaks, (missing a day or two) so your muscles rest, repair themselves then get stronger. Bc when you exercise, your muscle tissues break down therefore, muscle energy goes down and you’ll lose fluids in your body.

    For everyone who struggles with gaining muscle. You need to strain your muscles, with or without weights, doing various exercises, preferably everyday, don't repeat the same routine twice in a row, you should have like 10 different days. And the most difficult part: FOOD, if you do it correctly, you should get hungry 4 - 6 times a day, eat small portions with lean protein and some carbs. Now the most IMPORTANT part, SLEEP, have to sleep at least 8 hours a day for your muscles to recover. I would recommend calisthenics to build muscle and exercise in general because its less straining on your neurological system than using weights, which leads to a healthier body overall.

    I’ve been struggling my whole life to lose weight. I tried many kind if exercise and crazy diet ideas. But last month I challenged myself again to be more confident about myself. I am on my day 12 eating healthy and working out. I feel so good about this. I am more committed with this journey! 🙌🏻🤟🏻

    Last year I quit smoking. And drinking, because when I drink I want to smoke. Now I'm going to the gym. Honestly, I'm a completely different person than I was and no one ever talks about how hard it can be when you don't recognize yourself anymore - even if the changes are for the better.
