I love, love, love this story! And, I’ve witnessed LaTanya’s support and love of community first hand! We had the privilege of meeting LaTanya on HBO’s Show Me a Hero. My daughter, Kyanna Simone Simpson, played her daughter. LaTanya has been a mentor and friend to my daughter every since. LaTanya keeps it real! She’s a role model for my daughter and, as such, has assisted me in advising Kyanna in balancing her acting career, college, and everyday living. I love you LaTanya!
Smart and humble. They are not always out in the streets. They mind their business, keep their privacy. More celebrities should be like them. Love their work. All the best!
