- Hazbin Hotel pilot casts were great too, I maybe prefer most of the newer casts but I feel if the pilot casts were to do the amazon series, I would have liked them just as much too.

I like both casts. Both brought their best to the project.
I truly enjoyed both versions of the cast. Each VA made the character they were voicing unique within their time voicing the characters. So to me, it's kind of like two separate eras of the Helluverse. Each has strengths and weaknesses, but in the end, both casts are incredible and did an amazing job!
Fun fact: Husk's original VA didn't want to sing so Black Gryphon did it for him. Vaggies also didn't want to sing, which is why she's only in the BG

We really met them again. For example, Edward Bosco is now everywhere in Helluva Boss and Michael Kovach is everywhere in other projects

Black gryph0n was actually Alastor’s singing voice in the pilot
in 6:35 alastor's scatting feels like a tribute his song "insane" where that same scatting pattern is sung !! so hearing it again brought back such nostalgia, like bringing back a piece of the character back hit hard :')))
That's because it is a callback to that song, including the line "and we've enjoyed every insane minute of it!" at 1:45 :)
I noticed that when the song released and I was with my friend and we both started singing insane
This song made me cry 🥲 I had gotten very attached to the main cast over 4 years
Blackryph0n and Baasik are brothers, both of them were on AGT known as the "Brown Brothers"

From what I heard the pilot voice for Charlie said she really struggled with the songs and talking both her and the Amazon show sound really close but the Amazon Charlie really sings so much better to me. The pilots just too high pitch for me. Inside of every demon is a rainbow will always be a bop though 😂

They chose to replace the original cast for practical reasons. Several of the main characters had two voice actors in pilot, one for talking, one for singing. Vizipop designed the main series with a very musical/Broadway type vibe, & they didn't want to have to have two people playing the same characters again, so they needed people who could do both, hence why most of the Amazon cast are actual Broadway performers.
I like this song a lot. It's on my regular playlist.
I've been following Black Gryphon since the MLP days. So glad to see him in other stuff i like.. i just discovered Hazbin and Boss about a month ago.

You had me fucking dying of laughter when I thought you were gonna say it kinda fuckin sucked😂 cause I was happily enjoying the song crying cause I binged the show in 1 night and after i finished it saw this song and played it as a finale farewell on my speakers to the cast for doing such an amazing job 😂😂and you had me there lmao it was the same kind of humor the show would use 😂😂 and just the timing of you saying it was perfect😂 side note: I also binged both your song reactions for hazbin and your episode reactions. P.S again: if you ever feel like it Fabvl had a good song for alastor called "Cant be saved" its really good.😊❤

Nah fr I loved her character but I couldn’t STAND her voice oml. Erika is WAY better imo
tbh i like old alastor more i think the voice suited him more because i felt like in the pilot he was kinda more like charming and entertaining i dont really know how to say it but i just liked pilot alastors voice more :)

fun fact Blackryph0n got a lot of his start in the MLP fandom he has a few songs from that fandom that he made and even did one with one of the VA's Michelle Creber who plays Apple Bloom, also I believe they dated at some point as well or are just really good friends
Love this song & while in some cases lìke with Husker, Charlie, & Cherri where the new actor fits the character more for the most part I like the actors from both the OG cast & the new one equally. Also Black Gryph0n has done several songs as Alastor that are amazing & to me his was the only one that didn't completely through me off when I first heard it in season one

If you found this was a weired experince because of the voice changes I can recommend you two other voice claims for Valinteno so you can compair lol. Thats how i walked into the series and i must say all three have their merits but it REALLY changes the flavor of the character and what you expect from them dependent upon which head voice you read his lines of the fanon comics in.
I feel like black gryphon is better singing voice but alastors new voice fits his classy theme more
