For anyone who has to answer the questions to this video: 1. exotic species 2. some introduced species negatively impact ecosystem function and others are not harmful 3. Any of the above 4. 1.4 Trillion 5. introduction of an exotic species 6. all of the above 7. An exotic plant is defined as “not native to the continent on which is now found.” An introduced plant is similar to an exotic plant, however, it is usually a result of human activity or without natural intervention. An invasive species is a species that is non-native or alien to the ecosystem which is capable of causing harm to the environment or economy. The main difference between exotic and introduced is the fact that human activity is the cause for the introduction. Exotic plants are not usually invasive but can become invasive. 8. I would have to disagree with my friend, the reason why I disagree is due to the possibility of an invasive species being introduced to the environment which leads to effects like an unbalanced food chain and can cause an entire species to go extinct in that area. This would overall decrease biodiversity as only one species is thriving due to competitive advantages. 9. As we know, humans have been purposely introducing new species to different environments in order to serve their purpose. When humans bring along these foreign species they can have significant impacts on the environment, whether positively or negatively, the human population thrives due to us being able to domesticate species and transport them to wherever fits our needs. The negative side to this is that these species can sometimes be invasive to the environment because the lack of natural control such lack of predators and diseases that would normally control their population.
Very well put Sonia, it is sad that a lot of the human population does not care about are environment and what the impact is. However there are a lot of humans that still care, hopefully we will be able to educate the rest before it is to late. So be and educator and do what you can and we will persevere. Thanks for caring, but most of all BELIEVE!
If you’re going to introduce species start off with introducing plants. If all plants are introduced then start off with introducing herbivores. Then introduce omnivores. Then introduce carnivores.

is so sad that for us we are more important than the entire planet :- (
We kind of need it too lol. Its ironic, selfishness( doing what we want) will take away are ability to get what we want in the future.
