That was also the first thing I did. Cheap and easy way to make your car sound WAY better. I loved my muffler delete. Had to go with a cat back eventually tho.
@@ethang9712 no the muffler delete was actually the perfect set up for someone who wants noise but not too much. I just prefer a cat back set up because of my future plans for the car. The cat back I put on is almost too loud to the point it gets a little annoying and I never thought id say that.
Nice! I'll likely keep this as is. I really want to do an engine swap in the future. So that'll change verything. But until then, I'm super satisfied still.
@@kyfn984 I got the Invidia single exit titanium cat back that is really weird cause its not really listed anywhere and I dont even know what they call it but its really similar to the Tomei Expreme Ti. And it is almost too loud sometimes, I sometimes wanna go back to the muffler delete haha.
To be honest, the TRD exhaust doesn't sound good either; but hey, it's Toyota. This particular muffler delete isn't too shabby; but in the end, it's just bent pipe with shiny tips. Is the large suitcase muffler part of the rear aero, like on Mazdas? The large muffler helps air flow under the car, but now that "function" is gone with the delete. Will you notice any difference?
Ive had 2 muffler deletes and I will tell you this and anybody else who may stumble upon your question...the muffler delete DOES drone. HOWEVER, I also had the Invidia N1 and that famn catback droned more than any exhaust i have ever had. The n1 hurts on long drives. The muffler delete doesnt hurt my head unlike the N1 but driving under 70 on the freeway there is a drone/buzzing that is there and may be annoying for most. Also start up in the mornings are pretty loud. It is fun and not the loudest but it is a great starter exhaust until you find a more refined sound in a catback. Definitely recommend. Also the ft86 muffler delete is great and fitment was on point
There definitely is drone. However, a little fines while driving gets rid of it. It's honestly not that bad. I've done 6hr drives and it hasn't bothered me at all.

100%. Definitely haven't noticed any difference whatsoever in terms of function. It just sounds better is all.

Absolutely legal. It’s loud, but doesn’t even come close diesel trucks or semi trucks.
Depends on the state for example in California it’s not legal because every car needs a functional muffler
