Yes, I totally agree a hundred percent with you. I've been learning English over 2 years by my own and definitely during this time I could find so many ways and resources to practice foreign language, but some of them didn't work with me and sometimes I felt myself stuck or I wasn't going on, and I could see that I must to figure out ways that really work with me, and doing this, my English is doing well, really well
I never ever tried to learn English but I watch English youtubers naturally. At beginning I needed subtitles but now I never even though that the video I just watched is in english because it become so natural to me. My advice to anyone who is reading this is don't think that learning English is a task or a work you need to do but just indulge in English videos of your interest soon you will also become pro. Edit : I can't speak it very well because I don't want to learn that :-]
