Anabel Montesinos, the youngest winner (at the age of 17 years old) of the Francisco Tárrega International Guitar Competition in Spain, is a leader figure on the classical guitar worldwide. As Winner of more than 10 first prizes in major guitar contests like the Michele Pittaluga, Citá di Alessandria, in Italy, the Julián Arcas, in Spain, the Raifeisenwettbewerb in Salzburg, Austria, among others, Anabel Montesinos has performed concerts all around the world, made her Debut at the Carnegie Hall in the year 2011, she has played Concierto de Aranjuez by J. Rodrigo in Postdam “open air concerts”, Berlin, for more than 4000 people, and performed with orchestras like the Philharmonic of Turin-Italy, Simón Bolivar Symphony Orchestra-Venezuela, Philharmonic of Oulu- Finland, Havana Philharmonic-Cuba, Philharmonic of Moscow-Russia, etc.
Esta dama es sencillamente sublime. No creo que exagero al afirmar que si no la máxima, es una de las mejores intérpretes de ese tan noble instrumento, no sólo por su insuperable técnica, sino por la comunión de su espíritu con el tema que ejecuta y el compositor.
Coincido totalmente, su comunión con el instrumento sencillamente es exquisito. De verdad pocas veces se ve como en ella. Pensé que era el único que sintió eso.
When Anabel Montesinos plays I hear nothing but pure musical tone. I don't hear fingers, I don't hear position changes, I don't hear anything mechanical, just pure musical tone. She's more than a superb guitarist, she's a great artist upholding the esteemed tradition of one of the finest musical art forms in the world. Bravo! Anabel

There's nothing negative one can say about Anabel, her playing and style. Fantastic technical ability and wonderful musicianship all goes together to give the audience a most memorable evening.
Thank you, Anabel for your playing and grace - no squeaks and sqoarks from unintentional glissandi on the bass strings. That's almost unheard of and makes the programme that much better for the listener. We need this at the moment with the way the world got turned on its head in 2019. I really do hope that you continue to make your music for many years to come. Great stuff !!
While I'm no astounding guitarist by any stretch, playing classical guitar gives me peace like nothing else in this world. At 66 years old, it's now my final pursuit.

In a great musician the flawless technique is hidden under the musical expression and feeling of the piece. The technique is used to bring the piece of music to life - this is an amazing performance and interpretation by an amazing musician, thank you for your music.

Fabulous performance. None finer now or in history. Even Segovia would be impressed. In addition to talent and musicality, Ms Anabel has the quintessential appearance of a Spanish beauty. The only aspect missing in this video is the venue. A venue of soft lighting in arched cloisters would be entirely stunning.

Es una maravilla verle como toca esas notas...! Hay que tener mucha capacidad mental, para memorizar esa mezcla, tan armoniosa y perfecta de tantas notas y acordes, y que suenen tan deliciosamente. Yo, soy español, y de un lugar donde se toca mucho la guitarra flamenca, y conozco algo la guitarra: (pues toco algo de flamenco) pero me quedó admirado, Al VERLA tocar esa piesa musical tan COMPLEJA...pero tan delicamente...dulce como Vos lo hace...RECIVA MI FELICITACIÓN MAS SINCERAS...Y DE TODA ALMA...!!! (((Un Español y Andaluz...donde se podría decir, está la CUNA DE LA GUITARRA FLAMENCA.))) Me gustaría oírle tocar algo, de algún palo Flamenco: SEGURO LO HARIA PRESIOSO...!!! CHAO...!!!
