nice documentary Vir ji... malana's tradition and culture is a part of indian heritage and I really wish it stays there with its charm and beauty forever... although I am really saddened to look at the direction in which it is moving now... :(
The government is the real destroyer everywhere, the fire is a sign of things to come, i think. I am from Belgium, here the government has already destroyed all culture, all traditions and all religiosity, we are like well fed cattle, we are all isolated individuals with no bounds. That is called freedom, here. It is a joke. We live under constant supervision of the state, just like children. We became eternal children. Enjoy your lasts years of freedom as humans, as men and women. I pray for you.
good effort. Amazing to see their faces so innocent and estranged to the use of a camera.. The indian government should be trying to preserve cultures like this, not corrupt them with outside thought..
you shoud go skoo its a timewarp they have great charas there..me and my sister went in 1991..we stayed at presidents house even tho u were not to touch anything there...it was a real trip
Kanashi is Sino Tibetan language, Devta Ghepan is brother of Jamlu devta which is tha main diety of Lahul Valley, so we can say that there is a culture relation between Malana and Lahul, The local Language of Lahul is also like Tibetan.
i am so sad from that India one of the most important place for human beans history became a really extreme place and copy the west attitude from foreign country and lost completely is history... i really do not like what hap end there. one more thanks for this documentary help me to remenber the past .. but sorry this is not the right history from what we usually call democracy... India is far a way from that for ever .. so sorry.. peace loveee affection ////
