His father, Hitoshi Konno, founded Cherubim in 1965, and was considered the finest framebuilder in Japan, as well as one of the finest in the world. He had 2 brothers -- one was Hitoshi, who founded 3Rensho (San Rensho), and the youngest brother, Shin, founded Miyuki Cycle. These three brothers dominated the fine bicycle making world in Japan for decades. Cherubim is the only survivor. And now, Shin-ichi is widely thought of as the greatest living framebuilder in Japan and in the top 5 in the world.

My most loved frames are 3renhso and Cherubim but can’t afford either at the moment but definitely will. As I know 3rensho is one of , if not, the most sought after njs frames, but would you please tell me why 3rensho stopped building frame?

デザインとアート、デザイナーと職人を勘違いしているみたいですね。シンプルに自転車の話がしたければ、オタクと仲間内だけでやってろって思ってしまいました。メーカーの人たちの話に入った時に鼻で笑ったのがとても気になります。
すごい芸術的な自転車を製作していて、カッコいい人だと思っていましたが、典型的な「デザイン」とは何かを理解していない人の例ですね。
「デザイン性の高い物？」よく雑誌やウェブサイトでデザイン、デザインと適当に言いますが、今一度デザインとは何か勉強した方が良いと思います。
