Just opening my window after a "down" day (45 hour fast) with pepitas, pistachios and cheese stick. I have been following this channel for almost a year. As of this morning, I am down 51 pounds! I do mostly OMAD, but NEVER restrict myself from any type of foods. I literally have dessert EVERY day! Thank you Jackie!!!!! Your channel (along with your recommended reading of Fast, Feast, Repeat) has CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER!!!! FREEDOM FROM FOOD!!!!!

A little off topic but . . . Now that I’m about 10 months into fasting, the best part is craving protein and veggies and not craving carbs. Gin Stephens describes appetite correction which I did not believe, but here I am craving roasted Brussels sprouts!

I'm not an OMAD'er but I do practice Alternative Day Fasting (36 hours fasting every other day). I love the freedom, and simplicity, that this lifestyle offers. I don't count calories, nor do I limit food groups. I eat as much of whatever I want for my 12-hour eating window. Once the window is closed; back to fasting for 36 hours; rinse and repeat.

I did ADF and lost 30 lbs and then stalled - and was cold, losing my hair!....have gone to OMAD with a one hour eating window - eating whatever I want (even stuffing myself sometimes as Im learning to listen to my sense of being satisfied) and am losing weight again, am warm and hair loss slowing down.
I think OMAD is a great way to learn how to relate to food as fuel and not be governed by your belly....but still appreciate all the wonderful flavors and tastes of food.

I am counting my protein for the time being as I dont eat enough & I also want to eat more plant based - that's it.
I am looking fwd to my 1st spring & summer as I want to lose weight then. So far using OMAD has maintained my weight over Christmas My Birthday & Easter. Now I'm just doing The Warrior, which is a 4 hr eating window. I usually do one meal or two in that window, and then I'm fasting 20 plus hours a day. Now, if I can be consistent and stick to it, maybe I will lose weight 😅😂😅.
