There are quite tight regulations how the buildings should look like in Prague. Imagine you live in a forgotten street far from any tourist - You want plastic window frames to better insulate? Too bad, you have to have wooden frames. Yet it is fine to have those disgusting shops create an image of the city. Doesn't make any sense
@@martinkominek6712 wooden frames are great as well when it comes to isolation the glass depends the most , but they are more expensive and fragile compared to plastic
Well honest guide is very famous in czechia. Therefore, if more channels like these were set up, they would have a lot of locals either backing them up for being truthful or showing their scamming.
That's hilarious how green and ridiculous they have to make their storefront. I live in a legal state, and our dispensaries don't really look much different than other stores on the outside.
In Canada some look normal. Or get creative and have symbols and store name with goofy slang. But still they blend in with the surrounding stores. But some have to go all out and put weed leafs and CANNABIS or DISPENSARY in giant letters on the outside. Only requirement seems to be, all glass has to covered up with that clear privacy shield stuff, so you can't see in from the outside.
American dispensaries in your average American town or city aren't really aimed at trying to attract tourists like a store in the most touristy area of Prague is, it's not really comparable. I'm sure if there were dispensaries in time square they would also look similar to this. The dispensaries in the touristy areas of Amsterdam also look kind of like this.
Well, don’t be surprised that they told him the truth…”Honest Guide” is well known by most disreputable and unscrupulous operators…so many of them would immediately recognize what is going on. They would have probably told a tourist something completely different. I live in the neighborhood he is showing.

I just returned from Prague about 3 hours ago and I am appalled at the number of swindlers and scammers. 99% of the inns and restaurants are scammers - terrible food, hidden costs, tip added without informing. What shocked me is that without asking, even in intimate and dignified places, they pour 2 or 3 servings of wine - the price on the receipt is striking. The city is beautiful, but the authorities need to do something about the crooks and the mafia, because it's disgusting. If one comes from a country where there is no thievery and fraud, believes people and trusts their goodwill, one will be strongly surprised.
hey man, sorry about that, but as a person who lives in Prague for 7 years now I´d really like to see those scammy restaurants that you´re talking about, give me a few names and ill check them out.
Was in Prague last week and the amount of stores that sell weed is overwhelming. We were approached multiple times by some guys that drive around on bikes and questioned us if we want to buy some. It is a real shame that a beautiful city like this is ruined with these tourist traps that don't add anything to the historic value and the beauty of Prague.
Is it weird that I would trust the people on the street more than these stores? All of the things they were selling looked like dust. I also think the flashiness of it is really ugly. I can see teenage me being entertained by it.
@@friedrichs.8004 The effects of CBD are negligible. And the quality of those products looked sketchy as hell. If it's not regulated, then they can lie about how much is actually in it. And since it's for tourists, they don't have to worry about it not doing anything, since they are not catering to return customers. A tourist trap is anywhere that sells something for a marked up price, who relies on foreigners for business. If there are no locals around, that's a red flag. Cause that means no returning customers. Dealers rely on return customers. So I would find them more reliable if I wanted to smoke while in another country.
went to prague last week and my experience was 10 times better because of honest guide. They all know him there. I did a lot of the patreon map stuff and they are all super happy when i mentioned honest guide. hes a national treasure in prague
Most of the expensive prices you were talking about are only meant for tourists. When a Czech person walks in and speaks czech, they´ll give you a "normal" price. I remember last time my friends from the UK were in Prague, we went to buy a few beers in one of these shops because it was like 2AM and the pub we were heading into was quite far so we went to purchase five beers and the cashier was like 500CZK. So I started to talk in czech that that´s a ridiculous price and the cashier was like "Oh... you are Czech, you get it cheaper" and the final price was like 250CZK.
It's sad that people want to scam you like that in eastern europe. Like I am already enriching you by buying a product or a service from you and would probably leave a nice tip as well but on top of that they have to upsell me by like 2 or 3 times the actual price. I went Prague in November 2000, and then again in sept 2004. Even in that 4 year period, it started to go downhill from a architectural wonder with a chance of innocence, to a tourist trap. It was really noticeable. Sounds like over the last 18 years, it is trying to become sort of Ansterdamn
What don't you get? It's a great city and that's why you and everyone else has gone there. You are responsible for making it a tourist trap. Places change over time. Apparently at one point in time, timbouctou was quite the place to be.

One more thing you should make a video about are the small shiny shops in Prague. Mostly the employees are asians and the shop sells everything for 10x the price as the normal without writing it out. They approach you, trying to help then they grab something and scan it into their machine and push you to buy it, and threaten to call a police or sue you. I went to Prague with my girlfriend and we decided to try the HHC gummybears. We took two each after asking many times if we would get high with that, well we definitely were high, maybe too much tbh. They were very kind to us and even explained the difference between hhc and thc because we didn’t know it. Also they didn’t treat us like stupid tourists and gave us informations about what we were consuming. I guess it heavily depends on the kindness of the employers in the shop, because i also remember some other shops we went into and we felt like they forcefully wanted to sell us everything. Btw i think we paid like 14 euros for two gummybears each, but with just one you’ll definitely feel high
This doesn't sound accurate and honestly I get the impression your tolerance is very low. I write this as I await the effects of, supposed, 40mg dose of delta 9 from a gummy to kick in...
For me HHC gummies don't really do much, I ate 200mg the other day and was like a 3/10 stoned at the maximum. When I use a HHC vape cart it gets me to about a 5/10 and I can't get any higher than that no matter how many puffs I take. It's really strange to me because everyone feels it stronger. I feel like a better cannabinoid is HHC-P that one gets me to an 11/10 stoned it's so damn strong.
I actually asked in one of the shops whether it is real and they were kind enough to answer honestly :) (I knew it wasn't legal to sell "real" weed. I was just wondering whether police ignores it or if it is real. I also wasn't interested in buying even though they didn't know)
Personal use is not legal but as a policy they ignore it. Kinda like the Netherlands but less formalized. You can grow max five plants of cannabis, posess 15 grams of cannabis, 40 magic mushrooms, 5 grams hash, 5 tabs lsd, 1.5 gram heroin, 1 gram cocaine and 2 grams of meth.
I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these shops had actual real weed, they just pretend it's not real if someone asks them to protect themselves. In The Netherlands it's technically illegal to sell weed but you still see shops selling weed everywhere because the police tolerate the sale of soft-drugs.

I am living in Czech Republic, not in Prague but smoking (real) weed is not really a problem here. The cops do not care and if they do and you have under 5 gram on you they just qualify it as a minor offence. People smoke everywhere. Compared to Slovakia or Poland, you are safe. In these 2 neighbouring countries you can get in real problems with just a little bit of weed. There are vending machines with CBD weed everywhere and every little town has atleast a shop selling these products. How ever smoking real THC weed is not really a problem from my own experience.
oh i had a question like this, so from corner dealer you get good thc weed and noone even will look at you if you smoke it on a bench because it smells the same as cbd one? Well my next vacation then will be a Chech republic

Have you tried the weed from these shops? Does it actually get you high or is it just fake hemp like people in these comments are theorizing. Because in my opinion these shops probably actually are selling real weed, they're just saying it doesn't contain THC to protect themselves. In The Netherlands its technically illegal to sell weed but there are still coffee shops everywhere because the police tolerate it, so I imagine it's a similar thing here in Prague. I would find it very hard to believe all of these shops could operate selling fake weed to customers.
i was in prague a month ago and luckily i was with my czech speaking friend, i didn't get swindled and all the shop owners were honest with us, ended up getting an HHC vape which was pretty good
Be careful in these shops if buying cbd. They place 2 or 3 products in front of you with clearly 'krona' prices, then they ask you if you pay by card. If you say yes and then choose a product you discover (later) that they have replaced the krona product with a product with the 'euro' symbol on it . So your 220 krona (for example) purchase, becomes 220 euro. I assure you, my friend, weed has come very far since the 70s. Nowadays you get bud that'll knock you into next week, bud that'll make you work like a racehorse, bud that'll make you understand that the meaning of life is in fact bananas, back then it was a grab bag and if you were buying from a dealer instead of a mate that grew you had to pay massive premiums and fly to Jamaica to buy today's normal quality. Pick up a pre roll in their opening day sale and have it after dinner, you won't regret it.
@@namae6637 I've heard that is true but I have no interest in experiencing it personally. In the late 60 - early 70s - I owned a business that required monthly visits to Los Angeles and San Fran. I'd spend two nights in each before returning to Chicago. On one trip, on my last day, I bought a kilo for Maui Wowie for $200. It came as a hard compressed brick in a Tupperware snaplid box that might hold 6 or sandwiches. One edge was sticky because resin had leaked out of poorly closed seam. It wouldn't fit in my carry on and I traveled without check in luggage. The overhead bins were full. So I rode the four hour flight with the box of weed on my lap or on the floor under the seat ahead of me. Lol what? You think a tourist in Prague is going to forgot they're in Prague and think they're in Amsterdam or Ireland because of a pub or dispensary? Are you joking? People don't just forget what country they are in.
The very thought of the 'Irish pub' abroad makes me cringe. I've seen thousands across the world and they are all absolute shite. There is nothing Irish about them except their Guinness which they sell for more than they sell in Ireland. Which is absurd in a country like Czech where life is comparitively cheap. Idk there's a good amount of false advertising in dispensaries and I'm not completely impressed with what there allow producers to get away with. Overall simply a worse product compared to the craft cannabis/home grown scene, illegal market is a little bit hit/miss but Im always getting better quality and bang for ur buck from street weed, it just smokes alot closer to how organic home grown does, it's not irradiated, usually not sprayed but it's not hard to tell, where dispo nugs are almost always sprayed in my experience, or they just dry dusty chalk consistency, smokes too fast and harsh, Overall i think the legal market has been most successful in giving the illegal market a bar to outperform while the legal market focuses on "cheap"/convenience factors
Nice video, tell people the truth before they get scammed. Selling cbd, HHC or thc is not the main issue, these depend on legal restrictions. But lying to people about psychoactive substances can be risky. I think we should share this video to more people to avoid it. There are also trusted cannabis stores such as Kannastar who will let you know what you are buying.
I've been to prague last summer and ofc we also went into a few of these shops. All of them were selling cbd or hhc except one: We bought some and it was 100% normal thc weed. We were confused how this could be legal but at the end just enjoyed ir😅
I guarantee a lot of these shops are selling real weed, it's probably similar to what happens in The Netherlands, it's technically illegal to sell weed In The Netherlands but the coffee shops still operate all over Amsterdam, the police just tolerate them so they operate in a grey-zone. I'm sure the same thing is happening in Prague.

@@Ulexcool Well, if you look at what usually gets written about anything cannabis related it's REALLY hard to find an observation. It's either very pro or very con. This was just 'hey, here's what we saw.' I liked that. Ofc it's not an in depth analysis, but that wouldnt be fitting for the channel. Just let me appreciate these guys man. I like their style
These guys could have done better research and actually tested the product to see if it gets you high or not so it was more accurate, or they could have at least asked some people if they tried smoking the weed from these stores to see if it got them high, that would have been good journalism. The truth is a lot of these stores are actually selling weed with THC in them, they aren't lying to people, the police just tolerate it. It's like how in The Netherlands it's illegal to sell weed but the police tolerate the coffee shops.
I remember several years ago heroin addiction destroyed my life, I suffered from severe depression and a mental disorder until I was recommended to psilocybin mushroom treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly I'm 8 years clean now. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
To be honest, mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on the planet and it is natural, they serve in many ways not only for mental related issues.
Can you help me with a reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. It is very hard to get a reliable source here in New Zealand. Really need!
Yes, Sporeville. I had the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction... Mushrooms definitely made a huge difference to why I'm clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place. Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He's 59 & has many mental health issues plus probably CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone. He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD knows if it is common for an obsession with violence.
Literally what I was thinking lmao. Just about every major Canadian city had a pot shop, that at most, had a 'doctor' to 'write you a prescription'. If the country is relaxed enough; they will look the other way lol
I can almost guarantee that a lot of these stores are selling real THC weed. It's illegal to sell weed in The Netherlands but you still see coffee shops everywhere, the cops just tolerate it. The same type of thing is happening in Prague. Even the stores that aren't selling THC weed are selling HHC weed, which gets you high just like normal weed does.
What's the most tragic is that this happens ONLY in Prague. I have not seen these cannabis stores anywhere else, be it a big city, a town or a village. That only proves it's meant for tourists and to annoy everybody else. I 've walked down a beautiful, small side street and then BANG, 3 cannabis shops literaly next to each other, absolutely ruining the peaceful atmosphere.
Sadly those stores are everywhere, even outside of city center (almost as many as minimarkets 😉). Getting the real stuff in Prague is not difficult either but those giant leaves and corny logos sure don't improve the city look.
I was also in Prague two weeks ago and wo bought edibles which were thc and hhc and both made us high. I wouldn’t recommend weed buds but edibles are the way to go if you wanna get high. We bought them in a shop under the carls bridge on the northern end of it and it’s about 300 crowns for 3 x 30mg. Just for those people that want to get high but not get scammed!!
I wouldn't eat that synthetic chemical shit. Bad karma !

My friends got duked by them several times when we were in Prague. I was like it's obviously a scam, and all you really had to do was Google whether it was legal 😂 And indeed everything in the "supermarkets" is extremely expensive. Your first order of business when going to touristy places, should always be to find the nearby actual super markets. It saved us a ton of money in both Prague and Barcelona. I also think this whole copying thing is such a shame. Especially the weed shops look awful, but once you get out into the streets, the facades look beautiful. I'm sure someone spends a lot of time cleaning them 😅 Oh yeah and HHC is basically the same thing in Denmark. I don't know why they don't just rush towards banning it to the same degree as THC. I'm all for legalizing it, but if they're going to ban it, they'd be much better off doing it before everyone has tried it.
In the US for states that havent legalized weed yet, also sell HHC. HHC is different from THC thats why its not illegal. HHC still gets you high, but not as much as good THC.
So you're telling me your friends bought this weed, then they smoked it and didn't get high? I find it hard to believe all of these stores are selling weed that doesn't get people high. In The Netherlands it's illegal to sell weed but you still see coffee shops operating everywhere around Amsterdam because cops tolerate the sale of soft-drugs. I imagine it's a similar thing in Prague, I'm sure a lot of these shops are actually selling real weed, like how are cops going to even know the difference?
Could it be happening in a similar way in Christiania, Copenhague? And also in different places in Europe that have become attractive for people looking for a high? I remember those "chinese" cannabis lollipops, candies and souvenirs. It seems that the problem behind all of this tourist market is the origin of the products, that looks like synthetic cannabinoids with fancy packaging. How much of that production is really made in the EU? Anyway it seems it is a really profitable bussiness, unfortunately.
Back in 2017, on a trip to Prague, we went into a seed store where they sold cannabis seeds. The store employee told us it’s against the law to sell weed but selling seeds is ok. Will you cover this on a future video? edit was at a cool bar called Bezelpub and watched a guy roll a cannabis joint and smoke it. Right there in the bar. It was the day before the city wide ban on smoking indoors was to go into effect.
As far as I know, seeds don't contain THC, so selling them is actually legal-ish :D Its actually the same loophole, they sell them as "collectibles" Those seeds are the real thing, though, and there was a period of confusion between the state, the police and the city, whether they should be actually banned or not, and I'm not sure how it ended. They are not illicit businesses, however they had to operate in cash for a while, because banks were not really sure if they are legal or not, either
In many european countries its completely legal to grow 1-2 bushes, nothing to cover here as you answered the question yourself. Seeds are completely legal
@@bohdankopcak296 it is legal, right now i can visit like 6 different sites where i can buy northern light seeds or goerilla glue 5 seeds for about 20€

I'm sure a similar thing is happening in Prague.
I was just in Prague, I enjoyed walking around the city seeing all the different weed related names for these shops. It was always fun finding one with a new name. Think I'll stick to the beer and goulash if I'm ever back though 😅
Ok so that was the fun part. What a great vacation you had. Yeah i mean, what could be better than walking around with a smug sheepish smile, “wow thats a new one, cant wait to tell the guys back home”. Would slice my wrists somewhere in that exiting Postcard From Prague, not sure where, can you insert them at the appropriate place for me?
That shit fucked me completely up, when I had a short stop in Prague last summer. My first visit to the city was in 1996 and the city was so amazing. My second visit was in 2011 an I was wondering, why there are so many souvenir shops and very bad restaurants. And last summer I was there only for one night and could have cried, how bad things went for this beautiful city. The day before I slept one night in Pilsen and this is a city I could really recommend for a city trip.
It's the sad reality of the overtourism and city not really caring about these shops ruining its image. It gives a lot of space for these scammers to thrive. I'm a czech person I really stopped liking coming to Prague nowadays. If you liked Pilsen you might like Brno or Olomouc too.
huh... makes me wonder. I went there the last time in 2006 and was in awe back then. Planned to go this year again (I live nearby over the border anyways). Maybe just leave the image in my mimd and not destroy it 🤔

I would be interested in if you bought the 20 THC weed and get it tested, the salesperson said yeah it's illegal but no one cares so I am inclined to believe it does have thc.
I'm not entirely sure but I think it is also illegal to buy thc without a prescription 🤔 Honestly, the drug laws here are stuck in the 20th century. There are lots of new drugs that they don't cover at all and that children can buy from a vending machine but grannies still get years in prison for growing a couple of weed plants in their garden🙄
They literally don't care though. You can get nice high thc weed from African guys. Just spot one of them around the square area near the clock and you get a nice deal as well. That's back in ~2009; I would guess they're even more easy going these days!!!

its also worth mentioning that WEED is NOT LEGAL (yet) anywhere in EUROPE, so naturally, whatever these shops sell, it's not what you're looking for ;) EXCEPT amsterdam, but the "legality" there also has additional hiccups that can easily "hurt" a tourist
It's actually legal in Malta. Other then that, you are correct that there isn't any place where it's legal. There are proposals to legalize it in Germany but nothing concrete is happening right now.
Weed isn´t legal in Amsterdam, or in the rest of the Netherlands, either. It´s just ``tolerated``. The Dutch word is ``gedoogd``. Growing it is also illegal, and can get you thrown out of your home, even for less than five plants. Coffeeshops are permitted to keep only 500 grams maximum in supply. That regulation gives the police an easy reason to shut them down, since it´s almost impossible to meet customer demand with such a small amount. I´ve lived and worked in the Netherlands for the past 30 years, and I´ve watched the government´s war on weed-selling coffeeshops escalate. Presently, there is talk of legalizing government-controlled cannabis growing operations for the purpose of supplying the coffeeshops, but they can´t seem to get the idea off the ground.
These shops are just embarrassing for Prague.. I hadn't been in Prague 1 for a while and took my visiting friend on a little tour. To be honest it is cringe-worthy how much tat and rubbish is being punted around everything from these weed shops, trdelniks, sweet shops etc.. We stopped just off Staromesto Namesti and bought Klobasa... This was also overpriced lukewarm and bad quality. Prague is a beautiful city, I don't understand how the local authorities even allow these dreadful shops to open. Thanks for your great content honest guide!
Would be good to see a video on why Prague became obsessed with tips, they ask you to tip for every move you make, you breath and they want a tip. Like no where in Europe. Also often very aggressive. Was it always like this or was it after COVID?
When I was 18 I went to Prague with 9 friends, (we are all french). There weren't all those "fancy" "Cannabis" Shop, but we could buy weed in a tons of bar and club just asking the bartender. Forget the false advertising and THC, those shops should be banned for the hideous looking storefronts alone.

There are quite tight regulations how the buildings should look like in Prague. Imagine you live in a forgotten street far from any tourist - You want plastic window frames to better insulate? In spain the stores(clubs) aren’t allowed to advertise anything outside that can directly suggest it’s a weed store

@@kwrona Sure thing Sherlock.
Have you tried the weed from these shops? Does it actually get you high or is it just fake hemp like people in these comments are theorizing.
If you go back to complain suddenly the boss is phoned to tell you to fuck off, and if you persist suddenly a huge knuckle dragging guy will walk in the door to threaten you. Best advice is just do not purchase anything, do not support these stores.

BTW - by the time I leave on my monthly train trip through Europe, recreational use of grass will be legal in NJ and the weed shop being built less than 5 minutes walk from my apartment me will open. @@growthmonger4341 dude, it's "legal" here in Jersey City but there isn't a "legally" open shop.
I assure you, my friend, weed has come very far since the 70s.
I know that today it's not possible to imagine a world without xrays, dogs, etc - but it did exist. You could walk up to the ticket desk ten minute before a flight and buy a one way ticket for cash. No ID need. Just give them any name you wanted.

That only proves it's meant for tourists and to annoy everybody else. I 've walked down a beautiful, small side street and then BANG, 3 cannabis shops literaly next to each other, absolutely ruining the peaceful atmosphere.
Nope, we have many cannabis shops here in Thailand as well, Pattaya to be exact. It is the tourist beach city here.
@@flyingtankersythe's saying in Czechia not the world
Sadly those stores are everywhere, even outside of city center (almost as many as minimarkets 😉). Getting the real stuff in Prague is not difficult either but those giant leaves and corny logos sure don't improve the city look.
What's the way to get the real stuff in Prague?
The vapes are real... you WILL get high.
Lmfao, I love that pseudo-Middle-eastern accent you broke out 3:31 it really goes to show how common it is lol.
Alcohol-free beer, cafeïne free coffee, And now THC free weed.
.....What is this world coming to ? 😅
It's with HHC which is pretty similar to THC
HHC actually works and gets you high unlike CDB.
@@yellow01umrella but there is nothing like thc my bro

I was also in Prague two weeks ago and wo bought edibles which were thc and hhc and both made us high. I wouldn’t recommend weed buds but edibles are the way to go if you wanna get high. We bought them in a shop under the carls bridge on the northern end of it and it’s about 300 crowns for 3 x 30mg. Just for those people that want to get high but not get scammed!!
I wouldn't eat that synthetic chemical shit. Bad karma !
My friends got duked by them several times when we were in Prague. I was like it's obviously a scam, and all you really had to do was Google whether it was legal 😂
And indeed everything in the "supermarkets" is extremely expensive. Your first order of business when going to touristy places, should always be to find the nearby actual super markets. It saved us a ton of money in both Prague and Barcelona.
I also think this whole copying thing is such a shame. Especially the weed shops look awful, but once you get out into the streets, the facades look beautiful. I'm sure someone spends a lot of time cleaning them 😅
Oh yeah and HHC is basically the same thing in Denmark.
HHC still gets you high, but not as much as good THC.
its hhc they just saying its thc, hhc is safe and gets you high so who cares
So you're telling me your friends bought this weed, then they smoked it and didn't get high? I find it hard to believe all of these stores are selling weed that doesn't get people high. In The Netherlands it's illegal to sell weed but you still see coffee shops operating everywhere around Amsterdam because cops tolerate the sale of soft-drugs. I imagine it's a similar thing in Prague, I'm sure a lot of these shops are actually selling real weed, like how are cops going to even know the difference?
@@ChrisM-bn5vr its not illegal for the stores to sell it, its illegal for the stores to buy it.

As far as I know, seeds don't contain THC, so selling them is actually legal-ish :D
Its actually the same loophole, they sell them as "collectibles"
Those seeds are the real thing, though, and there was a period of confusion between the state, the police and the city, whether they should be actually banned or not, and I'm not sure how it ended.

Eh, it's really only couple touristy streets in the old town. Prague is so much bigger than that and still beautiful and definitely worth visiting.
I was there in December. First time back in 10 years. Kind of disappointing to see how the city had changed so much in many different ways...and the cannabis shops everywhere was kind of a let down.
Oh shut up!! Things change and won't match up to your "memory". Grow up.
been in te exact same shop seen in this video and they woman behind counter lied to me as well saying it has thc lmfao
I would be interested in if you bought the 20 THC weed and get it tested, the salesperson said yeah it's illegal but no one cares so I am inclined to believe it does have thc.
Yeah but maybe nobody cares because they know it's THC free so you aren't actually buying or smoking anything illegal.
I'm not entirely sure but I think it is also illegal to buy thc without a prescription 🤔
Honestly, the drug laws here are stuck in the 20th century. There are lots of new drugs that they don't cover at all and that children can buy from a vending machine but grannies still get years in prison for growing a couple of weed plants in their garden🙄
@@MrEvilWasp If they tell you it has THC and it doesn't just to take your money it's still fraud, so either way a crime is happening.

its also worth mentioning that WEED is NOT LEGAL (yet) anywhere in EUROPE, so naturally, whatever these shops sell, it's not what you're looking for ;)
EXCEPT amsterdam, but the "legality" there also has additional hiccups that can easily "hurt" a tourist
It's actually legal in Malta. Other then that, you are correct that there isn't any place where it's legal. There are proposals to legalize it in Germany but nothing concrete is happening right now.
Its actually legal in malta, but not for tourists.
So paradoxically only in Netherlands tourists can actually get weed, but its semi-illegal there
Weed isn´t legal in Amsterdam, or in the rest of the Netherlands, either.
Well, this is wrong. The kind of weed that is illegal is the one that contains THC. In Italy we have legal weed shops bc of the benefits of CBD.

Was planning on going over christmas to visit family, hearing all this shit about swindlers and excessive tips puts me off. Really unfortunate.
When I was 18 I went to Prague with 9 friends, (we are all french). There weren't all those "fancy" "Cannabis" Shop, but we could buy weed in a tons of bar and club just asking the bartender. I guess those shops are just the extension of all the tourists scams we already noticed when we went there around 2011.
