A Simple Way To Cook Beet Greens

Don't throw away the green, leafy portion of the beet because it is also edible. Here is a quick and easy way to cook the beetroot leaves in the microwave.
Preparation
Begin by cutting off the leaves and stems of the beets
Thoroughly wash the leaves and stems
Cut the leaves and stems into bite-sized pieces
Place in microwave safe container with lid or cover with saran plastic wrap
Cook on "high" for about 3-5 minutes until tender
Serve as a side dish with any of your favorite meals. Enjoy!
