My brother(the oldest of six brothers) pasded away two years ago...and left a two story house / six bedrooms and four bathrooms..plus a big room.that was a re-sale store that my sister -in-law. ..(who had passed away five years prior to my brothers death) had . and it was full of merchandise..all the way to the ceiling. And unfortunately....the store and house look like a hoarders place now...

Stain is definitely from the acid testing. I got some on my fingers one time and they turned that color and peeled.
