- We’re not racing to Alaska. There is too much to see along the way. The first of many adventures north is rafting in Moab, UT. We rafted Cataract Canyon with Western River bit.ly/Western-.... We’ve heard so many great things about these multi-day rafting trips, we had to experience for ourselves. It goes without saying that the attraction of rafting the Colorado River is the class 5 rapids, but there is so much more to experience.
We were taken back by the strength of the river while being equally peaceful. Trips like this are the perfect opportunity to connect with family and close friends. There are few experiences that are truly disconnected from the world and cell phones.

Man you guys know how to live. It really looked like an awesome experience in the Cararact Canyon in Moab Utah. Looked like people really connected with each other because there was no cell phone service so you had to connect with real people an not via tablet’s or cellphones. You truly live by the “YOLO” definition

Beautiful video, great editing. Loved seeing Carson in the co-pilot seat of the Kodiak. I believe you said he was going to a camp sometime this summer to get some flying experience. He can solo at age 16. I did that over 50 years ago and it's been a big part of my life ever since, teaching flying now. Maybe one day Carson will be flying Mom and Dad around!

First, I am not an RV person, I have never owned one... Until a week ago. I have bought an old 1977 motor home to turn into a food truck, and I found your channel from some of my searches... I went on that same trip 45 years ago. Only we didn't get to paddle the boats. we stayed on the big boats. What a rush going down cataract rapids. I swear we dropped ten feet and went under water for 10 sec. Best trip of my life!
Loved this! Brought back memories for me. Jay and I did this 20 years ago with the same company. Bucket list thing for me and I wasn't disappointed. LOVED IT! Thanks for the memories!

Great video guys! I used to go hunting with my dad every december and I remember seeing satellites fly across the night sky.
He was also a pilot, so I got to see many beautiful sights from the air.

You guys are SO SPECIAL and you do AMAZING things!!!! Thank you SO MUCH for taking me along!!! You see, I’ll NEVER be able to do that!!! Not because of money but because ...... I went on a rafting trip when my husband, Charlie (you remember Charlie, right?) was on his “ginny pig” run as a rafting guide on the Wenatchee River in Washington. Everything was fine while HE was guiding....then we came to Devils Drop & the professional guide took over because it was his favorite rapid....Charlie told him he is not taking it right.....well, Charlie was RIGHT....and in we all go!!! Granted, I had my life jacket on, the water was EXTREMELY cold....but the worst part was ..... I am EXTREMELY scared of water & CANNOT SWIM!!!!!! Needless to say, everything turned out ok (other than this man’s wire rimmed glasses that when I was falling out of the boat, I apparently reached for ANYTHING and his glasses ended up crushed in my hand....). I have not been in the water since. Why am I SO SCARED of water....when I was little, I took lessons at YMCA & they THREW me in the deep end!!! Well, I immediately sank!! They had to go in and get me out!!! There is NO AIR in water, well, none I can breathe, anyway. So WHY did I go on the rafting trip???? I SO WANTED to go and I would have a life vest on ....... never again!!!!!! Thank GOD the YMCA doesn’t give lessons like that now!!!!

Western River Adventures is awesome! I did a trip with them last year in the Grand Canyon and it was the most awesome trip! Looks like you had a blast too!

One of my best vacations ever. My trip was 200 river miles, we put in at Marble Canyon and 25 years ago It was a 18 month lead in.

Great trip! Back in my college days I went on a rafting trip it was a blast.
We didn't get a ride back in a Cessna Caravan but the bus was fun to.
