Watched again and sent to adult kids to explain how we spent our weekend! Y’all are…. I’ll finish the sentence when I create a new word that encompasses what’s in my heart.
Love, Love, Loved this episode. This is a bucket list item for me, Wow! I'm a racer at heart. If I were ever to win the lottery, lol, if I ever played, I would go to multiple driving schools....pavement, dirt, road racing, drag racing, sprint car racing, etc..etc..
Oh my goodness...LOOKS LIKE YOU SLAYED THAT ASPHALT BEAST!!! The roar & rumble of those cars - that would be hard 2 leave. Made my guys sit & watch too & gotta say theyre luvin it!
This comment is for anyone who wonders if the course "HOW TO START A RUclips CHANNEL", offered by Mark is worth it. ABSOLUTELY! I thought I knew it all because of all the videos I have watched on how to start a RUclips channel... Uhhh, NO! I am learning so much more useful information than most videos give me. Mark explains even the smallest details that one wouldn't think will make a difference in the channel's success. I am working on a second channel, starting from scratch and will follow Marks tips religiously :) Mark, Trish, I thank you both so much for creating this priceless course! I don't even know how to thank you enough... I am reading it like a novel :) And the channel banner art tips - I love it! Thank you and have a wonderful travel! Warm thanks, Sasha
:) Thank you ma'am! I appreciate it! I am going to make a few changes based on what I have learned from the course so far :) Thank you all again and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!
Mark & Trish the new TOP GEAR presenters. Absolutely fantastic video guys just like watching an exiting episode of TOP GEAR. You really would give Clarkson & Co a run for there money. Brilliant use of your drone guys, made it all the more interesting to watch.
When you get to Fairbanks, check out the camping on the Little Chena River, it's cheap and great views. With lots of room. Just east of Two Rivers, Alaska in the park. Head toward Chen'a Hot springs resort. Turn left at 39 mile...
Who would have thought that the flat tire episode would lead all the way to here. Amazing video, great shots, superb drone work, lots of fun! Congratulations on episode 100 :-)
Hey guys thank you so much for that video, that was awesome. Thank you so much for everything that you do to put these videos , I'm a little late this week, lol but I always am so excited to see your videos and thank you from the bottom of our heart, you guys are like family to us now lol and we've never met you lol but one day I hope to meet you and shake your hand you guys are so easy to watch and enjoy your company on the video lol I can only imagine what it is in person lol anyway thank you safe travels see you guys soon God bless
It really is amazing what a normal street vehicle can do. Best case-in-point is to take your vehicle you drive everyday and apply the brakes on pavement hard enough to make the ABS work. It is amazing how hard a vehicle can brake! It can feel like your face is getting sucked out of your head! Great video! I'm sure it was a blast getting to spend some time in a closed course in some Hellcats!
Vision is so true. My dad always taught me that from the beginning of my driving and for life. Keep your eyes up and anticipate what is going to happen and always be aware of what is going on around you. Great fun video. Congratulations on the 100th episode.
Like locked up? I wasn't thinking people would drift their rig. But knowing what ABS feels like or how to stop quickly on the threshold of abs is a good thing to know.
It just seems a bit sketchy to me hitting 65 mph in a parking lot with unknown surface friction levels and then trying to stop in a specified time and space. Knowing how your ABS reacts and feels is probably a good thing but getting it to behave the same way on different surfaces would be difficult. For example, the feeling on dry pavement with lots of grip creates a very distinct almost violent shudder at the pedal while the same brake force of a damp street creates a very different sensation. I agree that doing it somewhere other than a public space, such as a test track would be much less sketchy. It's hard to argue against knowing how a vehicle reacts in an emergency situation, but there's a time and place for that education .... in my opinion. Oh yeah, the pedal feel during an ABS activation with a 6000 lb trailer behind you is quite different also :-) Also, having ABS activated does not always guarantee the ability to steer.
I really love watching y’alls videos make such great videos. I don’t even watch tv anymore why watch tv when I can come to RUclips and watch clean family videos instead of all the trash on tv
Thanks Caleb. We turned off the TV years ago and started watching RUclips 100% It's why we're doing this :) Had we left the TV on, I'm convinced we'd still be at home!
That would have been nice. It was a fun, but slightly stressful couple days making sure we could capture what we needed in one take.... without knowing what was next or what to expect.
All the videos are great but from a cinematography standpoint, this takes the cake! Great use of the drone, mix of cameras and editing! Looked like a professional film shoot! Looked ridiculously fun too!
Thanks for noticing because it got stressful at times. We reviewed the footage after day 1 and thought... how are we going to record this AND do it? We came back on day 2 and told the instructors that we need WAY MORE drone to piece these scenes together. We like events like this to force us to improve.
Stellar video!!!! So cool to see the photos of Mr. B. himself with Clint Eastwood, Gene Hackman, Paul Newman. You know what...this was so good, I'm going to watch it again right now!!!
Believe it or not, but this could help your rig handling. I took the Archer high performance driving course in Topeka, KS. back in 1992, and the lessons learned has been beneficial in driving a big truck and towing my camping trailer. Remember, smooth is faster, energy management will help you with better fuel economy and give your family (and Ginger II) a smoother ride.
I agree. All these principals are so transferable. We're going to *try* to keep a fuel log to AK so everyone knows. I'm good about that stuff for the first few days.... AK is a big trip :)
Hi great video. With ABS and brake control set right and looking where you need to go helps. Well my is set at 6.5 I like alittle pull from camper and with the engine brake of fat bottom girl ( our 3500 RAM dually)things seem to stop LOL. Yes there is a story there. Coming from lake Havasu to Paker there is light at the bottom of the hill well looked at the speed limit sign to the right then down at Dash just make was not speeding looked up and the light is red car in both right and centre lanes well hitting brakes very hard and aiming for the left turning lane all was fine lost a little rubber. 37′ of 5wheel did not even
You guys are awesome!!! I look forward to watching your videos every week. Would love to meet up with you all some time. Thank You for great-great videos!!!
OMG! I am so jealous! Marc, shame on you! Never, ever drive a drag car with your hands on the inside of a stearing wheel! Control is on the outside! Lol! Looks like you had a blast! Way to go Girl!
Pure adult madness!!! Love it, this class/training provides you with knowledge in a safe environment. Now you get to apply this knowledge to your every day driving. I know you two had fun, it's apparent 😊 Hugs, Sandy
Your trip to Alaska has probably started...? My wife and I are wondering if you’ve upgraded your Rig like you hinted at a while ago! We begin our Daydream in 35 days and a wake-up. We (read: my wife) want to start a blog about our journey and wondered if you had any suggestions. Looking forward to your Alaska videos! Mark & Andrea Ballard
Not yet. The channel is pretty current right now. Well, really current. Bondurant was a few days ago. Upgrade videos will be in a couple week and then we start our travels north. We won't get to AK until mid to late June, but we have some fun stuff planned for the trip north.
Awesome video as always! We leave for our 3000 mile west family rv adventure in just a few short weeks. We are super excited but I find as the time gets closer a little nervousness is creeping in. Does any else feel this way before a big trip to an unknown territory? We are well under gvwr and set up to do this but ...those mountains look bigger every day! :)
Us too. Before we left the first time, we were really nervous/excited. Mexico was new. A bit nervous there. Canada (Tifino) and the Ferries - that was new with lots of moving parts. SN 4 was pretty low key because we knew the area, but now AK?!?! Lots we don't know. Just remember, you're not in a hurry... even when you think you are. Being in a hurry is when problems happen!
There is a sailing playlist - of the sailers we've meet-up with. We're still RVing to the boat. Didn't think we'd be RVing this long. AK and the Mid-west are left on the list... then we'll start wroking towards sailing again
Keep Your Daydream that is fantastic! We just picked out a midbunk rear living tt. Plan on full timing for 3 years and then sailing around Australia and New Zealand then who knows after that. Took us two years to get our brick and mortar fitness business converted 100% online but we are just a couple months away from hitting the road. Thanks for posting great content. I have a lot of catching up to do on your channel. 💪🏻
Outstanding drone footage Marc. Oh and great driving. I know you all had fun, but yes there is a lesson to be learned about defensive driving. More people need that type of driver training especially teen drivers. Great job getting the word out. 👍
This is blast from the past question. Did you have to turn in your Mexican visa visitor permits when you left Mexico? Can't seem to find out anywhere! Help! Lol
That was so cool!! Cant wait to get out that way and go there!! Thanks for the great videos and inspiration you guys bring, Its infectious!! Happy Trails!!
Great as always! Brings back memories of working "rescue" out at Firebird lake for all the races, and skydiving on to the track for special events. Looks like you two had a wonderful time. But how did you get away from the kiddos to do it?
Great 100th episode video. Really wanted to see you run the course in your Super Duty. Bondurant teaches great techniques and situational awareness. Can't wait to see your trip to Alaska!

Excellent!!!
You guys are AWESOME!!!

Congrats on 100th! Great drone shots!!!!!
This looks sooo fun!
I've been meaning to do the Bondurant school forever - nice inspiration!
That looked like sooo much FUN!
"Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast" is the saying...... And I love your videos!!
Dang it. Did I make up my own version?
Love, Love, Loved this episode. This is a bucket list item for me, Wow! I'm a racer at heart. If I were ever to win the lottery, lol, if I ever played, I would go to multiple driving schools....pavement, dirt, road racing, drag racing, sprint car racing, etc..etc..
My favorite video of KYD, only because my Dad was a short track Racer and my Uncle was a motocross and snowmobile Racer.
That was a great video!!! It looked like so much fun do.
Looked like sooooo much fun!
Guys this was an awesome video! So jealous you had this experience!
Amazing video and school! Sign me up!
Oh my goodness...LOOKS LIKE YOU SLAYED THAT ASPHALT BEAST!!! The roar & rumble of those cars - that would be hard 2 leave. Made my guys sit & watch too & gotta say theyre luvin it!

You guys had some FUN!
Shake N Bake! Hahaha! Looks like fun!
So cool. I expected to see you on the tracks with your truck and Ginger! Ha!

You're too kind Sasha. I'm so glad you're liking it!
That's really great, Sasha because your channel is already great! Pat
:) The last time I enjoyed reading non-fiction so much was 10 years ago when I was taking statistics and probability at SCC :) Thank you again guys!
:) Thank you ma'am! I appreciate it! I am going to make a few changes based on what I have learned from the course so far :) Thank you all again and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

Nice blenders! Great episode, keep it up.
I was a sucker on a IG ad. Polarized for $35 isn't a bad deal.
EP 1-100 and more to go.
Who would have thought that the flat tire episode would lead all the way to here. Amazing video, great shots, superb drone work, lots of fun! Congratulations on episode 100 :-)
I've often thought the same thing....
I’d love to see you guys take Ginger for a spin around that course! #KYD
Hey guys thank you so much for that video, that was awesome. I've never heard of this place and we live off Elliot and I-10 Will have to check it out!
Vision is so true. My dad always taught me that from the beginning of my driving and for life. Keep your eyes up and anticipate what is going to happen and always be aware of what is going on around you. Great fun video. Congratulations on the 100th episode.
Your recommendation to try these techniques in our trucks in a parking lot somewhere is an invitation to an overnight in cell city !

Hey Marc, nice Blenders!
Thanks. Dang IG ad :)
This was cool and all, but I really miss your videos of new cool places.
You'll get your fill of that during SN5, but you'll have to endure several truck & rv videos. We need to get ready first.
Keep Your Daydream I bet it'll be worth the wait!
This was a ton of fun. I was bummed I couldn't be out there to help you film this.
That would have been nice. It was a fun, but slightly stressful couple days making sure we could capture what we needed in one take.... without knowing what was next or what to expect.

you are so smart for getting prepared for your trip to Alaska by learning how to drive your rig the best way and safest way. Kudos to you.
Best driving school in the country... great way to show the combination excitement and learning.
It would have been fun to see the F-250 on the course.
Amazing video!!! When are you planning on heading up to Alaska?
We should be there by July 1 and leave by Sept 1
Keep Your Daydream We are planning on heading back up June 7th until September 1st. Hope to get a chance to catch up and meet!! :)
Great episode guys. Reminded me of the drag racing class I had with the Doug Foley school. What an adrenaline rush that was.

I'm inspired! Bondurant School of Driving is now on my bucket list. Great job with the video!
That was awesome.... you both totally enjoyed it :)......” no drifting with the rig “...great job !!
'shave 5 days off Alaska'... LMAO ha ha ha ..

I think you're losing Trish to the Racetrack!....She IS INTO IT!!
Holy cow you guys! Seriously impressive video work and so much fun to watch! You two have really stepped up your story-telling game since episode 1!

You guys are awesome!!! I look forward to watching your videos every week. Would love to meet up with you all some time. Thank You for great-great videos!!!
Thx for taking us along!
Love the scene where Trish is holding onto the seatbelt!! Glad that wasn’t someone’s hand! 😂
Great video, but where were the kids? I would think that the boys would have wanted to be there cheering you on?
Mom & Dad time :)
OMG! I am so jealous!
Marc, shame on you! Never, ever drive a drag car with your hands on the inside of a stearing wheel! Control is on the outside! Lol!
Looks like you had a blast!
Way to go Girl!
Yeah, I was wondering if someone would notice.
Keep Your Daydream Forgiven!
Nothing quite like a track day to make one feel like a kid again. Great video!
You guys just keep getting better. The footage on this video was spectacular! Love it!
Those lessons can work in life vision focus on your goals look away and you fall back.
Great video guys. Thank you for sharing
Pure adult madness!!! Love it, this class/training provides you with knowledge in a safe environment. Now you get to apply this knowledge to your every day driving.

Take the insurance in case you have mishap on track.
There is a funny line about it that didn't make the edit. I agree.
Did you guys ever do any sailing? It’s been a while since I’ve been to your channel.

That was awesome! Those cars are BEASTS! Thanks for the wonderful footage.
I’m right there with Trish - I’d totally be gripping the seatbelt!!!
Fantastic!!!! Loved the video. Congrats on 100th episode.

That! Was! Awesome!
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, and congratulations on episode 100!
Great video you guys Happy 100.. love your videos ❤️ heading out with our new rig for a camping trip in 2 weeks :-) so excited.
Fantastic episode!! So much fun!!
One of your best videos ever. Great shots and info.
Great as always! Brings back memories of working "rescue" out at Firebird lake for all the races, and skydiving on to the track for special events. Looks like you two had a wonderful time. But how did you get away from the kiddos to do it?
Nice being "home" for that reason.
Great video guys, it is an awesome learning experience when you learn from professionals. Driving a semi I used things I learned in a similar school.
Great 100th episode video. Really wanted to see you run the course in your Super Duty. Bondurant teaches great techniques and situational awareness. Can't wait to see your trip to Alaska!
I would have loved to.... but I had stuff in the bed of the truck :)

Rest area's and truck stops will be filling up more and more with big rigs thanks to new laws. Each truck is equipped with an on truck electric log book. When drivers 8 hrs of driving are up they have to stop or be in violation of state and federal law. Since it is trucks that deliver food , clothes, pipes, wood, cars, etc. everything folks want, they need to have spaces for their trucks to stop. Would love to do this.
Why is no one wearing helmets?
We wore helmets on the big track, but I didn't get footage of that. We couldn't really talk and I didn't have drone footage of it. It was toward the end of the day of each day and the first day, my GoPro's were dead.
cool video !
Yet another great video.
Who's the guy in the backseat??
Wow...just WOW!
Very cool, and fun video, loved it, my husband used to race cars, awesome. 😊
what is 'B' Roll?
Great video
