Great video. My background is high voltage substation fitter so i don't get involved in LV cabling much but big respect to this guy for his workmanship. A good cable jointer is difficult to find now. You can tell the guy cares about his job, the quality speaks for itself. Looking forward to the 2nd part!

I just knew you would have a great day on site with Tony. He’s a master jointer and a genius at problem solving!
His tricks of the trade are invaluable! Give Tony any size cable and he’ll make it look easy-peasy when you know it’s one sod of a job. Great banter between the two of you! Catch you on the next one. Stay safe, keep well. 👍⚡️🙏🏼

Watched tony for a while wicked jointer I see jointers on site and none of them work as neat and efficient as he does people don’t know about the exhaust cutter I bought the draper one after watching tony use it, it is the dogs you have to get used to using it better for bigger rather than the smaller. His crimping and cutting gear is sick the Klauke stuff is expensive !! Mike buy them u know ur going to even if you end up using them ones 😂

Quality video with loads of cheeky tips... never thought about an exhaust pipe cutter being used like that.
Curious about the use those types of cable cutting tools over say, a cordless bandsaw. Is it to minimise costs of consumables such as blades etc. over time or cos they are able to fit in tighter spaces?

working in industrial myself nice vid and we do the same use bog standard drills for most holesaw work but another tip there that wd40' naughty Tony he should know better, is only piss water never use it, notice the ploom of smoke after his cut, no good for the drill bit, use a good cutting paste/ compound instead bit will piss through anything

For going through those armoured's. . . I started using a blade from screwfix to cut uni a little while ago. Put it in a circular saw, took it nice and slow and it went through smooth af.
Haven't had the chance to test it with armoured yet, hoping it'll work just as well.
It's (507HG) from screwfix if you want to give it a shot 🤕 🩹🚑 😁
