This Got ...1 Mil plus views... Not that the song is bad it is good BUT... these Editors i'm assuming Vincent by the credits, in there very early 20's or younger (excuse me if i'm wrong) think they can just slap vacant boring shots together and call it a music video.... NO YOU CANNOT DO THAT. That is the difference between 1 mil and 50 mil in terms of views and YES I am speaking from experience from artists i've worked with. THIS IS NOT how you make a music video. You do not do the bear minimum. No matter the budget you can create an awesome MV but it DOES take talent, and this ...my friends is not a talented editor or director. I'll let you in on a secret, Here is how it is done:
YOU MATCH THE LYRICS TO THE VIDEO!!!
If in the lyrics you hear the words: I take her by the hand and we go all night - THE MV should blatantly show some kind of dance setting with a crowd while you are the center piece and you literally .. TAKE HER BY THE HAND then cut to her reaction Move the camera back slip your hands away and then when it says "Go all night" Everyone in the back drop as well as the couple start having a good time with lights flashing everywhere. That is one example. You don't sit in a field by yourself and say the words "i take her by the hand" while no girl is present.....That is NOT a MV that is a video of you lip singing words that have nothing to do with the backdrop......Good music Needs Good visuals that Glide with each other in harmony and capture your minds like a fantasy...
I'm not hating on these dudes but DO NOT WASTE YOUR TALENTED MUSIC CAREER on mediocre videos. Your on a Dessert albite nice location.. this whole time and your sitting and singing or standing and singing.. No this video has no story and no soul to engage....I'm more sensitive to it as a Director and Editor so It bothers me a lot more then others.
