If you use a decorative ribbon or bright embroidery thread, this taped up style will look magnificent. Medieval women used similar techniques to put up their ordinary braids. Makes you look regal and gorgeous

the Stranger Things clip got me 😆 When I saw the thumbnail and the title I was like "She didn't!!" I should have know better. Not everyone is as impulsive/impatient as me when it comes to growing out my hair. I always get my hair cut "boy short" and after almost every haircut once it gets to the slightly awkward to style phase I start thinking "maybe I should grow it out more so I can curl and style it easier" but then it gets to the really awkward phase and I don't want to deal with it anymore and get it cut super short again. 😛 I've bought a couple wigs but I am not confident wearing them out of the house. ANYWAYS, I looove how your hair turned out, it's so cute and fun. Makes me wish I had braiding skills to do crochet braids.

I lost some of my hair due to stress and it's regrouping right now so I have two lengths of hair on my head (one layer at my shoulders and another layer maybe 3 inches long). I'd rather suffer with trims until they both equal each other than do the chop again and deal with the awkward length phase. That awkward phase is what kept me in the short phase of the chop for as long as I had. I just kept having it cut back to short whenever it started to get to that length cause I hated it so much

I love the end result but think the braids alone would have been pretty with color blended thread in the back. I really like the way the two front braids made a pretty headband on top of your head. Before that they made cute horns and you could dress as a sexy demoness for Halloween ;)

I grew it out and it was on the mend....then it fell out again from stress (professional school stress is no picnic people 🙃). I should cut my hair, cause it's now in the regrowth phase, but will I? No. There is no way ur getting me to go through that awkward hair length again! When it was short, it was cute! But that in between period between long and short? Where nothing u do makes it look cute? Nope, not doing it again. I'm perfectly fine slowly trimming my hair until the regrowth equals out the longer parts

A crochet style like this will look good for about 4 weeks.. longer if she wears a bonet. The braids and cornrows underneath will last for a good minute at least 4-6 weeks depending on how often she washes her hair

I lost my hair from illness amd stress. My dermatologist recommended biotin and being patient and it worked
