Thanks for the update in the end. Why are so many cool Weber products not sold in the US? I'll have to add this to my list of things that I want to pick up if I get the chance. Canada gets better colors for the kettles and Australia has a rotisserie attachment for the Q.
Yes its weird. We have a few colors also - but not the same. The Q rotisserie used to be here but i have not seen it for some time. Apprently this was launched 2012 but did not catch one so now they are few and gar between. I ordered it on clearance with 2 left in stock. Paid half of what i saw it for on amazon. Still cost more than kettle pizza though - but thats not available here either. I think this wilö be easy to use after getting the knack of it. And it made a good pizza do it should be more avvailabke imo :) Thanks Ryan!
Another new awesome cooking tool. I have never seen this method of cooking pizza. Looks really professional. I love thin slice, still finding out how. How long did you take to prove the dough?
Thanks. It worked really well. The dough recipe is on the oven pizza from last week - there is a link in the icard :) But i let it double in size - about 30 minutes. This is a really good dough. Its flexible and dont break :)
Thnks Luis. Worked a charm. Yes a little smoke i would say - but then again i used smoked cheese so... I plan to try it out adding a cpl of sticks of wood at wome point which should be a better smoke generator :)
I noticed you are opening the lid, rather than utilizing the opening in the front to manipulate the pizza. (As you would in a Kettle Pizza) You'd definitely get better results without opening the lid once it's up to temp. I own a kettle pizza, and while it yields great results, it's a bit of a hassle to use (Large, difficult to remove when hot if you're trying to salvage your fuel & close everything up, especially with the stone & grating inserted). I wish they had sold these in the US so I could compare.
Wow super great. I have been so unhappy with the local pizza places here for so long that we are really wanting to get this home-pizza thing going. I'm glad you showed your first time trying the pizza oven. Looking forward seeing pizzas after you get some practice under your belt !! I'm hungry now ! Thanks Lasse
Thts what i think too. Pizza places where i live are plenty - but none that i want to revisit really. This way i can chooe exactly what i want too :) Kiitos Päivi
I buyed one year ago the weber pizza oven and it is amazing! like you said the secret is waiting a little more the heat growing and add charcoal Incredibles results ! Ciao from Italy
That’s a pretty cool attachment and the pizza turned out great. The toppings are some of my favorites, anchovies (some people don’t like em) melt down and add a nice salty flavor, artichoke hearts for sure, the meat, cheeses, perfect. Great job brother!
There is one in the US that is called the pizza kettle for the weber. I almost ordered one. But I need my weber when having parties so I got the UUNI 3. Looks like both are good choices.
Yes i have seen videos of it. I was looking online for it and found this instead. I have been looking at the uuni as well - maybe one day. Thank you Charles :)
That's a cool attachment wish we could get something like that here in the States, until then I've subbed to your channel and will have to watch you. Question I heard you say it on the second pizza you added a lump charcoal with the protest to heat up Stone longer have you ever thought of putting any hardwood or have you tried that I might help pick up the heat. Anyways have a great weekend.
Hehe i always have to rewrite stuff that turns out wrong :) This is a really nice attachment. I have not had it long enough to figure out what is best, but i will add hardwood for sure. I just did not want to step away from the instructions the first use :) Lump gets hotter, but some added splits will gove the pizza a mice smokey flavour. Most likely i will be ising apple since i have trees that i prune, but maybe i will just add chunks of other woods to try too. Pizza coming up soon again i am sure, the kids are pestering me about it :) Thanks for tagging along!
Thanks Tom. Yes kind of funny since weber is such an american icon. Still ppl abroad get to choose between different accessories and colors. It made a really good pizza once i got the temp a bit higher too so i think i will be happy with it :)
That’s a pretty neat Weber pizza attachment. Wish we could get them here in the states. My Weber that put an after market pizza attachment blew over and broke the stone in half- oh well I got some ideas from Heavy Metal BBQ on what to do with the stone pieces.
Yes i find it weird they do not sell this in the states. I would understand if it was the other way around of course. Yes the stone seems the weak link. Fortunately i saw the note that it does not handle frost well. Since the attachment is a rare thing here too (never saw it before snd the online store had it on clearance) i am on the lookout for an extra stone just in case. I have seen that landmann - a german grill manufacturer has a stone that is about 3/8” smaller which should work though. The weber one costs more than a jumbo joe 😜.
Video's almost 2 years old, but I had a thought.... Perhaps keep the lid closed? When you open it, you lose most of the heat that has built up. It looks like the front opening is wide enough to put the pizza in (and take it out) without lifting the lid.
Thanks Chris. There are others that are sold in the states that do the same thing. I think thats a part of the reason weber limits the area they sell to. Here there are no alternatives as far as i could find. And even this was only available in two online stores in sweden :) Does what its supposed to though :)
Lasse, I never knew there was such an attachment that people could purchase. Thought it was very cool and looks like you'll be using it a lot excellent video for first time using it
Thanks Mike. Apprently its only available in europe if that. Weber launched it in 2012 but i find very little info after that. Just a handful videos on youtube too so i guess it did not catch on. I was searching for a kettle pizza attavhment when i came across this on clearance so i figured it was nice enough not to pass over :) A few more tries and i will be whistling o sole mio out on the deck :)
Ooo fancy! ! Finally something sold there and not here for you ;) This looks like such a nice accessory because there is no substitute for the hot pizza ovens that really compare to restaurant pizza ! Grilled pizza has such a better flavor :) yummy !
Thanks. There are some really nice products for the kettle. Most common is kettle pizza i think - seems like a great product but not sold in sweden... this worked really well though :)
Kenny Everett hi. I really think it does a great job. Then again i cant compare it to for instance the kettle pizza which i have had a few comments is better. They dont have this though so.... Either way i would say yes its worth it if you can find it. Having to import it from far away might be too big of a cost though if you can get hold of an alternative.
Thanks, i bought it online, but have since heard its not available in many places. Maybe you can find it on ebay? Mine was the last from a clearance sale so not available from ewhere i bought it anymore either. To bad since its a really good accessory
Nice pizza oven, except the stone seems a bit too slim to me. I think that a heavier stone could save the heat better. But at the end your pizza result is great! Thumbs up! :-)
That seems like an interesting gadget for the Weber. I am sure with some more cooks you will be getting some high quality pie. No such thing as too many toppings on a pizza in my book.
Hehe i guess you are right. I just always feel like i am making a huge mess :) Yes i think i will figure out how to make them best after a few tries :)
Do a search on "Little Black Egg". You can turn an old used Weber into a monster pizza oven. I've got one. It's awesome, and will cost less than this Weber made attachment.
Cool looking attachment, I have the Kettlepizza attachment. I would buy the Weber version if it was available here. You can never have too many toppings. RTFO!!! GB
Thanks GB. It did work well. I like the construction so far - but was looking for the kettle pizza thing and found this :) Well i usually overfill so :) Cheers
Ah yes, that’s just the way I like to eat my pizza: folded! Cool attachment, looks like it treats those pizzas right. I didn’t quite get how that lever was supposed to work though lol 🤙
Honestly this accessory isn't good and it doesn't make a good pizza because every time you open the lid, you're gonna lose all the heat so you won't be able to get a nice bubbly and crunchy crust. The weber Kettle Pizza has a waaaay better design and it allows you to reach temperatures and heat conditions very similar to professional pizza ovens. My choice then goes to weber kettle pizza or compatible designs.
Hello. I assume you have both and can compare? I only have this and as far as i can tell from using it your state, ent is not really correct. Heat builds up very quickly. But of course since i dont have the other i am not fit to compare them. Thanks for watching though ✌🏻
@@LassesFoodAndBarbecue I have the kettle pizza and the pizza stone. I personally think that this accessory isn't better than the pizza stone + barbecue lid, heat dispersion and buildup is basically the same when you open the lid. The pizza kettle, on the other hand, allows pizza to be exactly like the italian pizza that is cooked in traditional stone and wood ovens, because the heat is constant and you don't get the problems with the dough not rising correctly because of the excessive temperature swings. It's tricky because in the PK you need to constantly turn the pizza around to not burn it, but it's the same in traditional pizza ovens. Just my personal thought, not meant to criticize. This accessory is surely cool looking.
Altair Garden gorcha. Like i said it cooks a good pizza, but as i understand it not available anywhere anympre so it could be due to the competition being better. For some reason it was never sold in the US either :/

Very nice job! That attachment looks like it worked great!
Thank you Joe, yes it worked fine, and after a few uses i am sure it will work perfect :)
Nice attachment for the weber, looks like it did a nice job on that pizza Lasse... Do you get a hint of smoke flavor on the pizza?
Thnks Luis. Worked a charm.
Yes a little smoke i would say - but then again i used smoked cheese so...

I really like that attachment, it is on my list to get or something similar.
Thank Kirby. I think it works great, but of course i only tried it once :)

A new toy, looks really good. Thank you for the tutorial. Hes a good doggie guarding the grill.

🤔 wonder if it would work on my Blackstone Griddle 😏
Hehe not sure - maybe Tom could fit it??
I wonder if the blackstone would heat a pizzastone enough though? Maybe it does not get hot enough?
I am going to have to figure out how to get one of those for my grill! Great cook!

Do you think this is a good accessories now you have it a while. Cant get it in Ireland :( thanks

Great review and some great pizza!
Thank you Pete. Another gadget - but a useful one :)
So after having the Weber pizza oven for a while, what do you think of it? Good/bad points? Is it worth buying if I can find one? Thanks in advance.

Nice grill attachment, looks like it makes some good pizza.
Thank you Sir. Yes it works quite well. Once i get a few more cooks out of it i am sure it will be great :)
I like it Lasse, a few test runs to learn the timing but it looked great. I would like to have one, that's awesome.
Thanks Ron. Yes i am sure you are right. Easy to use, easy to clean etc. i am sur ei will use it :)
Looked good to me think I will have to get one for my Weber
Thanks Roger. They are UK made so you should be able to find one pretty easy :)
You know how much I love Weber I wish I could get on here in America
Yes i know youndo. Any many others too. So weird they dont sell it in the states.
Maybe you can order it somehow?
That pizza looks delicious. We're building a stone pizza oven. I hope when it's done the pizza comes out like that.
Thats so cool. I built a stone offset barbecue last year - and hav thought a lot about if i need a pizza oven also... this is a start though :)
Too much topping? Impossible! That's a very interesting pizza contraption, that is for sure. Good review.
Thank you Terry. Somehow i knew you would say that lol :)
Now I want one of these but they're not listed in the South African weber store.
Hi, apparently they are only sold in a few countries, i have heard that they are not sold in the US either which is a bit weird.
Lasse, where did you buy this from, I want / NEED one and I can find it in the UK

Thumbs up! :-)
Thanks. That i agree with. I wonder if i can find a heavier stone of the right size, or one i cam cut perhaps :)
looks great wish we could buy them here in America

Thanks John. Now I want pizza again :)
