Yeah probably a big self-image issue. Like, she never wanted him, but when he cheated she was like "You'd rather have THAT over ME?" I mean plus their reputation but Stella strikes me as a cartoonishly self-centered person. She didn't even think about inheritance when calling a hitman until her brother gratifyingly called her a "stupid cow" over it. Her focus was nowhere near family affairs.
“You Will Be Okay” never ceases to make me tear up. Stolas’ voice actor is so incredible for this role. Can’t wait for you to hear his latest song in the series.

Some stories of Lilith have her cursed with the inability to have children, with all of hers being either born dead or dying shortly after being born. It could be Charlie isn't their first child, just the first one to survive.

I heard that Vivz even confirmed that Charlie was fathered by Lucifer, because of the abortion curse. I can only assume that this led to some tension between Lucifer and Lilith and I wonder if that was part of why they broke up. I too am HELLUVA SUS from Lilith. Even before the end of this episode.

Just interesting information for you:
Vivien (the author) wrote that Stolas is much stronger than Alastor (which means that he doesn't really need protection). Sins are stronger than Stolas (Mammon, Belphegor, etc., and only Lucifer is stronger than Sins). Despite this, Alastor decided to fight with Adam, whose equal in hell is only Lucifer.
I think that charlie and Lilith are stronger than any other hellborn, so Adam's hell equivalent is Mostlikely Lilith or charlie (if she had actual intention to harm and training). Lucifer is definitely above, as by judging by the number of wings he is a seraph
Also Lucifer is a Sins, i dont know how strong are Charlie and Lilith 🤔
@@Kanamo4781it's highly possible the hellborn goetia are fallen angels, in lore Stolas is but Vivz might do different as obviously it's her version, but Goetia should be pretty scary and probably closer to Adam, especially someone like Stolas or Pimon, either that or the sins themselves, I kinda feel like so few sins exist they're more like Seraphim of hell, which Adam is not, so I'd rank him more as top tier Goetia level.
Lucifer is an ARCHANGEL not a sin. Lilith is a sin. You have to A. Be human and B. Die to become a sin. Lucifer has done neither.@@lamichevolediquartiere5954
@@danny1ft1I think since we have not seen the other sins yet, we can’t make that judgment (hopefully we do see them in the upcoming season). Also, from the actual lore of the angels/demons. It has Lucifer, Lilith, The remaining 7 deadly sins, Pimon, and then Stolas would fit in that next slot, then any of the overlords ranked how seen fit. I am actually wanting to know based off the information we have if they remaining sins will truly have their characteristics based on their sins, cause Satan is going to be a powerhouse.
Considering Stolas's love for reading and words, him correcting Octavia about it being a nightmare is really funny
And the fact that he can't articulate himself to Via? "I'm sorry... I don't have the words..." That hits hard. Really hard.
It's important to note that Stella is getting mad at Stolas for being with an imp. And being an embarrassment. Nothing about being hurt or betrayed. She's literally only mad because Stolas slept with an imp. Kind of says something about her....doesn't it?
TBH the Owl like demons would fit right in with the Aurelian species from Star Trek. Although they don't seem to be able to fly without magic, we have seen Aurelians without wings so it could be similar to how Caitians, Vulpinians and the Gorn have varied appearences.
@@Watcher1134 the Goetia are based on various birds not just owl, while yes Stolas and Octavia are owl, Stella and Andrealphus (which we see much later) are peacock, and we actually see a lot of bird looking demons that could be part of the Goetia family too, and are considered the rich upperclass nobles of Hell (so hellborn)
Might be important yes, but that all will be explained later in the story as the full picture gets unravelled. So let people get there with the story and for now make their opinions based on what they see now. It's kind of a growing journey for the viewers as well.
I keep getting the sense that Stella's been sleeping around for decades, possibly including with her brother, they give off major Lannister vibes together.
It kinda makes sense when all Stella has ever known is money, status, and reputation. She was more pissed off when Stolas mentioned going to a motel "like a plebian". It ruins HER image, not the relationship, which is understandable but not inexcusable on Stolas.
fun fact the voice of Fizzarolli (the robot clown) is the same one as Adam from Hazbin Hotel

This is hands down the most accurate portrayal of tackling the difficult subject of ether a separation or divorce I have ever seen in a cartoon. They really weren't afraid to go there and get real with it. No punches pulled for the win.

There’s a few explicit hazbin references in this episode.
When Millie points out the dinosaur thing on the camera left of him there’s a stand game themed around the exterminations.
Part of the fizz bot’s song is from the song in hazbin pilot. “I have a dream I’m here to tell”
Lucifer is explicitly mentioned by both Ocotiva and the little paper the fizz bot gets out where it has the owner of Loo Loo land “Manmon” say that lucifer is his “ruler and friend”. Finally the fun house stolas and Octavia talk at the end of the episode, the entrance way is lucifer’s face. Or rather probably the park’s rip off of him “loo-cifer”

It’s so fun seeing folks experience this after Hazbin when the tone is so different. But I forgot how early they dropped lore here-this season seems like it’s a little back and forth with being ‘episode of the week’ and actually having plot threads because it’s mainly to introduce you to the characters themselves and give you the set up for S2 to really start punching you in the gut

At Loo Loo Land, there was a green sky because it was in the Greed Ring, quote from Vivienne, "'sinners' can only exist on the top ring, Pride."

THAT SHIT IS LITERALLY MY REASON TO LOOK FORWARD TO EACH DAY. Waiting for the new episode, more stolas. Like im literally starved and dehydrated for stolas. (Can you tell he's my favorite character?? I bet you cant lmaoo)
His voice actor is a broadway actor so of course his singing has to SLAP.
Not a single stolas song is anything less than 12/10 and i fucking shed a tear when i first listened to this song. Its so pretty and heartfelt. Bryce Pinkham did a great job, as always.
If i didnt have helluva and few of my other comfort shows, id literally be in the trenches of depression and burnout with the way life currently is.
And yes, this episode was the one where stolas became more than a horny owl prince who occasionaly bothers blitz for some "passionate fornication" in return for his mega powerful book and it became deeper.
He's a great dad who really loves his daughter and he's trying despite battling his terrible issues which we learn about more in season 2.
Stella, despite being justfied for being pissed was so violent and angry towards him simply because it was an IMP??? And he thought of going to a motel???

Gotta say though, her character deisgn and voice is phenomenal.
Its like with Val. Im always conflicted because on one hand im mesmerised by his design, his flair and his hot voice but on the other i keep feeling grossed out by his actions at the same time.
Stella’s more of a comic character, though, even when she’s posing a real threat. It’s so much fun to hate her.
I love how tiny blitz is compared to stolas and the fact that hes supposed to be his body gaurd.
Especially when you realise that Stolas doesn’t need a bodyguard anyway. Just the most adorable thing 🥹🥹

I also just learned that this "Loo Loo Land" is owned by Mammon, Sin of Greed (u will meet this sin next season), and it's a spin off of Lucifer's "Lu Lu Land." That's why it's located in a ring where the sky is green rather than red (Lucifer's color) from the Pride Ring.

Stolas' linage is possibly fallen angel, is in actual lore but dunno about Vivs version but Stolas is like a god level being compared to other denizens of hell, only difference between Stolas and someone like Alistor is he's more like Luci, he won't fight unless he has to, he's not interested in showing off his power.
I'm pretty sure Vivzie is going to reveal at some point that he is. In Hazbin, you can see in the episode where Charlie goes to heaven that there are three stolas-looking owls as jurors. But since this version doesn't have the rebellion in Heaven, I'm not sure how she's gonna make it canon

it still remmenber .. it was in this episode that all the crazyness about the musicals have started ... every one of us started to get blow away with the musicals ... and BLITZ0 my fav character of vizipop hell ... and then the wait for episode 6 ... and blow away (what an amazing episode man ) ..
cool thing is about 2 voice actors:
1) Brandon Rogers who plays Blitz in Helluva Boss also played as Katie Killjoy in the Hazbin Hotel series!!
2) Alex Brightman who plays Sir Pentious & Adam in Hazbin Hotel also plays as Fizz (u saw his robot in this episode, and u will see the real Fizz in ep 7 & S2) in Helluva Boss!!!
I think he was less so trying to “correct her”, and more so just find the words she couldn’t.
Which does make it kinda funny there at the end, that he struggles really bad with not having the right words.

NO HOW WAS I 13 HOURS LATE?? 😭 ANYWHO! Stolas is lowkey my favorite character just because of his "sexual" humour and his kindness, including how he tries so hard to be a good dad and be loved by Blitzø.
I had bias for Loona beong my favorite character because of her design *cough cough.
But after watching the whole of this show so far, Stolas quickly became my favorite. He's such a mood, and has my fav songs from the ost. 😭

I stayed to the end! The music in this show is amazing and the real Fizz(not the robot one) is my favotite character. his VA is the same one that does Adam and Sir Pentious in Hazbin! the show keeps getting better and better!

Helluva Boss is one of those shows that just gets nothing but better. The only exception I can think of is 2x5, which I find kind of... boring? But the episode directly after that is my favorite season 2 episode so
I noticed a small detail about the reaction: the female reactors have the most problems remembering Octavia's name, while the male reactors have problems remembering Stola's name 🙂

I watched this episode second, (I didn’t know of the pilot, a friend had introduced me to it without ANY explanation) and so Stolas’ singing was my first song from this hell universe and goddamn it caught me so off guard it was when I realized that “oh wow, this show is actually something big”
