This is so cute! Not only the journal, but that you took the time to make it for her. It made me tear up because I don’t have my grandmas close to me so I didn’t get to be like this with my grandmas, growing up.

I would love to have seen Lena’s journal completely finished, w/ the washi and any other embellishments you added and if you placed some tags, stickers, etc in the pockets… Love the colors used, nice n bright. So cute for a child. Can’t wait till my little grand babies are old enough for “Gemma” to do somethings like this for them!! Great job!

When my granddaughter was about 7, I sat down with her & her step-sister & her mom. We each altered one. They had a blast. That was a long time ago. She is 20 now. We even made an inkpen to match. Of course, all we did was decorate inside & out of cover.

This has turned out awesome Betty!! I love making these. I use them as a daily journal, but do not write in it daily, so it last me 2-3 yrs. Plus I do not double the pages nor put dividers in it, so it does go a little further for me. I do put pockets on the inside covers and make pockets on the 1st two pages and the last 2. I fold 2 pages from the right top corner down & glue together and then put decorative paper on top. Your notebook is great. Be well, be safe & TYFS

Where do you get the lids for your sugar bell squeeze bottles. I have the bottles and can’t find a lid that fits.

Never mind you just said what the glue is. lol
The glue in the squeeze bottle is Fabri Tac. The little pink took is just a little “pokey” tool that I picked up from Dollar Tree - 2 in a pack for $1.25.
I missed the name of the glue bottle. Seemed like pink something 😊

Hi . Can you tell me what kind of corner rounder you use? There are so many on Amazon.
The small one is by We R Memory Keepers (but any other brand will work). The larger one, which is also the same brand is the Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper (I think it can handle more or thicker paper but I'm not sure). I have the smaller one but a different brand and it works fine. Hope this helps and good luck! 😊
