You have been such nurturing parents Tosh and Josh. It is so awesome to watch Ralphie’s mechanic skills increase by the week. He’s not afraid to tackle any project. I love seeing such a strong loving family doing “things” together. When Ralphie is older, he will look back fondly on these projects and will lead his own kids to learn to have fun without a smart phone in their hand all the time. God bless you all. 🙏🏻❤️
That little red wagon's got some pep! My father in about 1957 took a pedal army jeep and put a Briggs& Stratton one cylinder motor on. The way you got it to move is he had a fan belt that went down to a pulley on the rear axle. No brakes, but it would only go about walking speed. My brother and I were four and five years old and could both get in it and ride it around the yard. Of course the turning radius put us in the ditch more often than not. Lol. Your son won't forget these times with you Josh.
I know this old video I love the way Josh and Tosh. Is helping Ralphie's getting his drifting trike going. Josh I love the way your family all together doing mechanic work.
Get the most common set up. Probably BIKE chain. Shorten the brake lever and put a grip on it. And throw some long poles out front for foot pegs. THEN you could also put the brake out THIER on a revolving or day roll back is the gas roll forward is the brake. But Love Ya Guys And You'll get it worked out. I think it's Just AWSOME. Love your ride RALPHIE
We love watching you all. Ralph we know you're so lucky to be able to work with your dad. Are fixing to turn into a race car driver to. We got faith in you
One of my neighbors built a tote gote out of water pipe, wheelbarrow wheels and a lawn mower engine. He got it running but lost interest so he let me and a couple of my ten yr old friends mess with it--what an education! That scooter was my intro to motorcycles in 1959--I have owned over 100 motorcycles since then, a car restoration shop and got some racing experience all starting from that scooter.
Awesome video I wish my dad would have built me one like that when I was a kid Ralphie is a lucky boy to have a dad like you absolutely love the channel y’all are great
What a cool father and son project. Ralphie is becoming a great gearhead thanks to dad. When he's an old man he will tell stories about the cool little trike he and his dad built!
These are the things you remember when you get old, spending quality time tinkering with your Dad. Great way to raise a boy, good to hear Robby is gaining some mechanical knowledge at such a young age.
Dillon SHIPLEY He also had said Wrong Auto a bunch. And I agree with him on that .Every time and I mean every time I've went to their site they have either been out of stock, discoed or on back order till who knows when. So I don't even bother with them anymore.
They are junk I Ben buying Hercules from HF I have great luck with all of them 👍. The old porter cable worked not to bad but the new one's are 💯 % junk.
What a great idea!!! That looks like a lot of fun, and it's almost there! It only needs some foot rests and the corresponding decals, and that rat trike will be ready to rock! 😁
Oh WOW! You caught me off guard with this video! 😱I had my hands full with a lot going on at my shop, so I wasn't on here, but that's a really cute motor trike you made! Looks like maybe add some outriggers for the legs. 😂 I'm watching for your mail video soon! Sending Godly love to y'all!
One of my very first projects i did with my dad was this...brought back memories... We took out the gov and then i rode it so high and fast, i put the rod thru the crankcase...Lesson Ralphie....hahaha Great project to have memories all his life...
I don't know why I haven't watched this one before today; it is a good one! Love seeing Ralphie "tear into things" with no instructions (just like I do). That's the way to learn. Josh, you and Tosh are doing a good job letting him work until he says he needs help. He will have so much fun telling his kids about how he did his first "rebuild" with Papa Josh helping😀😀😀
Hi guys, please please listen to an old motocross her and either shorten our reroute the throttle cable it is bouncing up and down and touching the ground end it is just a matter of time before you catch something sticking up out of the ground and it will yank that motor wide open and spend the drift cart around into a high side crash. Really good job look forward to you finishing it for Ralphie.
Ralphies gonna be doing Tokyo drifts..... Fast and Furious man ~ ps can't wait too see Mama rippin around on that trike 😁 Grandfather John Pennsylvania Livin the Dream
Ralphie is a lucky kid! You guys are great parents. That is the one of the reasons we watch you. Yes we like the car content, but you have your whole family involved. And that is very cool. As for the drift trike, awesome build! My friend Bobby lives in Colorado springs. They go up pikes peak and ride homemade trikes down after putting PVC pipe pieces over the rear wheels. They are nuts! I like yours a lot better. Keep up the great content.
6:43 best way they can remember how to loosen a bolt or nut is to pretend the bolt or nut is the cap of a pop bottle. So if they can remember to open a pop bottle, it’s the same way.
This looks bad ass. You should shorten the front bike frame a bit and bolt it as far forward in the wagon. Give it a little more stability and room for ralphie. Plus the further that is between his legs the more chance ralphie gonna catch it to the cahoneys. Looks sweet though.
I gal that you showed him how to work on making things out of things. He gal he have a good dad to show him how to work on them. Keep showing them how to work on them. God bless you and your family.
You are a wizard in making EFI parts designed for different vehicles work together, you fearlessly plunge into wiring snarls that would make most men cringe, but you are as innocent as Ralphie when it comes to chains/sprockets. Never mind, its 150 year old technology and very simple once you learn it. You and your son will prevail and it will be a good memory for all. I did the same kinda stuff in the 50's--it was a wonderful time but my dad wasn't involved--he knew nothing about such things. Good goin, Josh.
Dad reminds me of the old man that had a lot of influence on me. He sat in his easy hair in the shop and told me what to do but the only thing he touched was his can of beer. He taught me how to use a lathe, welder and how to use fiberglass all from that chair.
You go little kitty! I was cringing with Ralphie's legs sticking out, if he went over a bump or something and his leg caught on the ground, it could cause a serious injury! Maybe that's why the chain kept coming off?
I couldn't agree more alot of families need this and to go back to the roots and just do stuff like this instead of staring at screens all the time live a little....this family has the perfect mix with the lord and can't forget rocky lol sweet southern content!!!!! From one southerner to another keep up the great work on both channels!!!!!
6in PVC pipe cut to the size of the tires deflate tires put pipe over tire then air up the tire that holds the PVC to the wheel. Makes for a awesome drift machine
I have a son and I can’t wait to show him how to put top ends on Hondas after we sink 5 times in the river and I hope he’s just like me like your son is with you it’s inspiring honestly
What you need is a skateboard truck and wheel on an adjustable bracket to tension the chain .I have seen this done on choppers cheap to replace the wheel when it were down
No googles no gloves no hearing protection. Just real men working. I love it

Awesome drifter trike Ralph your Dad is a Hero. Have fun drifting
Such a good dad. Thanks for teaching a young mind.
That’s a brilliant Father and Son project! Shame you couldn’t get it round the yard flat out!! 🇬🇧
Get the most common set up. Probably BIKE chain. Shorten the brake lever and put a grip on it. And throw some long poles out front for foot pegs. Wow. Thank goodness you saw that smoldering rag. 😮
Great video Josh! Great design, great execution! You get a correct sprocket and Ralphie will be all set!
Very KOOL Ralphie You Need a chain guard and some foot pegs
This reminds me so much of the mini bike that my Late Dad and I built back in the 60's. He made the frame from scratch. I miss you more everyday Dad.
One of my neighbors built a tote gote out of water pipe, wheelbarrow wheels and a lawn mower engine. He got it running but lost interest so he let me and a couple of my ten yr old friends mess with it--what an education! Very cool it ought to be a fun project when you get it done and running hopefully all the kids will like riding it
Yer a good man, teach them young to wrench on motors and this is the perfect scenario to do so!
Ralphie is so lucky!!! This is an awesome build guys! I love yard toy creations. Hope to see more of this one in the very near future. Awesome job!

Awesome thanks
Cool project, Ralphie is so lucky :)
BAD ASS TRYKE!!! VERY COOL!!!
These are the things you remember when you get old, spending quality time tinkering with your Dad. Great way to raise a boy, good to hear Robby is gaining some mechanical knowledge at such a young age.
I am just blown away at your ingenuity and being able to create all of that to work. So neat. Thanks for sharing your family and talents with us. 😊

This is the best video I’ve enjoyed every second
Thank you
“Don’t buy porter cable tools” I’ve never heard you say a more relatable thing than that. And you’ve said A TON of relatable things!
Dillon SHIPLEY He also had said Wrong Auto a bunch. And I agree with him on that .Every time and I mean every time I've went to their site they have either been out of stock, discoed or on back order till who knows when. So I don't even bother with them anymore.
Hahahsh
They are junk I Ben buying Hercules from HF I have great luck with all of them 👍. The old porter cable worked not to bad but the new one's are 💯 % junk.

What a great idea!!! That looks like a lot of fun, and it's almost there! It only needs some foot rests and the corresponding decals, and that rat trike will be ready to rock! 😁
I agree thanks
I love it man. Those kids are lucky
Crazy when you think about it, axel kit and casing combined are more expensive than the whole engine.... Great video guys.
Yeah for sure
I agree I was blown away when I started pricing stuff for these things I've bought vehicles for less than those axle kits.
Nice! I would add a kill switch to the square tubing mid way up so Ralphie can kill the donkeys if needed.
good for you Ralphie! Jon, Ike, and Charles at Cars and Cameras would be proud of ya! Have a great time with your new Drift Trike!
Just what I needed this evening

That's what my dad taught me when I was that age.
Great build! 👍 the Frodo Wagons!
Should put a kill switch on the handle bars. Love this project!

Thank you we appreciate it
6:43 best way they can remember how to loosen a bolt or nut is to pretend the bolt or nut is the cap of a pop bottle. So if they can remember to open a pop bottle, it’s the same way.
Put some plastic casings on it, and cut the front end and rake it like it a chopper. So far easily the coolest build on the channel

So awesome you made this video. just shows again how much you are involved with your kids. Definitely looking like a fun project

Good job Dad!
Ralphey will be and is way ahead of his time learning the mechanics of machinery, motors and cars. The whole family is fun to watch.
You are a wizard in making EFI parts designed for different vehicles work together, you fearlessly plunge into wiring snarls that would make most men cringe, but you are as innocent as Ralphie when it comes to chains/sprockets.
